Barry peeked out from behind her shoulder, squinting at the silvery figure. "Who's that guy?"
"Aquaman's younger brother, Orm," Ririko said quietly. "He's here to steal my trident."
Barry paused. "Aquaman? You mean Arthur Curry?"
"You know him?"
Barry suddenly sounded familiar with him. "I've had drinks with him a couple of times. He makes a pretty good mojito, though he puts in a little too much sea salt-"
Ririko turned to glance at him. She hadn't expected him to know Aquaman as well as Superman. Apparently, all that running around had turned the kid into quite the social butterfly.
"Listen," she said, turning back to watch the pulsing silver orb in the distance. "If you can handle that silver ribbonfish this time, Bruce will definitely believe you're on the side of justice."
Barry looked down at his submerged boots. In the water, his superpowers were as good as nonexistent.
"Could we wait for Arthur to deal with him...?"
Ririko gave him a disdainful glance.
Just then, a billboard drifted slowly past her, with "Sea salt and cocoa" printed on it.
She eyed the conveniently sized billboard and asked Barry, "Can you surf?"
Orm stood in the middle of the flood, gripping his scepter.
He sensed an ancient power approaching through the water around him. It was the power of the Trident of the Sea God.
Suddenly, a red blur appeared beside him, moving at tremendous speed.
Barry rode the "Sea salt and cocoa" billboard, crouching forward in a surfing stance as he carved an arc across the surface.
Although he couldn't fully unleash the Speed Force underwater, propelling a wooden board across the surface was well within his abilities.
He went faster and faster, the billboard's edges slicing through the water as he circled Orm, lap after lap.
