Ye Yu died again and returned to the Void Space. Unlike before, when he would analyze the fight, this time he pressed [Continue] without hesitation.

These three monsters had already defeated him several times in a row.

Unexpectedly, the one who kept knocking him down was neither of the two monsters with atavistic powers, but North Star, who wielded a Gatling heavy machine gun.

This gunslinger, whose aim was hardly precise, had become absolutely terrifying now that he had a gun capable of spraying bullets!

This time, just as expected, North Star once again raised the dark muzzle of his gun and aimed at Ye Yu.

Every five levels, LOVE brought about a drastic transformation.

When LOVE reached 5, a person's mind would gradually begin to blur; once it rose to 10, intense bloodlust would completely consume their thoughts...

And when it reached 15, all their past combat experience could be transformed into cold, merciless killing techniques, turning them into a brutal slaughtering machine through and through.

Although their power itself would not increase much, their techniques would become far more refined, and their bloodlust would rise exponentially.

According to the records in Snowdin's library, the greater one's bloodlust, the more damage one could inflict on monsters. Thus, Ye Yu could now instantly kill any monster his blade struck!

"How... are we supposed to win...?" Martlet looked helplessly at Ceroba. "Every time he dies... he starts over..."

Ceroba smiled in acceptance. "It's all right. We were doomed to lose from the start. At least we defeated him plenty of times, didn't we?"

Then Ye Yu broke through the two monsters' dense barrages and charged at them...

Linde woke from his dream, immediately activated the Eye of Truth, and asked Chara, "What's happening now?"

"He just killed those monsters from the yellow soul period," Chara said flatly. "You told me ages ago that he didn't leave a single monster alive back then..."

Linde reluctantly took out a Spell Card. "Looks like I can't give this to Ceroba anymore... Oh well. Chara, can you do me another favor?"

Leaning against the still-drowsy Frisk, Chara shrugged. "Who do you want to give it to?"

"Hmm... Let me think... Sans."

Axis emitted a series of humming signals, then self-destructed, blasting the unsuspecting Ye Yu down to a sliver of health.

His LOVE rose to 17.

Just then, Ye Yu suddenly sensed something strange. Without the slightest hesitation or even turning his head, he swung the long blade in his hand fiercely behind him.

A loud clang rang out, and sparks instantly flew.

"Oh, that really hurt..." Mettaton NEO cried out in pain, instinctively reaching up to touch the shallow mark the blade had left across her chest.

When she raised her head, her gaze met Ye Yu's astonished eyes.

"What, didn't you know NEO's body was famous for its high defense?" The corners of Mettaton NEO's mouth lifted into a faintly mocking smile.

She silently rejoiced that Alphys had fitted her with this incredibly tough steel shell beforehand. Otherwise, that strike might well have killed her.

With that thought, Mettaton NEO wasted no more time. She swiftly activated the powerful engines installed in her legs and, with a roar, shot straight into the sky like a cannonball.

At the same time, countless bombs, bricks, and all sorts of tiny robots rained down on Ye Yu below.

Ye Yu looked up at Mettaton NEO hovering in midair. His once black-and-white eyes had turned entirely blood-red, and the intense bloodlust surging deep within him poured out without end.

Unfortunately, a robot fused with a ghost was not, strictly speaking, a true monster, so the boost his bloodlust granted to his attack power was completely ineffective now.
