Each Angel was worth a different number of points. The weakest, the Ninth Angel, only gave 800 points. That wasn't even enough for a year and a half of practice. Pretty pathetic, honestly.
After a short wait, Asuka arrived too. Unlike Huang Zhetian's steady landing, she went for an Iron Man landing. But she barely looked cool for three seconds... The command room's glass shattered. A slew of fighter planes and vehicles fell into the sea, leaving the military enthusiast Kensuke heartbroken.
What really impressed Huang Zhetian was how Asuka nearly dragged him into the water too. She lost her balance and grabbed his hand, sending him into a panic as well. He hurriedly grabbed the top of the command room, barely keeping them both from falling into the sea.
"Only you could pull that off, Asuka," Huang Zhetian teased. "Ծ‸Ծ Damn you! Once we've beaten the Angel, I'll settle this with you!" Asuka puffed out her cheeks and pouted as she snapped back.
"What are you looking at? If your thought language matched mine, I'd have been here ages ago! I wouldn't have needed this guy's help! Hmph! Idiot Shinji! Idiot Zhetian! You're both idiots!" Asuka pinned all the blame on those two idiots.
"All right, my princess. Let's fight. Once we're done, you can do whatever you want with me. Hmm?" Asuka had called Huang Zhetian an idiot, but he was delighted. In his previous life, he'd understood why so many Eva fans were willing to let Asuka insult them. And now he, Huang Zhetian, had actually gotten to enjoy it!
Wasn't this better than owning a thousand-yuan figurine?
"Hmph (｡•ˇ‸ˇ•｡) You said it! Just you wait!" Hearing Huang Zhetian's gentle tone and how he called her his princess, Asuka couldn't help feeling something strange.
My face feels a little hot... When Asuka saw Shinji staring at her, she got angry again. "What are you looking at? Get ready to fight!"
"Your face is so red... Are... you... okay? Ow!" Before Shinji could finish, Asuka hit him on the head. "Hmph! I told you to look ahead! Don't you understand? Hmph!" Asuka hurriedly checked the receiver on the other side. Good, it was switched off.
Huang Zhetian, however, heard every word, because Misato hadn't switched off her mic...
Now this was fun.
Misato played along too and didn't expose her. She immediately issued orders.
"Move out! Asuka, you're supporting Huang Zhetian. Find the Angel's core and destroy it!" Misato continued, "Huang Zhetian, remember! Your first priority is to keep the Angel occupied so Asuka and Shinji Ikari can find an opening. Unit-02 doesn't have Type B Equipment, but your Special Unit was jointly built by China and the United States, with Air-Sea Equipment built in. We're counting on you to keep it busy!"
"Roger!"

All three answered immediately. Asuka moved back, while Huang Zhetian drew a sword hilt from his back and flicked it forward, turning it into a Tang Dao. The unit's armor began to transform, changing from a flared outer shell into close-fitting armor. This would reduce water resistance during underwater combat and improve its maneuverability.
Whoosh-splash!
The Fish Angel broke through the battleships' blockade and leaped straight above the Special Unit, trying to crush the obstacle before it with its superior size.
But Huang Zhetian had practiced both in the system and in reality. He had become thoroughly familiar with this kind of move in his training simulations.
Huang Zhetian immediately deployed his A.T. Field. A polygonal pane of colored glass appeared overhead, blocking the Angel's descent.
Huang Zhetian knew the Fish Angel's core was inside its body, so he seized the opportunity and told Asuka, "I saw it! The core's inside its body." Then he shoved the Fish Angel toward the sea, sending it falling into the water again.
The Special Unit jumped in right after it, minimizing damage to the battleships and keeping the crew safe. He was going in to draw its fire.
Misato quickly came up with a plan and told the captain, "Find two battleships and have Unit-02 send them down. Before that, have Huang Zhetian pry open the Angel's mouth. Fire the shells into its body and detonate them to destroy the core." She turned to address Unit-02. "Asuka, get two evacuated battleships. Huang Zhetian will lure the Angel up, and you'll send the ships down. Line them up in a straight line. Did everyone hear that?"
"Roger!"
"Roger!"
"Roger!? How did you hear that? Didn't you switch off your receiver?" Asuka asked as she caught on.
"Sorry, I didn't switch off Misato's mic. I can hear her, so naturally I can hear you too. Haha..." Huang Zhetian explained.
"You're an idiot! Idiot Zhetian! Hmph, you'll pay for this later!" Asuka threatened.
Huang Zhetian wasn't having an easy time underwater either. With the power cable attached, it was hard to take control of the fight. He was on the back foot now and could only lure it in. His Tang Dao was a little too slow underwater. Every time he nearly slashed the Angel, its A.T. Field blocked him.
"Tch! How much longer do I have to stall?" Huang Zhetian complained.
"Almost there. Hang on a little longer," Misato reassured him.
"Using a sword underwater is a bit of a hassle. I'll put it away first." Huang Zhetian slid the sword back into his back, and a moment later, seawater was expelled from it.
This Eva was probably the first one in the old TV series equipped with Air-Sea Equipment.
Huang Zhetian glanced at the Angel still circling him a short distance away. After considering his options, he decided it was better to stay on the defensive. There was no way he could take it on alone underwater.
Clang-scrape!
Soon, the two battleships were ready. Upon receiving the message, Huang Zhetian immediately went full throttle and charged at the Fish Angel.
The Fish Angel hadn't expected Huang Zhetian to charge at it, but it showed no mercy. It opened its huge mouth and lunged in for a vicious bite!
Gurgle-whoosh!
It had bitten down on him! No! The Special Unit's arms were holding its jaws apart. It couldn't close its mouth!
"Misato! Reel in the power cable! The fish took the bait!" Huang Zhetian shouted.
"Reel it in! Unit-02, get ready! Push the battleships down. Your model can hold out for a while."
"Roger! Idiot Zhetian! Are you ready?" Asuka asked irritably.
"Ready! Hurry!" Huang Zhetian felt as though his arms were about to be crushed. Inside the cockpit, streams of LCL bubbles rose from both his arms. He shouted, gathered his breath in his lower abdomen, and forced his arms apart.
Blue light flashed across the Special Unit's two white eyes, and the Fish Angel's mouth was forced wide open. The two battleships Asuka had sent down from above were almost there!

"Move! Aah! Yah!" Inside the cockpit, Asuka and Shinji Ikari acted as one, successfully shoving the battleships into the Fish Angel's body.
"Go!" Huang Zhetian kicked the Angel downward, then used the recoil to pull Asuka up with him.
Boom-crash!! A cross-shaped column of water shot up from the sea. The Fish Angel was defeated!
Both mechs landed perfectly!
Real men never look back. Hmph! "Aah!"
He was suddenly tripped... He looked up. It was Asuka, so that was fine. Wait... "Aah!"
On the deck, Misato saw Unit-02 kicking the Special Unit, which had curled into a ball with its hands over its head.
Misato and the others covered their faces. "How embarrassing..."
"That's for being a jerk! That's for looking at me! Idiot!" Asuka kicked him as she spoke. Unit-02 stood with its hands on its hips, looking down at the Special Unit sprawled on the ground. "You'll get another helping when you come out of the cockpit!"
Next came cleaning up the mess again...
Meanwhile, Huang Zhetian sat in the cockpit, thinking. Judging by the plot, Commander Ikari must have already gotten the Adam Embryo.
