"This Os... what-pot?"
Miaomiao realized with resignation that she really might be bad at remembering foreign names. Even after all this time, she still couldn't remember Penguin's name.
"Oswald Cobblepot."
A voice came from beside her. It was Bruce. Clearly, he had heard their conversation.
Miaomiao immediately beamed. "Bruce, merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas, Miaomiao." Bruce walked over, patted the girl's head, and looked at the Christmas present Penguin had sent.
"Bruce, what do you think of this Os-Penguin? Should I be friends with him?"
Miaomiao was a good little girl. When she wasn't sure about something, she asked the adults. They were bound to know what to do.
Bruce picked up Penguin's gift and examined it before handing it back to Miaomiao. "The music box is nicely made. Keep it and enjoy it. You can take that membership card along when you go out. It'll get you the biggest discount at any of Cobblepot's establishments."
Although the Wayne Family didn't care about such a small sum, the card from the Cobblepot Family was also a status symbol, and could sometimes help avoid trouble.
"As for whether you should be friends with Penguin..." Bruce didn't make the decision for Miaomiao. "He's your friend. You have the right to choose your own friends."
"I understand." Miaomiao thought for a moment. "I don't think he's as bad as Joker. I want to meet him first, then decide whether to be friends with him."
Bruce looked at Miaomiao's clear, determined eyes and gently ruffled her soft hair. "Go if you want to. I'll have Alfred arrange a car."
"I'm free! I can go with Miaomiao!" Dick bounded over, eagerly volunteering. "Miaomiao is still a baby who's underage. She needs a responsible adult with her-and obviously, I'm that responsible adult."
