Danzō's Death (Revised)

As the smoke and dust cleared, a massive gray skeletal figure appeared before everyone.

"What is this?"

Fugaku Uchiha stared in shock at the unknown gray skeletal form wrapped around his body. He could feel that he was able to control it.

"With this power, I can avenge Mikoto! Danzo, die!" Fugaku Uchiha charged at Danzo, and Susanoo moved along with him.

With a wave of his hand, he sent the enemies rushing at him flying. Fugaku Uchiha's target never changed—it was Danzo. His eyes, continuously shedding bloody tears, were fixed tightly on Danzo.

"What?! It's actually Susanoo! Fugaku awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan because of his wife's death!" Though Obito Uchiha was shocked, he did not forget that he was currently playing the role of Madara Uchiha.

Susanoo?!

Shisui Uchiha's expression did not change as he watched Susanoo move in sync with Fugaku Uchiha.

So this was the Susanoo Naruto mentioned. It didn't look complete!

Outside the earthen wall, Naruto carried a blood-covered woman over her shoulder and looked at the thick barrier. She reached out and knocked on it. The sounds of battle that had been audible earlier had turned into an eerie silence after a tremendous boom.

"What happened? Looks like I missed quite a show! I hope the Uchiha Clan hasn't been wiped out yet. Amen~!" Naruto hypocritically made the sign of the cross over her chest.

Danzo's Death (Revised) (1/2)

Naruto had barely climbed onto the wall when she saw Danzo being batted around like a volleyball by a gray Susanoo she had never seen before.

"He totally deserves it! Danzo should die here!"

Naruto found it immensely satisfying. But once she noticed the person inside Susanoo, she could no longer stay calm. She had thought Shisui Uchiha would use Susanoo to lead the Uchiha Clan through this crisis, but unexpectedly, it was Fugaku Uchiha who had summoned Susanoo and was crushing Danzo.

As expected of the Uchiha Clan's patriarch. Driven by his clansmen's deaths to awaken Susanoo—damn impressive!

Looking around the battlefield, Naruto finally noticed Obito Uchiha confronting Shisui Uchiha, as well as Itachi Uchiha holding the unconscious Sasuke in one arm. Finally, Naruto saw Mikoto Uchiha lying in a pool of blood.

So that was it. His wife died—no wonder he awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan and could use Susanoo...

Crimson flames formed three rapidly spinning magatama in Susanoo's hand. Fugaku Uchiha controlled Susanoo and hurled the spinning magatama at Danzo.

"Yasakani no Magatama—!!!"

The instant the magatama struck Danzo, it transformed into an eye identical to Fugaku Uchiha's Mangekyō Sharingan. It flashed with intense light before exploding.

After the explosion, Danzo, burned black in several places, crashed heavily to the ground and spat out a mouthful of blood. Fugaku Uchiha fell to his knees in exhaustion as Susanoo vanished.

Danzo's subordinates wanted to retreat back to Konohagakure with the badly injured Danzo.

A blood-red claw formed from Chakra shot out from the ground and gripped Danzo tightly. The creaking sound of bones breaking came from inside Danzo's body, and he let out a pained scream. To Naruto, that scream sounded utterly wonderful!

"Let me hear more sounds like that!"

The ground shattered, and Naruto appeared beside Danzo with the blood-covered woman slung over her shoulder. Danzo recognized at a glance that the female ninja on Naruto's shoulder was Yakushi Nonō, whom he had sent to carry out his orders.

"She... betrayed me...?"

Danzo used all his strength to barely force out those words. He never imagined they would become the final words of his life.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk~! Wrong~! When I found this woman, she was already nearly dead. She's still half-dead now. But I learned some interesting things from her."

Naturally, Naruto could not have gotten any information from Yakushi Nonō, who was half-dead and unconscious. She said it only to anger Danzo, so he would die harboring resentment over being betrayed by his subordinate!

"Danzo, go to the other world and keep my idiot dad company! I hope you two will have something in common... hehehe..."

Naruto bared her teeth in a crazed, broken smile as she mockingly watched Danzo struggle as though he wanted to do something. Her pale finger touched his chest.

"Wind Release: Finger Gun!"

Danzo screamed as his body swelled larger and larger, like a balloon being continuously filled with air. When he exploded, he became a rain of blood. Bathed in Danzo's blood, Naruto's messy golden hair was dyed crimson.

The Curse Marks Danzo had placed on his subordinates' tongues lost their effect and vanished with the caster's death. With Danzo dead, his direct troops lost the will to continue fighting. As Danzo's tools, they had lost their reason for battle with their master's death. The cage formed by the earthen walls collapsed, and they quickly fled the area.

No one noticed that before Danzo died, the Sharingan in his right eye had closed.

Naruto looked at her hands stained with Danzo's blood as though she were in a dream. Covering her face with both hands, she burst into delighted laughter.

So this was the Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki? Why did she look like a lunatic? Minato, look at how Konohagakure turned your child into a madwoman!

Obito Uchiha watched Naruto laugh madly, narrowing his eyes as he examined her. He could not help letting out a gloating laugh before his figure gradually sank into the ground. Shisui Uchiha's attack passed through Obito Uchiha's body.

Shisui Uchiha activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, intending to use Kotoamatsukami on Obito Uchiha, but he was one step too late. Obito Uchiha's body had already transferred into the Kamui dimension, and what remained outside was merely an afterimage. Using Kotoamatsukami on an afterimage was like firing a bullet at a 3D projection—the bullet would ultimately pass straight through it.

An afterimage was still only an afterimage. Kotoamatsukami could affect Obito Uchiha and alter his will only when his body was present in this world.

Shisui Uchiha had yet to use the Kotoamatsukami in his right eye. He had originally planned to use it at the most critical moment, but instead, he had let a big fish escape. Now that Madara Uchiha had left, no one knew where he would emerge next to deliver a fatal blow to the Uchiha Clan.

The Uchiha Clan felt no joy at having repelled their enemies. Of more than two hundred clansmen, fewer than a hundred remained after this hard-fought battle. Looking at the corpses of his clansmen, the weakened Fugaku Uchiha fell silent. He did not regret making this decision. Even if they had not left Konohagakure, battle would have happened anyway.

"Naruto, why are you here?" Shisui Uchiha came before Naruto and glanced at the badly injured woman at her feet before asking.

"I left Konohagakure."

"Then what are you planning to do next? Will you come with us?"

"No."

Naruto shook her head at Shisui Uchiha's invitation.

"I'm planning to find a village to stay in for now and see whether this half-dead woman can survive." How could Naruto not recognize this woman? She was extremely important to Kabuto Yakushi. Kabuto Yakushi becoming a villain had a lot to do with her.

Yakushi Nonō, whether you survived would depend on your luck.

Naruto looked at Yakushi Nonō's pale, bloodless face and scratched her itchy hair. The dried blood had clotted in her hair, making her very uncomfortable.

They sealed their clansmen's bodies into scrolls and carried them with them, planning to give them proper burials once they reached their new home.

Fugaku Uchiha tucked the scroll containing his wife's body into his robe. He raised his head, then his vision went black and he collapsed to the ground. The scroll rolled into a nearby mound of dirt.

The backlash of using Susanoo without the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan had begun to show.

Led by Shisui Uchiha and Itachi Uchiha, the Uchiha Clan carried their grief and set out once more for Crow Mountain.

Watching the desolate backs of the Uchiha clansmen, Naruto sighed inwardly. This ending was still better than being completely annihilated like in the original story.

"Hm?"

As Naruto carried Yakushi Nonō forward, she kicked something with her foot. Looking down, she saw a scroll.

Could it be that it contained... money?!
