Lin Ze was naturally delighted to see his old friend again. After they talked, he learned that Yinsen had been working at Stark Industries ever since they parted.
Yinsen had simply chosen to work at a remote branch because he still missed his family, who lay buried far away.
"I heard you were in trouble, so I came to help."
Yinsen told Lin Ze that he had no intention of leaving New York this time. Home was where his loved ones were, and he had already moved his wife's and children's remains here. From now on, he planned to stay and lend Tony a hand.
"Now that's great news."
Tony grinned from ear to ear at that.
"Giving up your job as branch general manager to become my male secretary isn't a bad idea either."
He teased Yinsen with a smile.
Naturally, Lin Ze and the others held nothing back from Yinsen. Surprisingly, he took their account of the enormous crisis approaching Earth quite well.
"I was living on borrowed time anyway. The worst that can happen is that I die. Besides, I don't think humanity will lose."
Yinsen's words gave Lin Ze and Tony a tremendous boost after days of frayed nerves.
Once they finished catching up, Tony wasted no time dragging Yinsen into his laboratory. Lin Ze prepared to leave with Paimon, too. He hadn't forgotten that his business in Asgard remained unfinished. Now that things here were arranged, he needed to hurry back.
Yinsen's arrival was an unexpected bonus, and efforts to recruit several other capable people were already underway. Lin Ze wasn't personally handling those tasks, though. He had planned it all out long ago.
Before leaving, however, he still had one thing to do-the all-important gacha pull!!!
Fortunately, he no longer needed to keep running
