"Hey, hey, Itto? Itto? Come in if you can hear me!"
Outside the Pym Group building, Lin Ze called out to Itto several times, but the jumble of noise over the comms told him something unexpected had happened on Itto's end.
"Traveler, what's going on? Why can't we hear Itto all of a sudden?"
Paimon stomped her feet anxiously. "We were talking just fine a moment ago! Why did it suddenly cut out?"
"Did he run into trouble?" Paimon asked worriedly.
"Probably." Lin Ze sighed helplessly, gazing thoughtfully at the towering building before him.
Dr. Pym truly lived up to his background in S.H.I.E.L.D. His counter-surveillance measures covered every angle. Beyond the thermal-masking coating on the Pym Group building's exterior, even the floors used for important meetings had jamming equipment installed.
The moment Itto stepped into the elevator, Lin Ze's communications began having problems.
After noticing the anomaly, he tried using Super Electromagnetic Wave to scan the entire building, only to receive a signal interference warning.
"Nothing we can do. Looks like we'll just have to wait patiently."
Seeing the worry on Lin Ze's face, Paimon couldn't help asking, "Traveler, I don't understand. Why do we have to go to all this trouble and send Itto into danger? If there's a bad guy in this building, couldn't we just have Tony or the other Avengers come arrest him?"
Lin Ze shook his head and patiently explained to Paimon, "There's a reason for that. What I'm more interested in is the Pym Group's founder, Dr. Pym. He's developed an incredible suit that can enlarge or shrink people. It could play a major role in a war."
"But because of Dr. Pym's past experiences at S.H.I.E.L.D., he doesn't trust people closely connected to them-no, the Avengers were actually founded through S.H.I.E.L.D.'s efforts.
