Natasha was rescued by Ariana, Banner, and the three bears as Ultron launched his plan to raise Sokovia. As John helped Martha navigate the evacuation, he sensed Wanda’s magic and tracked the chaos particles to a building where they were being blocked.
The Avengers fought to stop Ultron’s rising city while John confronted a lookalike called Jonathan. Frey mistook John for Yardani, then rejected him as an impostor as the Insurgents began their rebellion.
War Machine and Ariana helped protect Sokovia’s evacuation while the Avengers fought Ultron, but Vision lost control of the Mind Stone and unleashed devastating blasts. Vision opened his eyes after the final explosion, revealing a dragon’s eyes.
A ruthless Vision overwhelmed the Avengers, forcing them to destroy the device powering the city while Wanda held him back. The city exploded, but Vision survived and killed Thor before turning his beam on the white bear as time stopped.
John Wick confronted a Vision who revealed that he came from another universe and had seized control after the Avengers defeated Thanos. Their battle escalated as Vision adapted to magic, and he challenged John to a wizard's duel.
John defeated Vision and seized control of his body, but the Mind Stone rejected him as he prepared to destroy the city. Jonathan confronted him, and the chapter left their duel unresolved as Eleanor entered the forbidden Laboratory.
Wanda was rescued by Aurors, who identified her as a Lost Wizard and put her to sleep while they prepared to protect the city from Sokovia’s falling wreckage. In the ruins, John discovered Frey had used Vampire-Blocking Blood to restrict his magic, but he stabbed her and declared that only a Wizard King could kill a Wizard King.
Jonathan and his allies killed John by using a bullet that bypassed his defenses, while the falling city left Frey dying from her wounds. Frey saw the White Wolf in a strange white space as their fates met.
Frey died after realizing that the Throne was not the man she had loved, while Jonathan explained that he had changed his mind out of revenge and grief. As Sokovia fell, the Wizard King used the Wand to reverse the destruction and restore the city, leaving Martha alive and promising her an answer.
After surviving the Godslayer's bullet through his undying heart, John learned why Jonathan had come to this world and watched him leave to pursue the person who cursed his wife. As wizards rebuilt Sokovia, the world turned its attention to them as humanity's saviors.
MOSS relayed that Wanda and Hulk had been taken away by magic while Thor and Vision remained in Sokovia, as the Wizard King’s Silencers arrived to escort Ariana. In the city, John destroyed the Mind Stone’s cross-dimensional coordinates, and Fiona announced that the Wizarding Kingdom would formally join the United Nations.
John confronted Dreamwalker in the Dreamscape and learned that his double had orchestrated events to test whether John would take his place or let him continue watching. After John passed the trial, Thor woke in Wizard City and saw its bustling streets.
Thor and Wanda explored Wizard City with Miss Borgin, received Wanda’s Magic Card, and learned that Hulk had been taken to Knockturn Alley after being invited there. They left the Hit Wizards’ base to find him.
John returned to Wizard City and proclaimed the Wizard King’s return, prompting a citywide celebration. As the wizards welcomed him, Daphne Greengrass heard his call and stepped onto the ship’s deck.
John reunited with Hagrid, Lockhart, and the Zouwu before bringing Thor and the others to a palace to introduce them to the Wizarding Kingdom. The chapter ended as Percy Weasley and Penelope Weasley arrived at the banquet.
Penelope and Percy welcomed guests to a gathering in the wizarding city, where Wanda struggled to feel at home and John revealed that the Vision Thor had seen was not him. Meanwhile, the Avengers monitored the sleeping Vision and searched for Thor, until Tony learned that Mjolnir had been detected in the North Atlantic.
Thor and Hagrid drank together while Mjolnir caused chaos at Dragon Castle, and Wanda entered the Stars Society, where she reunited with John and met his old friends. The gathering left the members together again after fifteen years of change.
Cross successfully shrank a living sheep and told Hope he would soon surpass Hank Pym, while Scott Lang began a burglary under Hank Pym’s surveillance. At the Stars Society, John proposed bringing the Wizarding Kingdom into the outside world and named Wanda as one of the two people needed to begin.
John selected Wanda Maximoff as a spokesperson and offered to teach her ancient magic so she could control her abilities, then chose Gilderoy Lockhart as another spokesperson. After the Stars Society reunited for a toast, skeletal riders appeared over the Jovanovich Estate, signaling a new threat.
Wraithlike elven knights appeared across the world, while John struggled with whether he was truly the same person his friends remembered. John sent Thor beyond the Wizarding Kingdom’s mist to retrieve Mjolnir, and the Wild Hunt’s arrival showed that the Conjunction of the Spheres’ troubles continued.
The Jovanovic family learned that mysterious wraiths were hunting witchers and possibly magic users, so they set out for New York to find Natasha. In New York, Robert escaped an attack and burned the taxi to erase his identity.
Lockhart prepared for an interview about his new book and his loyalty to the Wizard King, while John brought Wanda to a place where she could access any magic. Wanda agreed to join the Avengers and began absorbing the knowledge in a mysterious book before John left her behind.
Daphne reunited with John but left without addressing their unresolved feelings, while Wanda returned to the Avengers and Hulk stayed in the Wizarding Kingdom. A month later, Professor McGonagall visited John because wraiths had appeared in the Forbidden Forest.
John traveled to Hogwarts, meeting Percy Weasley’s daughter Stella on the Sea Train and overwhelming her with lessons on magic and potions. At King’s Cross, Stella argued with Draco’s daughter before boarding the Hogwarts Express, while John prepared to follow.
John returned to Hogwarts as a guest professor, reuniting with the staff and startling students with his power and reputation. The chapter ended with John greeting the school and reflecting on his return.
