"You mean-"

Killer stared at Insanity in surprise.

"You're planning to come with us to seek redemption?!"

Killer had already found it strange. Insanity had clearly intended to reset her own timeline, only to stop just before pressing the button.

Then she had even asked Killer to help with the reset while she went off to another timeline herself.

So that was why.

"Killer, quiet down."

Murder pushed Killer's head down.

"You... aren't going to stay in your own timeline?"

"No."

Insanity shook her head.

"There... aren't any humans left here."

(Killer had permanently killed them as an afterthought before the reset.)

"A lunatic like me... can't wash away the sins I committed... with some casual reset."

"Besides, didn't that corn chip Sans just make a deal with all of us?"

"I want to come with you and do everything I can to help."

"After all... you were dragged into this conflict out of nowhere, even though it had nothing to do with you. You were even forced to sign away your freedom."

Killer pulled Murder down from below and stepped up herself.

"Sure! That gives us another teammate."

During the battle earlier, Killer had also watched Insanity closely.

She had to admit, this girl was pretty impressive in a fight.

And she wasn't as crazy as that thing she had seen before (meaning Insanity under normal circumstances).

Having her join the team would give them another helping hand.

Besides... there was one point Insanity had made that she really agreed with.

The part about signing away their freedom.

The feast that Sans had said would take place in the future would surely require all three of them to attend.

In other words, Insanity still wouldn't truly be able to live a normal life.

She might as well join them and form a mysterious band of miserable souls who had signed away their freedom.

In a group like that, Killer would definitely take first place.

After all, this was already the third time she had signed such an unfair contract.

The first had been with a human.

The second had been with Octopus.

The third had been with the corn chip.

"All right, let's go!"

That not-so-distant future hadn't arrived yet, anyway. Making the most of the present to help other worlds was the way to go.

Killer opened a rift in spacetime and very politely let the other two go first.

"Killer, you look like one of those elevator operators right now."

Murder really had a way with words. That compliment made Killer grit her teeth.

"Heh... hehe..."

███ lay in the darkness of the void, with a vast amount of data set out nearby.

"Bill Sans...?"

Thinking back to what had just happened, ███ began to see certain things in a new light.

"Maybe I could give it a try..."

Taking a pen and paper in hand, ███ began drawing up a new blueprint.

ULB lay slumped over the sentry station, lazily catching up on sleep.

"SANS!! IS THIS REALLY THE TIME TO SLEEP?!! YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT LAZINESS OF YOURS!!!"

Papyrus's voice rang out from far away, but ULB didn't respond.

A faint smile appeared on her face.

A peaceful Underground was the best thing she could ask for.

She could see a living, breathing Papyrus.

She could see snowflakes drifting down.

She could see two other versions of herself in the corridor.

"...Huh? Wait."

ULB rubbed her eyes and took a careful look in front of her.

There really were two other versions of herself who looked exactly like her.

Except one of them wore a very grim expression, and the blue and yellow in her pupils spilled out uncontrollably.

At that moment, all three stood in the corridor.

The other two versions of herself didn't look much happier, either. The three stared blankly at one another.

"I've... crossed over again..."

ULB was speechless. In just a few days, she had already met several versions of herself.

"And then... that human will show up in a little while..."
