Cyno keenly noticed the change in his manner and asked outright, "Was it Steven standing here before me who came up with this idea, or Mark?"
Mark, who now controlled the body, had eyes as sharp as a hawk's. He glanced at Cyno first, then turned his gaze to Lin Ze and Paimon. After a moment of silence, seemingly considering something, he answered, "The person standing before you now is Mark. But I didn't come up with this idea. Khonshu, the Moon God, did."
"What?! Mark? Mr. Steven, how did looking in a mirror change your name?"
Paimon scratched the back of her head in confusion. She couldn't understand the connection.
"I think Mr. Tony's guess might have been right." Understanding dawned in Cyno's eyes as he told Paimon, "Just think of it as Mr. Steven having lots of good friends living in his body. This time, he asked this Mr. Mark to come out and help us."
Cyno's explanation made everything click for Paimon. "Oh~ So that's how it works! Mr. Steven's situation is a little like Layla's. When Layla can't finish her papers, her good friend secretly helps her finish them after she falls asleep."
"Paimon wants a good friend like that too."
She nodded, then looked at Mark and asked, "Then who's this Moon God Khonshu you mentioned, Mr. Mark? Here's a little secret: we know lots of gods too."
"The Anemo Archon, the Geo Archon, Thor, the Dendro Archon..." Paimon counted them on her fingers and thought some more. "But a Moon God... hmm, Paimon's never heard of him."
