• Orochimaru watched Naruto through the window, then shot a chakra-reinforced needle through the glass and into Naruto’s neck.
• Naruto lost consciousness and entered the Sealing Space, where Minato Namikaze told him he had been attacked; they used the cameras to identify Orochimaru.

• After the Banana Peel Stairs, Orochimaru was hit by burning bullets from ceiling turrets and struggled against a backward-running escalator and a punching trap.
• Orochimaru shed his skin to escape the painful effects, then went outside and used Wind Release: Wind Cutter Technique to slice open Naruto's window.
• Root Ninjas waited nearby for Orochimaru while wondering why he had not arrived.

Naruto captured Orochimaru so he could obtain Minato Namikaze’s cells and have him release Minato’s soul from the Reaper Death Seal. Kurapika restrained Orochimaru with Nen chains, and Orochimaru began suspecting Kushina Uzumaki was the other soul inside Naruto.

• Naruto woke after capturing Orochimaru and explained that he wanted Orochimaru to help retrieve Minato Namikaze’s soul.
• Naruto handed control of his body to Kurapika, who used Contract Chain to bind Orochimaru’s heart and brain and impose two conditions.

After Danzo learned Minato and Kushina’s consciousnesses were inside Naruto, Orochimaru rejected Danzo’s offer to destroy Minato’s consciousness, leaving Danzo’s path to becoming Hokage more difficult.

• Orochimaru gave Naruto a way to contact him and a test tube containing Minato Namikaze’s cells.
• Naruto placed Minato’s cells in the modified Healing Machine to begin cloning them, surprising Orochimaru.
