Zhixin's Imminent Arrival

On the outskirts of the Angel Nebula, somewhere.

Angel Zhixin arrived here with a small squad of angel warriors. They were all angel warriors tasked with protecting Enixide in the Frazer Galaxy, and they had withdrawn from the Frazer Galaxy after receiving Queen Keisha's orders.

Their figures paused when they reached the border of the Angel Nebula.

Zhixin was handing over her duties. Although they had withdrawn on Queen Keisha's orders, they still needed to report on their work during the mission when they returned to Amagi!

Zhixin had previously received a message from her teacher, Queen Hexi. Hexi told her to immediately rendezvous with Angel Yan and observe a male god named Su Luo, so she had to hand over her duties and find someone to report to the Queen in her place.

Zhixin was somewhat puzzled by Hexi's message, but she did not resist her teacher's orders. After all, she knew that, given how much her teacher doted on her, Hexi would never harm her!

What puzzled her was why her teacher had seemed so urgent when sending the message. Even on her way back to the Angel Nebula, her teacher had repeatedly urged her on.

Watching the angel squad that had completed the handover fly toward the Merlot Heavenly Court, Zhixin—who had been urged along by Hexi all the way—finally had time to calm down and think as she remained behind, preparing to head to Angel Yan's location and rendezvous with her.

As Zhixin flew toward the coordinates Hexi had sent her for Angel Yan's location, she silently recalled her teacher's earlier communication.

First, Queen Keisha had ordered her to withdraw with her people. Then, not long afterward, her teacher sent a message ordering her to immediately head to Angel Yan's location, take over Angel Yan's current mission, and approach and observe a male god named Su Luo.

Because both Queen Keisha and her teacher had been in such a hurry, Zhixin had not given it much thought. She had simply led her team onward, doing her best to return to the Angel Nebula in the shortest possible time.

But now that she had finally returned to the Angel Nebula and was nearly at Angel Yan's location, Zhixin finally had some free time—and more time to think.

When someone had nothing to do, they always liked thinking about all sorts of random things. Ordinary people were like that, and so were angels.

So Zhixin focused her attention on Su Luo.

"Su Luo... who is he?"

Zhixin connected to the Sacred Knowledge Repository and looked up information about Su Luo.

Very quickly, Su Luo's limited records appeared before Zhixin.

"Mm, identity unknown, origin... suspected to be another universe?"

Looking at the Sacred Knowledge Repository's description of Su Luo, Zhixin blinked her large eyes, her adorably blank little face filled with surprise.

"He came here from another universe?"

"That means he came from the universe he knew into one that might be completely unknown to him? Wasn't he afraid?"

With those thoughts in mind, Zhixin continued reading the relevant information.

She opened the video records. When she saw that this male god named Su Luo had not been the least bit afraid upon first appearing in this universe—though according to him, he had merely thought he had entered a game—

after confirming that he really had arrived in a new world, he had only been somewhat dejected, along with the caution one ought to have, but not... afraid.

Watching Su Luo's performance in the video records, Zhixin instinctively developed a favorable impression of this male god whom her teacher had told her to approach and observe!

Having arrived in an unfamiliar universe, in a strange place where he knew no one, facing an unpredictable future, he still showed no fear and remained positive. This male god from another universe... was truly brave!

Zhixin herself admired and longed for brave male gods. Seeing such behavior from one naturally made her feel favorably toward him!

There was not much information on Su Luo. After all, he had not been in this universe for long, so the observable information was indeed limited. Thus, Zhixin did not spend much time reviewing everything Su Luo had revealed since arriving in this universe.

After reviewing the records, and combining them with the actions of her Queen and teacher, Zhixin could more or less guess what was going on.

Queen Keisha had previously said that Enixide was the Angel Civilization's heir to the throne, as calculated by the Sacred Knowledge Repository. Therefore, from the moment the Sacred Knowledge Repository's result was produced, the Angel Civilization had dispatched multiple batches of angels to Frazer to secretly protect and guide Enixide's growth. It was clear that the Queen placed great importance on Enixide.

Yet this time, the Queen had ordered her to take away all the angel warriors in the Frazer Galaxy... all of them! It was not as though angels sent to the Frazer Galaxy had never withdrawn before! Their missions rotated; at regular intervals, a new angel squad would replace the members of the previous squad, and the replaced squad would withdraw!

But that was only after the handover was complete, ensuring that Enixide was always under someone's protection!

This time... the Queen had not sent anyone to take over at all. It was as though she had already abandoned Enixide as the heir to the throne.

If she considered that question alone, Zhixin might not have understood. But with Su Luo, this visitor from another universe, added to the equation, Zhixin more or less understood! As a genius, Zhixin's mind was exceptionally sharp!

Queen Keisha had likely calculated a better outcome. Rather than choosing the future in which Enixide became the heir to the throne, she had chosen another future connected to Su Luo.

In other words, Su Luo was now the angels' future?

At that thought, Zhixin furrowed her brows. She was a little confused.

If Queen Keisha had established Su Luo as the angels' future, then even if an angel were to be sent to observe and approach Su Luo, it should have been Queen Keisha who gave the order, right? Why had her teacher messaged her, repeatedly urged her on, and told her to immediately take over Angel Yan's mission to approach and observe Su Luo?

Zhixin sorted through her thoughts and pondered.

First, she ruled out one possibility: her teacher absolutely was not trying to cause trouble. In other words, Queen Keisha knew about her teacher's instructions to her. After all, if the angels' future was involved, Queen Keisha would not allow anyone to act recklessly! Neither would her teacher!

Once that possibility was ruled out, it was easy to guess.

Queen Keisha knew about her teacher's arrangements, which meant Queen Keisha had tacitly approved of Hexi sending her to approach and observe Su Luo—and immediately, at that!

Su Luo was the future, and she was being sent to observe and approach that future...

That meant... both Queen Keisha and Queen Hexi believed she was the most suitable candidate to become this male god's guardian angel...

At that thought, Zhixin inexplicably blushed. Having read Su Luo's information, she did not reject him at all. She could even say that she liked him quite a bit.

Zhixin shook her head, stopping herself from letting her imagination run wild, and adjusted her train of thought.

"But if Queen Keisha knows and approves, why didn't Queen Keisha notify me herself?"

Zhixin frowned and fell into deep thought. This truly was a problem. Once Su Luo had been confirmed as the future, arrangements regarding Su Luo's guardian angel would inevitably be decided by the Angel King, the supreme existence who controlled the Angel Civilization...

Wait, Zhixin seemed to realize something.

Enixide had previously existed as the heir to the throne, which meant the Queen had actually intended to abdicate.

Even if the Queen had confirmed Su Luo as the future, Su Luo would not become the new Queen. At the very least, before a new male angel appeared in the Angel Civilization, the ruler of the Angel Civilization would still be a female angel... but Enixide had now been abandoned...

So... when Queen Keisha confirmed Su Luo as the future, had she also changed the successor she had chosen for the next throne?

Then... who was the new successor chosen by the Queen?

Zhixin blinked as she thought, continuing to fly with her head lowered.
