"Silver Wolf, found anything?" Kafka's voice rang out.
"There are heat signatures. Looks like they're alive." Silver Wolf stood atop the ship, with a heavy machine gun mounted beside her.
She lowered the thermal imager in her hands and said flatly:
"Want me to fire a burst to make sure? They could be undead with heartbeats."
"We still have to stay here. Don't mess around like that." Kafka shook her head.
"I know. I just wanted to scare them." Silver Wolf jumped down from the ship. "Dungeon update: zombie horde defense has changed to a mystery investigation."
As she spoke, she glanced around and asked:
"Where's Chu Mu? He was just here."
Kafka said:
"A-Mu has already gone over there."
"Are you kidding me?" Silver Wolf frowned at Kafka. "He's still blind."
"But even in that state, he killed two people all by himself in Belobog's Underworld." Kafka wore a faint smile. "A-Mu follows the path of the Hunt and can turn invisible. He also seems capable of pinpointing people's positions by sound. I've never seen him bump into anything. He's been hiding that from me, but I still noticed. Perhaps it's an enhancement to his organs from Abundance?"
"He really kept that well hidden." Silver Wolf's brow relaxed. "The Hunt and Abundance-with those two powers combined, his future will either be incredibly bright, or..."
Silver Wolf paused and said no more.
"I know what you're thinking. That Ambrosial Arbor seed alone makes him an Abomination of Abundance, one of the highest order, yet he's been blessed by the Hunt. The two are in a delicate balance."
