At that moment, inside the Kashgar Joint Command Center, Lin Cuo entered three names on the list of the fallen, then raised his hand and enlarged the theater map.
The BETA offensive to the northeast had not stopped with the fall of thirteen Fortress-Class creatures.
After the 7th Division's lines were breached, Tank-class, Assault-class, and Assault-class BETA spread outward along the railway branch lines and toward the ammunition depots. In five hours, a breach originally less than ten kilometers wide had become a salient extending over thirty kilometers to the northeast.
The salient was extremely dangerous, but for the first time, it also exposed a relatively weak stretch on the southwest side of the Landing Unit.
The main BETA force was pressing toward the 7th Division's remaining defensive sectors and the northern railway. The density of surface units to the south and southwest had actually fallen. Although Tank-class BETA constantly moved through the surrounding area, no large Assault-class formations were stationed there.
Lin Cuo rotated the map.
"Have the 11th India and 23rd Armored Divisions advance along both flanks of the salient. They have just one job: keep the Assault-class units that have already spread north pinned there."
A staff officer quickly marked two axes of attack. "The frontage exceeds forty kilometers. Both armored divisions will have to cross the 7th Division's defensive sector to launch their attacks."
"Have Kruger take his men and clear a route. The Hexi Divine Strategy Army's 1st Armored Group will form the second echelon on the western flank. Give the eastern flank to the 5th India Heavy Corps.
