"This human... why won't he die...?"

ULB propped herself up with a bone, utterly exhausted.

Killer, on the other hand, wasn't tired.

"Kindhearted me who's a little taller than I am, if you're tired, go take a break. Leave the rest to Murder and me."

"..."

Murder silently took out the device ▇▇▇ had given him earlier from inside his clothes.

At once, a projection of ▇▇▇ appeared beside Murder.

"Sans, you've run into trouble, haven't you?"

Murder nodded and pointed at the human.

"He seems impossible to kill."

▇▇▇ lightly held his chin, as though examining something.

After a while, he smiled and offered his conclusion.

"This guy's HP has been modified. It's currently 128/999."

No wonder. To see more novel things, this guy had actually resorted to cheats, like some hacker.

Murder genuinely despised people like that.

"So... how do we deal with him?"

Just as ▇▇▇ was about to offer a solution, something suddenly changed on the battlefield.

The human no longer seemed satisfied with a simple HP cheat. Despite Killer and Murder blocking his way, he slashed straight at ULB.

"What the fuck, an attack through obstacles??!"

Killer looked back at ULB in surprise, only to see a few English words displayed above her.

NO EFFECT.

"No effect?"

Murder was a little surprised too. What was going on? Had the system punished the human for cheating?

Suddenly, ▇▇▇'s figure began to flicker, and his words became garbled.

Murder listened closely to ▇▇▇, but could only make out a few scattered fragments.

"There's-... I... interference... -his... HP--"

Before he could finish, ▇▇▇'s projection vanished.

"There are two kinds of people I hate most. One is people who stop halfway through what they're saying,"

Murder tucked the device back into his clothes and fixed his gaze on the human again.

Just as Murder and Killer were about to resume their deadly battle with the human, ULB suddenly spoke.

"I'm very grateful for your help, both of you."

"Hm?"

"Huh?"

Murder and Killer froze at the same time. That voice didn't sound like the girl from before. It sounded more like... ▇▇▇?!

They both turned around. At some point, ULB's head had quietly drooped.

The murderous atmosphere around them grew ever more intense, and darkness shrouded the entire room.

"Dark, darker, yet darker."

Those words resurfaced in Murder's mind. They described the situation before him perfectly.

▇▇▇'s voice continued.

"But this Sans has disappointed me greatly. She seems to have failed to seize any of the opportunities I gave her."

"Hey, I can hear you."

ULB suddenly raised her head, helplessness visible in her eyes.

"Regardless, human."

ULB's head suddenly lowered again.

"For a peaceful, beautiful world to come into being,"

Moonlight spilled over ULB as she slowly raised her head. The entire timeline began to fall apart at that moment.

"You must be eradicated."

Murder and Killer's eyes were filled with indescribable shock.

By then, not a trace of light remained in ULB's eyes. They were filled entirely with chaotic particles of white code. Two eerie cracks had appeared, one on the upper right side of her face and the other on the lower left. Her mouth hung slightly open, revealing the depths of the void within.

Bang!!!! Bang!!!! Bang!!!! Bang!!!!

Four blasts rang out in succession. Murder belatedly looked at the human and discovered that he seemed to have lost the ability to select actions-something Murder learned by checking through ACT.

At that moment, the player in front of the screen gaped. This part wasn't in the story before, was it?

In his previous playthroughs of the humanized ULB game, Gaster's immense difficulty usually forced him to enable Debug during phase three. But now, he couldn't enable Debug at all!

Besides Debug, he discovered that his HP was no longer as absurdly high as before. Now, he had only -1/1 HP left.

-1/1?

The human raised his head in confusion, finding himself face-to-face with ULB's white-code-flickering face at extremely close range.
