Su Er helped expose Voldemort’s trap at the Ministry, where Dumbledore revealed Voldemort’s return to the wizarding world. As Dementors and Death Eaters spread danger, Su Er accepted a teaching post and prepared to join the fight, ending with Sirius summoning him on a mission to rescue Ollivander.

• Su Er helped Hermione and Harry reach the Ministry, where the Order ambushed the Death Eaters and Su Er defended Harry from Dolohov and Voldemort.
• Dumbledore confronted Voldemort at the Ministry, but Voldemort escaped with the Prophecy Orb and Fudge acknowledged his return.
• Dumbledore explained that the prophecy had already come true and reinstated himself as Hogwarts headmaster.
• After Emmeline Vance was killed and Dementors attacked Muggle neighborhoods, Su Er urged his family and the Grangers to leave Britain.
• Su Er drove Dementors away from the Ellisons’ neighbors, but Hermione refused to leave the country with her family.
• Su Er accepted Dumbledore’s offer to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts and planned practical lessons while Harry and the others trained over the summer.

• Sirius told Su Er that Death Eaters had captured Ollivander, gave him Harry’s Invisibility Cloak, and summoned him on a rescue mission.

Su Er rescued Ollivander, became Hogwarts’ new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, and witnessed Dumbledore’s death before helping move Harry to safety. He then met the surviving Grindelwald, learned about Dumbledore’s soul and the ritual, and returned to warn Hermione that Snape’s apparent betrayal served Dumbledore’s plan.

• Su Er rescued Ollivander from Malfoy Manor, then took up the Defense Against the Dark Arts post and began teaching practical lessons at Hogwarts.
• Su Er helped investigate Katie Bell’s cursed necklace, celebrated Christmas with Hermione, and witnessed Dumbledore and Snape discuss Draco’s task and Dumbledore’s plan.
• Draco’s confrontation with Harry led to Dumbledore’s death at the Astronomy Tower, and Su Er attended Dumbledore’s funeral.
• Su Er and Hermione attended Lupin and Tonks’s wedding, then Su Er joined the operation to move Harry from the Dursleys’ home as Death Eaters attacked.
• After Su Er and the others reached safety, George and Sirius arrived wounded, and Su Er suspected Voldemort had gone after Grindelwald and the Elder Wand.
