Ch. 376The Sin Archbishops Gather for the First Time

Hermione gathered the Sin Archbishops for the first time, introduced the members who had answered her summons, and equipped them with robes tailored to their powers. She announced that she had called them together for a major operation but had not yet revealed its details.

  • Kaecilius trained Strange at Kamar-Taj, then left through a portal after saying he had to attend to something important.
  • Agatha and Wanda received glowing Apple-Shaped Marks and flew from the forest to answer Hermione’s summons.
  • Tom Apparated into Hermione’s hall, followed by Kaecilius, Agatha, and Wanda; Luna stood beside Hermione as the group assembled.
  • Hermione introduced Kaecilius as Gluttony, Agatha as Greed, Wanda as Wrath, Tom as Pride, and Luna as Sloth, and said Envy would meet them soon.
  • Hermione assessed the archbishops’ magical strength and gave each one a crimson robe bearing a personal mark and protective enchantments.
  • Hermione told the assembled archbishops that she had summoned them for a major operation.

Ch. 377Upheaval in Asgard

Hermione brought her companions to Asgard after learning that Odin was struggling against Hela, whose escape from Helheim was corrupting the realm. Odin explained the crisis and recognized the dangerous power among Hermione’s allies as the group prepared to help.

  • Hermione told the group that Odin was in trouble and that Loki was the Witch Cult’s Sin Archbishop of Envy, then led them to Asgard in an Asgardian spacecraft.
  • Hermione and her companions arrived to find Helheim spreading across half of Asgard and met Odin, Thor, Loki, Frigga, and Banner at the palace.
  • Odin explained that Hela had escaped her seal half a month earlier and was fighting him for dominion over Asgard.
  • Hermione offered to help and introduced her companions to Odin, who identified Agatha as the heir to the Dark Dimension after Dormammu’s death.
  • Odin recognized Wanda’s Chaos Magic and remarked on its limitless potential.

Ch. 378Crossing blades with Odin

Hermione challenged Odin to a spar so she could gauge his strength before the battle with Hela. After Odin’s Gungnir overwhelmed her first tactics, Hermione used Heavenly Blue Ice Flame to freeze the spear and break his control over it.

  • Odin praised Hermione’s companions, and Hermione asked to spar with him to better understand Hela’s strength.
  • Odin accepted Hermione’s challenge and faced her in Asgard’s Training Ground.
  • Hermione transformed into elemental particles to evade Gungnir, but Odin’s golden thunder struck her and disrupted her magic.
  • Hermione repeatedly used Apparition and fired spells, but Gungnir tracked her through space and Odin blocked her attacks with a golden shield.
  • Hermione unleashed Heavenly Blue Ice Flame, freezing Gungnir’s lightning and causing the spear to fall from Odin’s control.

Ch. 379Odin conceded defeat

Hermione fought Odin in the Training Ground, using the Heavenly Blue Ice Flame and her Super Shield Charm to withstand his attacks before striking him with a Blasting Curse. Odin conceded defeat, leaving Thor and the others stunned by Hermione’s strength.

  • Odin pulled Gungnir free of Hermione’s Heavenly Blue Ice Flame and retreated from the spreading frost.
  • Odin attacked Hermione with over a hundred copies of Gungnir, but her altered Super Shield Charm blocked them all.
  • Hermione hit Odin with a Blasting Curse, scorching his armor, and Odin declared that he had lost.
  • Odin told Thor that Hermione’s defenses had made her unbeatable and said she had held back with her final attack.
  • Thor, Frigga, Loki, Banner, and the Witch Cult’s Sin Archbishops reacted to Hermione’s victory, while Agatha abandoned her ambitions to challenge her.

Ch. 380Armament Haki

Hermione developed a new defensive technique, which she named Armament Haki, and learned that Hela had become at least as powerful as Odin. She left Asgard to seek a way to increase her strength and uncovered a hidden island in the Indian Ocean, where she began tearing open the ground.

  • Hermione explained how she combined a compressed Super Shield Charm with a repulsive field to stop Gungnir, and named the technique Armament Haki.
  • Odin warned Hermione that Hela had taken more than half of the Asgard Essence and was now at least as strong as he was.
  • Hermione left the Witch Cult with Odin to return to Earth and collected a sample of Helheim's underworld fire before departing Asgard.
  • Hermione summoned Dumpling at Stark Tower and asked her to locate a hidden site with buried adamantium and undiscovered superpowered people.
  • Dumpling identified an uninhabited volcanic island in the southern Indian Ocean, and Hermione used Planetary Devastation to tear apart its surface.

Ch. 381The Celestial, Tiamut!

Hermione used Planetary Devastation to expose the unborn Celestial Tiamut, then confronted the Eternals who arrived to stop her. She revealed that Tiamut’s Emergence would destroy Earth and warned the Eternals not to interfere.

  • Hermione halted Planetary Devastation when Ikaris and the other Eternals arrived, revealing Tiamut’s enormous fingertip beneath the ground.
  • Ajak recognized Hermione as the Witch and tried to question her, while Hermione told the Eternals to stay out of her way.
  • Ikaris attacked Hermione with his eye beams, but she remained unharmed and called him a Celestial’s plaything.
  • Hermione revealed that she had come to stop Tiamut’s Emergence from destroying Earth and threatened to kill any Eternal who interfered.
  • Hermione’s magic forced several Eternals back as she taunted them for not knowing their purpose.

Ch. 382Exposing the Truth

Hermione revealed that the Eternals had been created to protect Tiamut until his Emergence destroyed Earth, and Ajak confirmed the secret. The Eternals turned against Ikaris over his loyalty to the Celestials, while Hermione prepared to stop the Emergence and Ikaris blamed her for turning the others against him.

  • Sersi and the other Eternals demanded answers, and Ajak allowed Hermione to explain their true mission.
  • Hermione told the Eternals that Tiamut would hatch and consume Earth's life, and that they had repeatedly been reset and sent to guard other Celestial births.
  • Thena described troubling memories of a previous cycle, and Ajak confirmed that the Emergence and Tiamut were real.
  • Sersi and the others confronted Ikaris for accepting Earth's destruction, but he insisted that the Celestials' will came first.
  • Ajak asked Hermione to stop the Emergence despite the danger of Celestial retaliation, and Hermione said she could handle the consequences.
  • Ikaris accused Ajak of betraying the Celestials and blamed Hermione for turning the Eternals against him.

Ch. 383The Politically Correct Race

Hermione defeated Ikaris after he attacked her, then killed him to prevent him from reporting to the Celestials. The chapter ended with a little girl among the Eternals attacking Hermione with illusions.

  • Ikaris charged at Hermione, but she used Planetary Devastation to trap him in a massive stone sphere and smash him into the sea.
  • Ikaris emerged from the water badly injured, and the little girl rushed to his side and threatened Hermione.
  • Hermione restrained Ikaris and crushed his bones as Ajak and Sersi pleaded for his life.
  • Hermione explained that Ikaris had to die because he would report their actions to the Celestials, then crushed him to death.
  • The little girl conjured lifelike illusions and sent them rushing toward Hermione.

Ch. 384The Celestials' Secret

Hermione discovered that Tiamut absorbed souls like she did, leading her to suspect the Celestials cultivated intelligent life to harvest its soul energy. Unable to risk her original plan or let the Emergence happen, she attacked Tiamut directly, but her Killing Curse failed.

  • Hermione killed Sprite after killing Ikaris, then refused to attack the other Eternals because she needed their cooperation.
  • Hermione discovered that Ikaris's soul was being pulled toward Tiamut and used Dark Harvest to absorb it, but Sprite's soul reached Tiamut first and was absorbed.
  • Hermione concluded that the Celestials might cultivate life to harvest souls and feared they could detect any memory alterations exposing her.
  • Hermione decided she had no safe way to avoid the Celestials or stop the Emergence, so she fired a Killing Curse at Tiamut.
  • The Killing Curse left only a tiny crack on Tiamut's body and otherwise had no effect.

Ch. 385Advancing to level seven

Hermione used the Eternals and Dumpling’s Mind Stone to weaken Tiamut’s defenses, then killed the infant Celestial and advanced to level seven. After learning level eight required five hundred million soul energy, she killed Ajak and the other Eternals before they could discuss how to hide Tiamut’s death.

  • Hermione had the Eternals channel their energy through Druig while Dumpling amplified him with the Mind Stone, weakening Tiamut’s soul defenses.
  • Hermione used Hela’s underworld fire to weaken Tiamut’s soul, then killed him with Avada Kedavra and absorbed his soul energy.
  • Hermione spent the energy to reach level seven and discovered that advancing to level eight required five hundred million soul energy.
  • Ajak asked Hermione how they should prepare for the Celestials’ response, but Hermione struck her with Red Light.
  • Hermione’s Red Light ricocheted through the group, killing Ajak and all the other Eternals.
