Nova looked at the group. Despite what the man in the red tie had said, he was the one who ought to be angry right now.
"Tell me, how did you learn about the World Government's Five Elders?"
The tall man stepped two paces toward Nova and asked coldly.
"Why don't you tell me why you came here first? The Five Elders sent you here to notify me that I'm joining the World Government, didn't they?" Nova asked with a smile still on his face.
"That's right..."
"Then that's settled. Since the message has been delivered, shouldn't I, the King of Tru, offer you gentlemen a little entertainment?"
Nova spoke with an openly provocative look.
"Ho ho ho... Interesting..."
The tall man laughed.
"Seal off the palace. No one is to come and disturb my exchange with the gentlemen from the CP department."
Nova did not seem to be speaking to anyone, and no one answered.
Then Nova looked at the tall man and said, "The treasures of the Tru Kingdom are stored behind the palace. Are you gentlemen interested in taking a look? After all, this palace is the only place I live now. It would be troublesome if it got damaged."
Nova's repeated provocations had become quite obvious. One of the tall man's subordinates looked at him worriedly and whispered, "Boss, if this gets out of hand, it could affect us..."
"Hmph. No one cares about this barren corner of the South Blue!"
The tall man said disdainfully.
"Since there's no problem, please follow me..."
Nova said with a polite smile.
The rear mountain of the palace could only be reached by passing through the palace. There were no exceptions.
After all, Nova often trained there. These fellows would make decent whetstones, though he had no idea how strong they really were.
"Gogoya, you came at the right time. Notify Junhe to prepare some fruit for these CP gentlemen and have him deliver it to the rear mountain as soon as possible."
As soon as they reached the entrance to the palace hall, Gogoya suddenly appeared, prompting Nova to say this with a smile.
"Huh?" Gogoya did not understand what he meant, but Nova had already led the group in another direction. She could only murmur, "What's going on?"
But she was not stupid. She instantly realized something was wrong and used a Den Den Mushi to contact Junhe, informing him of the situation here, mainly emphasizing the fruit.
Once they passed through an archway, the scenery outside became entirely different.
This place was filled with enormous trees. Before them was a long flight of stairs leading directly to the massive platform where Nova usually trained.
It was exceptionally quiet here. There was not even the sound of birds.
Of the six CP department members behind Nova, aside from the one Nova had severely injured with a kick, who looked somewhat weak, every one of them had a look of absolute confidence in their eyes.
The platform covered more than twenty thousand square meters, more than enough space for a battle.
It was also some distance from the palace, so there was no need to worry about collateral damage.
"Where's the treasure?"
The tall man walked behind Nova. Having walked for so long, he asked impatiently.
"We haven't arrived yet. Why are you in such a hurry? Did the World Government train you to be unable to endure even this little wait?"
Nova said mockingly.
Yet none of them cared at this point. Whatever happened next was of no consequence.
Nova walked ahead along the narrow path while the others followed behind. The Cipher Pol agents were not worried in the slightest; they had complete confidence in their own strength.
Everyone had their own thoughts. Nova forcibly suppressed the anger in his heart. He was not entirely confident in facing these people, but now that things had reached this point, there was no way back.
"May I ask how I should address you?"
Nova suddenly asked curiously as he walked.
"Head of CP2, Olivia Omoro."
The tall man answered directly without refusing.
They continued walking as they talked, creating what seemed like a rather relaxed atmosphere.
"This king really talks too much. Where's the treasure?"
The man in the red tie asked impatiently.
"Wait a moment. Have some fruit first..."
As soon as he finished speaking, Junhe appeared on the plaza with several people carrying all kinds of fruit.
"Your Majesty, the items you requested..."
Junhe stood respectfully beside Nova and said.
"Take them down. Do not come back up without orders..."
"But, Your Majesty..."
"No buts. Follow orders!"
Nova abruptly turned his head, staring at Junhe with a grim expression as he spoke coldly.
"Yes, Your Majesty..."
Helpless, Junhe bowed and prepared to leave.
"I never expected such a tiny Tru Kingdom to have so many experts. It seems we'll need to send people from other CP departments to take a look."
The man in the red tie said to Nova with a smile.
"Wait until you gentlemen leave this place before saying that..."
Nova's voice was no longer as it had been before. With his back to them, his face was filled with rage.
As his words fell, he stomped his right foot. A sky-blue barrier immediately rose around the entire plaza.
"A Devil Fruit?"
The tall man looked at the barrier rising around them with curiosity, but there was not the slightest concern in his tone.
One of the members even ran to the edge of the barrier to test it. After launching an attack, it vanished like a stone sinking into the sea, without causing the slightest ripple.
"Boss, this barrier is strange..."
After hearing this, the tall man merely revealed a sinister smile. He did not appear particularly surprised.
"King of Tru, what do you mean by this? Are you trying to start a war with our CP department?"
The man in the red tie demanded.
Nova slowly turned around to face them. A faint, ambiguous smile hung on his lips as he said in a teasing tone, "You really have an interesting way of putting things. You came to Tru King's Palace, did nothing at all, and yet killed so many of our soldiers. Do you truly believe that the entire world can be controlled by your World Government as you please?"
"Then why waste so many words?"
The smile on the red-tied man's face instantly turned cold. Countless bubbles began to emerge from his body, and under his control, all of them flew toward Nova.
The others simply continued watching quietly.
Nova remained calm, with a faint smile on his face. He did not take the man in the red tie seriously at all.
