Seeing Mikoto Uchiha's expression darken at her words, Naruto let out a breath, as if trying to expel her anger with it. Her attitude softened slightly. "Sorry... I hope what I'm imagining hasn't happened..."
Mikoto Uchiha had cared for her like a mother these past days. No matter what, Naruto would not vent her anger on her.
Repaying kindness was a traditional Chinese virtue. Naruto had only saved her for the Uchiha Clan's money, but Mikoto Uchiha's kindness toward her came without ulterior motives. Even knowing she might be in danger, she had still refused to leave her.
If this body had not been a girl's, Naruto would have suspected that Mikoto Uchiha no longer loved Fugaku Uchiha and had fallen for her instead.
"Let's go. We're taking back Karin's mother."

"Who goes there?! Karin, you..."
Before the ninja could finish speaking, he fell under Mikoto Uchiha's genjutsu, and Naruto pierced his heart with a Finger Pistol. ÷÷

When Karin reached for the door, Naruto grabbed her hand and stopped her.

The instant Naruto pulled open the door, Yakushi Nonō covered Karin's eyes. What lay before them was something Karin absolutely could not see.
"Who are you?!"
On the operating table lay a corpse that had been mutilated beyond recognition. A person in a white coat was using a blade to cut open the corpse's skull. All the organs in its abdomen had been removed. Only the bite marks on its limbs and its faded red hair identified the corpse as Karin's mother.
"The one who'll kill you!"
A tail formed from Nine-Tails Chakra pierced through the person's body and shredded his internal organs.
Even Yakushi Nonō and Mikoto Uchiha, who had witnessed countless killings, felt sick at the bloody sight in the room. At Kotomi Uchiha's signal, Yakushi Nonō carried the constantly struggling Karin outside.
"What happened?! What did they do to my mom's corpse?! Let me go! Let go..."
Yakushi Nonō helplessly knocked out the struggling Karin, gazing heartbrokenly at the girl in her arms.
She sighed at how tragic the mother and daughter's fate had been.
With trembling hands, Mikoto Uchiha lifted the bloodstained white cloth and gently covered the mangled corpse. She took out an empty scroll, opened it, and sealed the body inside.
Looking at the organs stored in jars and bottles, Naruto could no longer suppress the fury in her heart. She clutched her head, her childish face twisting into a savage expression as veins bulged across it. Dense Nine-Tails Chakra erupted from her body.
Kusagakure... a place like this deserved to be destroyed!
"Naruto!"
The Nine-Tails looked at Naruto worriedly. It could sense that she was about to lose control.
Within her inner world, Naruto's blood-red eyes streamed with tears as she looked apologetically at the Nine-Tails.
"Nine-Tails, you might have to take the blame again this time... I can't endure it any longer! I'm going to destroy Kusagakure! I'm going to make this place disappear completely!"

"Mikoto, you, Yakushi Nonō, and Karin need to get out of here, now. Before I can no longer control my anger! Get the hell out—!"
Naruto tried desperately to calm herself and make Mikoto Uchiha leave, but she still could not suppress the rage in her heart.
A powerful shockwave spread outward. In the blink of an eye, Naruto was enveloped in the Nine-Tails' Chakra.
Mikoto Uchiha was blasted away by the shockwave as though struck by a truck. She crashed through the door behind her and slammed heavily into the wall, leaving spiderweb-like cracks across it.
On all fours in her Nine-Tails Transformation, Naruto's appearance could no longer be seen. Only dark-red Chakra wrapped around her body, five tails swaying behind her. Chakra gathered in her mouth, forming a sphere, which she swallowed in one gulp!
Boom—!
A beam cannon erupted from Naruto's mouth, instantly piercing through the building. Under the violent explosion, this iconic Kusagakure structure collapsed.
Outside the building, Mikoto Uchiha, Yakushi Nonō, and Karin stared in shock at the monstrous figure standing amid the explosion, throwing back her head and howling as she vented her rage!
White bones grew around Naruto's body. They were the bones of a fox!
"So that's the Nine-Tails..."
Mikoto Uchiha clutched her injured arm, utterly at a loss. Faced with the Nine-Tails' rampage, she could do nothing but watch. She had already ended up like this merely from being caught in the Chakra's eruption.
