Were these guys trying to lure their enemies deeper into a trap?
After hearing so much about how cunning and treacherous land humans were, and seeing all sorts of sophisticated, high-tech crimes in Gotham City, Miaomiao could barely believe these people had simply snatched her off the street so crudely.
Miaomiao tentatively moved her hands and feet. No one stopped her.
After much deliberation, Miaomiao finally took off the hood blocking her vision. It was not because she could not see. The main problem was that she had no idea what the person who had put it on her had eaten for breakfast. The hood smelled of some strange sauce that kept making her nose itch and made her want to sneeze.
Once she could see again, Miaomiao finally understood why no one had stopped her.
Those guys who called themselves Hydra seemed very confident in their drugs. After finding and throwing away her phone, removing her wristwatch, and making sure she had no other metal objects on her, they had not even left anyone to guard her.
Miaomiao sat in the compartment and thought for a long while before finally arriving at a vague guess-
Were they underestimating her?
Once she figured that out, Miaomiao pouted unhappily. Bruce and Uncle Nini, and even Steve and the others, had all told her to be good. She had obeyed because she did not want them to worry.
But in these guys' eyes, she was just a helpless pushover they could do whatever they wanted with. They even thought posting a guard was unnecessary. Such blatant contempt left her feeling stifled.
She had not brought much with her on her morning run. Her watch and phone, both of which she could use to communicate, had been taken away, so Miaomiao had no
