Naruto brought Yugito Nii and the Two-Tails to Otogakure, where they chose to leave Kumogakure and live freely. As Naruto expanded the village and developed Chakra Armor, tensions with the Raikage rose and Akaboshi’s group tried to steal Hoshigakure’s meteorite.

• Naruto accepted Black Zetsu’s information about Yugito Nii and traveled to Kumogakure, where she defeated Yugito and the pursuing Cloud ninja before leaving with her.
• Naruto stopped Yugito from killing herself, but Yugito later followed her after learning she no longer wanted to be treated as a weapon.
• Naruto rescued the feverish Yugito, entered Mishiro En’s arena disguised as Genkai, defeated its fighters, and took Chiyo into her care.
• Naruto freed Matatabi from Yugito’s seal, and Yugito and Matatabi chose to join Naruto in Otogakure.
• Naruto welcomed Yugito, Chiyo, and the tailed beasts to Otogakure, while the Raikage declared Yugito a rogue ninja and ordered her return.
• Naruto expanded Otogakure’s Chakra Armor program and arena business while Yoru’s experiments caused mishaps and Chiyo settled into her new home.
• The Raikage ordered Samui to demand Yugito’s return as a pretext for war, while Akaboshi’s group entered Otogakure to reclaim Hoshigakure’s meteorite.
• Akaboshi fled after mistaking Yiye’s bone-covered body for a monster, and Naruto gave Tsurugi Fubuki and Kano scrolls to study.

Naruto defeated Kumogakure’s forces, secured an alliance, and brought Nagato to Otogakure after he entrusted her with the Rinnegan. As Nagato recovered, Naruto learned Obito was targeting him and hurried to the hospital, where Obito had already arrived.

• Naruto prepared Otogakure for war after refusing Kumogakure’s demand to surrender Yugito Nii, and the Cloud forces attacked in the Valley of Hell.
• Naruto and Otogakure’s allies overwhelmed the Cloud forces, and Naruto defeated Killer B and the Raikage before negotiating a treaty and ransom agreement with Kumogakure.
• Naruto brought Mabui to Otogakure, sang “Blue Bird” at Killer B’s show, and learned that Nagato had turned against Obito after discovering his identity.
• Nagato summoned Naruto, gave her his Rinnegan, and collapsed after warning her about Obito, while Naruto captured Zetsu and learned Obito wanted Kakashi’s Sharingan.
• Naruto brought Nagato to Otogakure, where Yakushi Nonō and Kabuto performed emergency surgery before Tsunade overcame her hemophobia and operated with Naruto’s help.
• Tsunade successfully treated Nagato, while Naruto welcomed Konan into her home and told Yoru that Obito was the man impersonating Madara Uchiha.
• Naruto suspected Obito would target Nagato’s remaining Rinnegan and rushed to the hospital in Rose Core armor, while Konan followed and Obito entered Nagato’s room.

Naruto recovered Nagato, reshaped the Akatsuki, and pursued alliances with Sunagakure, Konohagakure, and Kirigakure while Obito’s plans and village politics continued to threaten her. The arc ended with Naruto fighting her way toward the Mizukage after capturing Kirigakure ninja sent to assassinate her group.

• Naruto stopped Obito from taking Nagato’s Rinnegan, but Obito escaped with Nagato before Naruto and Konan brought him back to safety.
• Naruto proposed that Akatsuki abandon war-making and instead mediate conflicts, and Nagato later agreed to help her strengthen the organization.
• Naruto traveled through Sunagakure, warned Kisame about Obito and the Moon Eye Plan, and learned that Kisame would protect Akino Ai rather than follow Obito.
• Naruto arrived in Konohagakure, told Jiraiya she had killed Danzo, Koharu Utatane, and Mitokado Homura, and eventually signed an alliance treaty with him.
• Naruto refused to interfere with Shisui’s decision about Konohagakure’s alliance proposal to Uba Village and maintained her investments there.
• Naruto left Konohagakure with Konan and Mabui after enduring their retaliation, while Kakuzu funded Kazahana Koyuki’s Make-Out Paradise film.
• Black Zetsu told Obito that Naruto was heading toward Kirigakure, where Naruto, Mikoto Uchiha, Mabui, and Konan captured attackers sent to undermine Mei Terumi.
• Naruto brought the captured Kirigakure ninja into the village and fought the guards who blocked her from seeing the Mizukage.

Naruto gained a transformed body and new Rinnegan powers after emerging from the Gelel Ore Vein, then reclaimed the Yin half of the Nine-Tails and reconciled with Minato. She returned to Otogakure, where Koyuki’s film was disrupted and Sasori and Deidara arrived.

• Mei Terumi defeated Asakura after he attacked Kirigakure, then agreed to an engagement with Naruto as the condition for an alliance.
• Naruto escaped from the Gelel Ore Vein, killed Heide, and used her evolved Rinnegan to restore Camilla and revive Nilgū.
• Naruto took control of Heide’s battleship, returned to Otogakure, and used her new power to alter Yoru’s age and restore several women to youth.
• Obito Uchiha stole Kakashi’s Sharingan, awakened Susanoo, and vowed to kill Naruto and Nagato.
• Naruto retrieved the Death God Mask, revived Minato Namikaze, and extracted the Yin Nine-Tails from him before Minato confronted Obito and escaped.
• Naruto showed Minato her memories of Konohagakure, accepted his apology, watched a movie with him, and released him back to the Pure Land.
• The two halves of the Nine-Tails fought inside Naruto, but she absorbed their colliding Tailed Beast Bombs and persuaded them to stop.
• Koyuki rejected Shichiro and chose Naruto, while Shichiro’s departure disrupted the film, and Naruto then caught Sasori and Deidara and allowed Deidara to stay in Otogakure under warning.
