After praising March 7th, Stelle turned to the Doppelganger and asked:
"Why did you sneak off and unleash a sun?"
How could you leave me out of something that flashy?
"Something came up," the Doppelganger said flatly. "I had to act."
He brushed it off with those few words, apparently unwilling to explain what had happened.
Among them, the ever-calm and levelheaded Welt did not ask Chu Mu what had happened after hearing this. Instead, he sighed.
"The Xianzhou is in a precarious position. With this fragile balance, every faction is extremely sensitive to any unexpected development. Making such a spectacle was a declaration that you've officially entered the game."
"That's why I'll be staying with you from now on," the Doppelganger said evenly. "You're already caught up in this. With me helping, you'll have a better chance of winning."
"That works too." Welt nodded. "Chu Mu, welcome to this Trailblaze mission."
As the leader of this mission, Welt made the decision on the spot. Naturally, Stelle and March 7th had no objections.
No objections? They were positively thrilled!
Next, Chu Mu worked out a few details with the three of them.
For instance, although Chu Mu was joining the Trailblaze team, he could not drop his Green Pheobe disguise just yet, so everyone would need to play along.
Everyone understood. March 7th even took out a little notebook and wrote it down right there.
As far as they were concerned, Chu Mu simply did not want to reveal his identity on the Xianzhou.
After all, the Xianzhou was Yaoshi's sworn enemy and the home base of The Hunt.
And what was Chu Mu's relationship with Yaoshi?
What was more, Chu Mu had taken an arrow from The Hunt. For all they knew, there was already bad blood between them.
