Only Tamayo, Yushiro, and the Little Demon lurking in the shadows remained in the laboratory.
Tamayo immediately threw herself into her experiments. She picked up a slender silver needle, pricked her finger without hesitation, and squeezed a drop of dark red demon blood into a clear petri dish.
Next, she used a dropper to draw a little strangely gleaming liquid from a small glass bottle covered in complicated labels, then carefully added it to the drop of blood.
She leaned over the microscope to observe the changes in the dish. Yushiro stood quietly beside her, his eyes full of admiration and concern, ready to hand her any tools or notebooks she needed.
"Miss Tamayo, how is it?" Yushiro asked softly, afraid of disturbing her observations.
Tamayo raised her head, a trace of satisfaction on her face.
"Yes, this batch of samples has stabilized. Its reversal effect on demon blood is very clear!" She pointed at the microscope.
"Look here. The changes in cellular activity should be greater than anything we recorded last time. Yushiro, bring me Experiment Logbook No. 3. We need to cross-check last week's key data."
"Yes, Lady Tamayo!" Yushiro answered immediately, his face glowing with the joy of serving her. He turned and hurried toward the filing cabinet.
Under the table, the Little Demon seized the opportunity to peek out, scanning the densely packed bottles and jars on the laboratory table.
If the Reversal Drug is the liquid Tamayo just added... then where's the Aging Poison? Which one is the poison? There are so many bottles... damn it! Up on the mountain, Nameless was growing anxious.
Soon, Yushiro returned with the logbook. Tamayo took it and carefully leafed through it, comparing the entries with what she saw under the microscope as she diligently recorded the new data
