Miaomiao stood in the middle, listening to everyone chime in, looking utterly bewildered.
She did not quite understand why playing a fun game would lead to so much trouble.
"Will something bad happen if it gets printed in the school paper?" Miaomiao asked quietly.
Lia explained, "Not necessarily, but a lot of people might start watching you and talking about you everywhere. Some might even come looking for you specifically because they want to compete against you. Elliot's friends might twist the facts, too."
Miaomiao nodded, only half understanding. She did not care whether it went in the paper or not. There was only one thing on her mind-
"So can I still play tennis from now on?"
"Of course." Tim patted the top of Miaomiao's head. "As long as you enjoy it, you can play tennis whenever you want."
