Naruto tried to steer the Uchiha Clan away from destruction, but Danzo and Obito attacked as the clan left Konohagakure. After killing Danzo and saving Mikoto and Yakushi Nonō, Naruto continued on with them while the Third Hokage sent a team to capture her.

• Naruto used a disguised clone to warn Shisui Uchiha that Konohagakure might destroy the Uchiha Clan, while she rescued Sasuke Uchiha from kidnappers.
• Fugaku Uchiha led the clan out of Konohagakure, but Danzo and Root ambushed them, and Naruto fled after killing the Root Anbu sent to arrest her.
• Danzo’s forces and Obito Uchiha attacked the Uchiha Clan, killing Mikoto Uchiha and many others as Sasuke awakened his Sharingan.
• Naruto arrived with Yakushi Nonō, killed Danzo, and continued with Yakushi Nonō after declining Shisui Uchiha’s offer to join the clan.
• Naruto found Mikoto alive inside Fugaku Uchiha’s scroll and used the Nine-Tails’ Chakra, CPR, and a blood transfusion to revive and heal her.
• Fugaku Uchiha refused Orochimaru’s offer to join Otogakure, while the Third Hokage ordered Kakashi, Haruki Hyuga, and Yamato to capture Naruto.
• Naruto entered a village with Mikoto Uchiha and Yakushi Nonō, offered a bear pelt for sale, and told the shop owner to stop feeling it up.

Naruto fled Konohagakure with Yakushi Nonō and Mikoto Uchiha, then rescued Karin from Kusagakure and destroyed the village after discovering its abuse of her mother. The group left the Land of Grass as Naruto sought a way to grow stronger, and Orochimaru approached her with an offer involving Ryūchi Cave.

• Naruto rescued Mikoto Uchiha and Yakushi Nonō, then fought Kakashi’s team and escaped with Haruki Hyuga after taking one of his eyes.
• Naruto learned Haruki Hyuga had become a Rogue Ninja, collected bounties with Mikoto and Nonō, and killed Haruki when he attacked them.
• Naruto entered Kusagakure disguised as Shinobu Oshino, found Karin being mistreated, and fought the ninja who tried to stop her from leaving.
• Naruto discovered Kusagakure had lied about Karin’s mother’s burial and found her corpse being dissected, then transformed and destroyed the village with a Tailed Beast Bomb.
• Shisui Uchiha rescued Mikoto, Nonō, and Karin, then used Kotoamatsukami to reach Naruto and calm her, and Mikoto chose to remain with Naruto.
• Naruto left the Land of Grass with Mikoto, Nonō, and Karin while rumors of her destruction of Kusagakure spread and her bounty rose to fifty million.
• Naruto told Mikoto she wanted to learn Sage techniques at Ryūchi Cave and planned to retrieve the Nine-Tails’ other half from Minato Namikaze.
• Karin sensed Orochimaru approaching, and Naruto defeated his clone before confronting his hidden real body and demanding to know what he wanted.

Naruto trained under Orochimaru, grew stronger alongside Karin and Mikoto, and prepared for a promised journey to Ryūchi Cave. As Uba Village faced a threat over the Uchiha Sharingan, Naruto encountered the Akatsuki and began fighting them, hoping to learn about the other Tailed Beasts.

• Naruto agreed to become Orochimaru’s student in exchange for his protection of her companions, then traded a Byakugan to Kakashi for a Chidori scroll that Mikoto learned to use.
• Naruto signed Orochimaru’s snake summoning contract, summoned Manda, and defeated him with Nine-Tails Chakra and Wind Release before beginning intensive training.
• Unknown ninja raided Orochimaru’s base and killed its inhabitants, but Naruto escaped their sealing chains, defeated Manda again, and fought Orochimaru to prove her progress.
• Naruto told the Nine-Tails that their world was a manga in her former world, and the two made peace after arguing over her confession.
• Naruto challenged and fought Orochimaru’s Four Heavenly Kings, then trained until they respected her and Orochimaru promised to take her to Ryūchi Cave in spring.
• While Naruto trained, Shisui became Uba Village’s first Feather Kage, and Itachi protected Sasuke during attacks by Iwagakure ninja.
• The ninja villages prepared to target Uba Village for the Uchiha Sharingan, while Naruto killed a bounty target and discovered that Zetsu had tracked her to the Land of Rivers.
• Naruto met Pain, Konan, Hidan, Kakuzu, and Sasori, rejected their recruitment, and attacked them with clones and Wind Release before catching three of them in Hiruko with her Nine-Tails Chakra tails.

Naruto joined Akatsuki, helped defend Uba Village, and traveled to Ryūchi Cave to learn Sage Mode. When Orochimaru turned against Pain and the Akatsuki, Naruto fought to protect him, then followed his chakra trail and met Jiraiya in the Land of Grass.

• Pain invited Naruto to join Akatsuki, then sent her and Konan to resolve the conflict at Crow Mountain.
• Obito attacked Takao and Fugaku Uchiha, and Mikoto inherited Fugaku’s dojutsu power before traveling to Uba Village as a coalition moved to seize its Sharingan.
• Naruto and Konan helped defend Uba Village, where Shisui served as Feather Kage, and Naruto later returned to Akatsuki’s base with the mission fee.
• Naruto learned Danzo was alive and told Orochimaru she would find a chance to kill him, while Orochimaru began planning to destroy Konohagakure.
• Naruto passed the trials at Ryūchi Cave, endured Tagohime’s venom, and trained with the Snake Princesses to learn Sage Mode.
• Obito controlled Orochimaru into attacking Pain, and Orochimaru fled after the Akatsuki fought back.
• Naruto entered Sage Mode and battled Pain and the Akatsuki to protect Orochimaru, then helped him escape with the Nine-Tails’ chakra.
• Naruto returned the Snake Princesses to Ryūchi Cave, followed the Nine-Tails’ chakra she had left on Orochimaru, and met Jiraiya in the Land of Grass.
