Alien Yapool had used his schemes to seal Shinji and Zero together in another dimension. With that, the first step of his plan was complete.
"Misato's" eyes glowed red.
"I have to admit, that fellow picked quite a good host." Alien Yapool looked in the mirror.
She waved her hand, and the space before her shattered, revealing the other dimension within. She surveyed her Super Beasts:
"Zero Killer and the Super Beasts are almost finished. Excellent."
Hayato had told him about the NERV base and the testing schedule, including the fact that Glenfire and Mirror Knight of the Zero Guard were currently unable to fight.
An evil plan took shape in Alien Yapool's mind.
"Now that Zero is locked away, the only threat left should be that boy, Kaworu Nagisa."
"No, he's both human and an Angel. That makes things even more interesting."
Alien Yapool had intended to go straight to the NERV base through another dimension, but he decided to drive there instead to avoid attracting attention.
"Misato" easily passed through NERV's Alien Detector. It couldn't detect her.
Imitating Misato's personality did give him something of a headache, but he managed to handle it.
Rei Ayanami arrived at the base for the test, but when she didn't see Shinji, she asked in confusion:
"Where's Ikari?"
She knew her older brother would never be late, especially for training.
"Misato" said quite naturally, "Zero said he was taking Shinji to investigate that other dimension. He asked me to tell you."
"He said it was urgent, so he didn't have time to let you know himself."
"Those two idiots ran off on another adventure. No wonder that idiot Shinji didn't even send me a good morning message," Asuka took the opportunity to complain.
Though they had their doubts, Misato's explanation made sense,
