Khonshu materialized after finishing his mischief with the sun.
He stood before the group preparing to enter, blocking the passage. His gaze was fierce as he snarled, [You ignorant fools! What do you think the Court of the Gods is? This is no place for any random nobody to barge into! Nor is it somewhere irrelevant people like you can come to join the fun!]
After listening to Cyno relay Khonshu's words, Lin Ze raised his eyebrows slightly.
He could sense that Khonshu seemed to be hiding something, but he had no idea what it was.
So he decided to probe him and see whether he could uncover any clues.
"Oh? A court? My friend Neuvillette here has seen plenty of those. How special could it be? Unless you have something to hide... ah! Don't tell me this Court of the Gods is actually some amateur outfit." A faint smile curled Lin Ze's lips. "Still, I'm rather curious. What would happen if we angered the other gods? Why don't you tell us, Lord Khonshu?"

In front of Lin Ze, where he could not see him, Khonshu pointed at him, his finger trembling with fury as though he meant to jab straight through the air.
Khonshu sputtered "you" for ages without managing to get another word out.
Mark, standing nearby, keenly sensed the strange atmosphere and began urging him on impatiently.
"What's there that you can't tell us? Are you scared?"
Mark frowned, looking at Khonshu skeptically.
Khonshu glanced at Mark, then suddenly burst out laughing, though his laughter sounded rather unconvincing.
[Ha ha... me, scared?]
[You're the one who should be scared. If we provoke them, I might get imprisoned.]
Mark looked as though realization had dawned on him. "Ohhh."
Cyno followed right away.
