After killing Tiamut, John discussed his coming trial with Thor, Tony, and Stephen, then rebuilt Kamar-Taj’s barrier with a deliberate weak spot to funnel other-dimensional invaders. The new barrier enveloped Earth, and the other dimensions discovered its apparent weakness.
John visited Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, where Fred and George gave him free merchandise and posed for a photo, before helping Hagrid prepare for his wedding to Madame Maxime. Hagrid received advice and a new outfit, but he remained bewildered by the many preparations as the wedding approached.
John continued experimenting on the last Deviant while preparing for an approaching cosmic judgment. The Eternals reached the World Forge as a small snake entered their stored memories, and John crossed into a mysterious sanctum at the edge of the universe.
John faced Eternity for killing a Celestial and offered his life as payment, while Little Snake sabotaged the World Forge and John sent the Eternals to Titan. The Eternals received a message from John giving them a chance to build their own civilization, and rings descended as the sun rose.
A golden river carried magic and visions through Alfheim, Vanaheim, and Jotunheim, changing the lives of children yet to be born and a young Frost Giant. When its influence reached Earth, the Magic Book stirred in Ariana’s home and Dudley’s injuries mysteriously healed.
John died and used his soul contract to trap Satannish on Earth, then revealed that other Hell Lords and Death had claims on him. He left Satannish with a choice: help him experience love or remain trapped and face the consequences.
John arranged for Satannish to use Love Magic on him, causing him to fall in love with himself, then sacrificed his soul to the Soul Stone to escape Death. The Jovanovic family and the Dreamwalker witnessed his apparent death, though the ending distinguished Critic's choice from John Wick's.
John resurrected himself with the Soul Stone and a new body, then returned to the Wizarding World and gathered the five Infinity Stones he possessed. He left the story in the Magic Tower, newly empowered and recognized as changed by those who knew him.
John completed his collection of the Infinity Stones after Stephen gave him the Time Stone, saying he wanted to use their power for one small wish. He returned to Wizard City and snapped his fingers, leaving the wish’s result unclear as the ring on his hand cracked and fell away.
The Wizard King awakened from his long frozen sleep in the Magic Tower, greeted by Tom, Basil, and Riddle as magic briefly resonated across the universe. He looked out over the changed world and saw how his family, friends, and the wider world had lived while he was gone.
The wizarding world prepared for Hagrid’s wedding in Albania, where his friends gathered despite the dangers and inconvenience of the forest. Harry and Ron spotted Draco Malfoy among the guests, leaving them surprised by his presence.
Hagrid and Madame Maxime married in a lively wedding attended by Hogwarts and Beauxbatons alumni, with the Wizard King arriving to officiate. The celebration continued with dancing and magical surprises, while Bill remained heartbroken over Fleur and several guests pursued romances of their own.
At Hagrid’s wedding in Albania, John told the Wizard King he would not replace him, then left to explore the creator of fate. The Wizard King reunited with the Moon Goddess, while Robert settled into a quiet life and was visited by an old friend.
Robert and John discussed retirement before John spent time with Peter and May, advising Peter about his responsibilities and joining them for dinner. John told May he had to leave for somewhere far away, and Peter learned that John was going away.
Ivan Vanko challenged Tony Stark to one last duel, but their clash ended with both men bruised and talking over burgers. Tony apologized for what happened to Ivan’s father, and Ivan returned home reconsidering the revenge that had shaped his life.
John spoke with the old man who had created the superheroes, then left without deciding to return home. Later, he reunited with Matt at the Lawyer Firm and departed after encouraging him to keep questioning his actions.
After the snap, John confronted the truth that he was a variant living someone else’s life and chose to leave the Wizard King’s world. He awakened in a new universe, where John Constantine welcomed him to a second life.
