Bruce and Me: Becoming the Shield Hero in Another World

Chuan Wenwu is as capable with his brains as he is with his fists, and loyal to his friends through and through. Those who know him well call him Little Chuan; those who appreciate his spirit call him Brother Chuan.

After gaining admission to the Fusang Campus of Huaxia National Defense University, located in the directly administered municipality of Fusang, Chuan Wenwu decides to use his vacation to get an early look at his future surroundings-with his trusty pal Bruce, his big yellow dog, in tow.

While the two are out for a stroll in Tokyo's Little Basin Square, Bruce digs up a strange book titled The Records of the Four Cardinal Weapons.

As golden light flashes from its pages, Chuan Wenwu and Bruce are summoned to another world-and he becomes the Shield Hero, whose story in the book is nothing but blank pages!

Follow one man and one dog as they write their very own story in another world!

P.S. Since I don't know how to write an original story, I'm trying my hand at fanfiction instead. My writing skills still need work, so the main storyline will broadly follow the original plot (you can understand it even if you're unfamiliar with The Rising of the Shield Hero). Still, I'll do my best to weave in my own ideas. Thanks for bearing with me!
