Dark Zero slowly rolled his neck, producing faint cracks. His scarlet eyes stayed fixed on Belial, the ferocity in his gaze almost tangible. Belial was unarmed now-the perfect moment to launch a furious assault.

Without warning, Dark Zero dropped low and drove his right leg against the ground, blasting the darkness beneath his feet apart like rippling water. He became a straight, dark arrow, launching into the air with the classic opening stance of the Zero Flying Kick. He drew his right foot back, gathering power as dark red destructive energy surged around his entire leg, wrapping it in a dazzling crimson glow. Tearing through the air with a piercing shriek, he hurtled straight at Belial's face!
"Get out of the way, Mr. Belial!" Shinji cried out. He knew all too well how powerful that strike was.
Yet Belial did not retreat. Instead, fierce fighting spirit flared in his eyes. "A flying kick? Heh... let's see whose leg is tougher!"
He bent his knees and launched himself upward too, but rather than meeting the attack from below, he leaped along a perfectly parallel trajectory to reach Zero's height. Their figures streaked through the air in two dazzling trails of red and black, and time seemed to freeze.

Two flying kicks powerful enough to pulverize an asteroid collided head-on in midair, each wrapped in an opposing but equally violent energy!
At the instant of impact, an enormous sphere of dark red and blazing white energy swelled and exploded! A terrifying spherical shock wave spread wildly outward, churning the darkness throughout the space into a boiling mire. Blinding light swallowed the moment, followed by a deafening explosion that sounded as though space itself were crying out.
