Naruto Uzumaki opened his eyes blankly and rubbed his temples with his fingers. As he traced back that dream, it felt as though he had gone through a painful journey through time.

Only after he had completely forgotten that dream did his mind seem to grow lighter, and he finally returned to normal.

Naruto Uzumaki looked at the Special Jonin lying on the ground. "Someone like you only wants to teach children with exceptional bloodlines so you can earn the reputation of being the Hokage's teacher. How could you possibly care about ordinary students?"

Why did this Ebisu fellow sound as though he was actually willing to believe that the Demon Fox Kid would become Hokage?

One ninja could not help asking the Medical Ninja beside him, "Doctor, may I ask... if someone is struck by an extremely powerful jutsu, could it affect a ninja's intelligence?"

"In theory, that is possible."

The Medical Ninja nodded solemnly. Looking at the battered Ebisu before him, he said softly, "Judging from his injuries, the possibility is not low."

Konoha's back mountain.

Hiruzen Sarutobi stood in the loose clothes he wore at home, a pipe in his mouth as he leisurely observed the recent battlefield.
