Ch. 129Cavalry Apprentices, an Invitation

Allen inspected the Dwarven armor shipment and planned a cavalry force with Gryphon Knight-trained shock cavalry and Twilight Knight-style mounted skirmishers. Just as selection began, Galadriel invited him to the White Council meeting in Lothlórien, where Gandalf was waiting, leaving Allen to face an unplanned journey before he felt ready to confront Saruman.

  • Glóin delivered the overdue Dwarven armor shipment and explained that the Easterling threat and iron shortages had delayed production.
  • Allen judged the heavy armor potentially unsuitable for much of his cavalry and continued plans to improve their strength through Gryphon Knight training.
  • Allen recruited cavalry apprentices of both sexes and planned male shock cavalry alongside female mounted skirmishers trained in simplified Twilight Knight methods.
  • Allen opened selection to young candidates and serving soldiers, offering future fiefs and advancement to those who completed training and earned merit.
  • Elves from Lothlórien delivered Galadriel's invitation for Allen to bring the Lake-town spoils to the White Council meeting, where Gandalf awaited him.
  • Allen's plans were disrupted because he did not yet feel ready to face Saruman.

Ch. 130Saruman's urgency

Radagast reported the Ringwraith’s defeat near Long Lake to Saruman, who learned that Allen possessed a Ring of Power and alerted the White Council. Allen accepted an invitation to Lothlórien and arrived safely with a large escort, where the council would decide what to do about his ring.

  • Radagast inspected the battlefield near Long Lake, found a vanished Morgul Blade, and hurried to tell Saruman about the dead beast and the Ringwraith’s belongings.
  • Saruman questioned Radagast, then secretly investigated Wilderness Town and Lake-town, learning that Allen had fought the Ringwraith and carried a ring.
  • Saruman tried and failed to control Allen, sensed a faint power within him, and reported to the White Council that Allen possessed one of the ruling rings.
  • Gandalf, Elrond, Círdan, and Galadriel responded to the news, and Saruman and Gandalf traveled together to Lothlórien for a meeting.
  • Allen agreed to attend the meeting, gathered his followers and four hundred cavalrymen, and invited Beorn and Grim to accompany him.
  • Allen reached Caras Galadhon without meeting any enemies along the way.

Ch. 131Before the Meeting

Allen met Gandalf in Caras Galadhon before the White Council meeting and offered the Ring to the Council in exchange for information about the Star of Elendil. As Allen and Gandalf slept, a white-robed figure watched them from the shadows.

  • Celeborn and Galadriel welcomed Allen to Caras Galadhon and arranged for Gandalf to join him for dinner.
  • Gandalf worried that Saruman would try to take Allen's Ring, but Allen showed little attachment to it and offered it to the White Council.
  • Allen told Gandalf that Isildur had carried the Star of Elendil and suggested Saruman might know where it was; Gandalf agreed to support Allen's request.
  • Allen and Gandalf discussed the war against the Easterlings, then stayed up talking before going to sleep.
  • A white-robed figure emerged from the shadows and silently watched Allen and Gandalf as they slept.

Ch. 132Saruman's performance

At the White Council, Saruman tried to persuade Allen to hand over the ring he had taken from a Ringwraith, using research into the Rings of Power to justify his request. Gandalf stopped Saruman from magically exhausting Allen, and Allen agreed to contribute the ring only if Saruman granted him a favor.

  • Saruman and Elrond explained the histories and powers of the Elven Rings and the other Rings of Power to the White Council.
  • Saruman approached Allen and used his power to drain Allen’s strength while asking about the ring he had obtained.
  • Gandalf noticed Allen’s distress and used Narya to break Saruman’s influence.
  • Allen told Saruman that the ring was gold, set with a sapphire, and could grant invisibility.
  • Saruman claimed the ring might help locate the One Ring, but Gandalf challenged his explanation and began suspecting Saruman had concealed knowledge about Dol Guldur.
  • Allen agreed to give Saruman the ring on the condition that Saruman grant him a favor.

Ch. 133Saruman's Compromise

At the White Council meeting, Allen pressed Saruman for the Star of Elendil and used his knowledge of the wizard’s secrets to force negotiations. Saruman agreed to investigate the gem and send Orthanc’s Palantír to Rivendell, while Allen left the Ring conditional on receiving the Star.

  • Allen asked Saruman for clues about the Star of Elendil, and Saruman denied knowing anything about it despite having found the gem on Isildur’s body.
  • Allen mocked Saruman and offered to question his subordinates, provoking Saruman to ready his staff until Galadriel calmed the meeting.
  • Allen offered the Ring in exchange for Galadriel sending Lothlórien’s army against the Easterlings, but Galadriel declined because she could not leave her realm undefended.
  • Saruman offered to defeat the Easterlings for the Ring, but Allen rejected him and demanded the Star of Elendil, then raised the matter of Orthanc’s Palantír.
  • Gandalf warned Allen that the Palantír was dangerous, and Elrond asked Saruman to return it to the descendants of Arnor.
  • Saruman agreed to investigate the Star of Elendil and arrange for the Palantír to be delivered to Rivendell.

Ch. 134The conversation after the meeting

After the White Council meeting, Allen left Lothlórien with Gandalf, Elrond, Círdan, and their escorts, while Saruman secretly resolved to build an army and take revenge. On the road, Allen explained his need for allies against the growing threat in the East and asked Elrond to connect him with the Northern Rangers, offering the Star of Elendil as a way to earn their friendship.

  • Allen took the Palantír Stone from Saruman, who concealed his humiliation and planned to fortify Orthanc and recruit the Dunlendings of Rhûn.
  • Galadriel gave Allen an elf-woven cloak, and Allen departed Caras Galadhon with Gandalf, Elrond, Círdan, and their companions.
  • Elrond asked Allen why he sought the Star of Elendil, and Allen explained that he feared renewed attacks by the Easterlings and other forces serving Sauron.
  • Allen told Elrond that Rohan and Gondor could not provide the help he needed, and revealed that the Star of Elendil was hidden in Orthanc as a possible gift for the Northern Rangers.
  • Elrond promised to convey Allen's goodwill to the Northern Rangers, while Círdan listened and began to view Allen differently.

Ch. 135Círdan

Círdan reconsidered his judgment of Allen after hearing about his plans for the Northern Dúnedain and offered to help him secure ships for a river fleet. During the journey, the leaders shared news and lore before parting at the Old Ford, where Allen continued home.

  • Círdan questioned whether Allen would return the Star of Elendil even if the Northern Dúnedain refused to send troops, and Allen assured him he would.
  • Círdan offered to vouch for Allen with Lady Gilraen, but Allen instead asked for ships and shipbuilders from Lindon.
  • Círdan agreed to send Sindar shipbuilders to Lake-town to help Allen establish a river fleet and invited him to visit the Grey Havens.
  • Círdan told Allen and Elrond that Maglor's jewel lay in the depths of the Icebay of Forochel and that remnants of Angmar had grown bolder.
  • Allen's party parted from Círdan and Elrond at the Old Ford, and Allen returned to his territory after more than three months away.

Ch. 136The sudden outbreak of war

Sauron’s recovery drove Mordor to invade Gondor, prompting Gondor to seek Rohan’s aid. Thengel returned to Edoras to deliver the appeal, but Fengel refused before collapsing, and Klethi set out to fetch Jeremus to treat him.

  • Sauron woke weakened and ordered the Ringwraiths to mobilize, accelerating Mordor’s attacks on Gondor’s Ithilien territories.
  • Turgon’s council chose to evacuate Ithilien, defend key crossings, and ask Rohan for aid; Thengel accepted the mission and traveled to Edoras with Morwen and Klethi’s party.
  • Fengel refused to help Gondor, and his argument with Thengel ended when he collapsed from a severe illness.
  • Grim used healing magic to ease Fengel’s suffering, while Klethi departed with an Éored escort to bring Jeremus to Edoras.
  • Allen waited in Wilderness Town for Saruman to send the Star of Elendil, unaware of the events unfolding in Gondor and Rohan.

Ch. 137Fate

Allen strengthened the Kingdom of Rhovanion, prepared for Easterling raids, and sent Jeremus to treat King Fengel of Rohan. Meanwhile, Sauron ambushed Saruman through the Palantír Stone, prompting Saruman to send it to Rivendell; months later, visitors from Orthanc and Eriador arrived to meet Allen.

  • Allen organized Knight Apprentice training and ordered Alayen and Firentis to defend the Running River against Easterling attacks.
  • Allen gave Jeremus the Elixir of Immortality and sent him with an escort to Edoras to treat King Fengel.
  • Sauron seized Saruman's attention through the Palantír Stone, but Saruman escaped and ordered a follower to deliver the stone to Elrond in Rivendell.
  • Saruman planned to recover, then travel to Wilderness Town with the Star of Elendil, while weighing whether to accept Half-orcs and wargs into his service.
  • Months later, Allen received visitors from Orthanc and Eriador while inspecting the Knight Apprentices' training.

Ch. 138The transaction was complete

Allen waited outside his territory for Saruman’s party and exchanged the Star of Elendil for a ring recovered from a Ringwraith. After the transaction, Saruman sent spies toward Wilderness Town, and Allen learned of their approach two days later.

  • Allen prepared an armed roadside meeting after learning Saruman was traveling from Orthanc, while Saruman concealed himself among his party.
  • Alandon presented the Star of Elendil, which Frey inspected and confirmed as genuine, and Allen handed over the ring.
  • Alandon put on the ring and entered the unseen world, but Allen removed it when the terrified mercenary could not take it off.
  • Alandon and the party left, and Allen ordered young people to have their animal friends watch them.
  • Saruman sent several men across the Anduin River to infiltrate Wilderness Town, and Allen received news of their plan two days later.

Ch. 139A Little Incident at the Tavern

Bunduk investigated suspicious newcomers at the Spear and Lance Tavern, where Saruman’s agents and three Dúnedain from Eriador had arrived in Wilderness Town. He kept the agents under observation and learned that Allen had invited the Dúnedain to visit him.

  • The tavern proprietress noticed three armed-looking strangers with a star-shaped silver pin and sent her son to report them to the patrol.
  • A girl and her squirrel informed Bunduk that the strangers had entered the tavern, and Bunduk rewarded her with a gold Denar.
  • Bunduk went to the tavern with his men, where the proprietress’s son briefed him on the newcomers.
  • Bunduk discreetly identified Saruman’s agents and recognized the silver pin worn by one of the three Dúnedain, then left without confronting anyone.
  • That evening, an official told the three Dúnedain that Allen had invited them to visit.

Ch. 140Meeting

Abinas and two Dúnedain inspected Wilderness Town and met with Allen to discuss the Star of Elendil. Allen offered to return the heirloom freely and asked to discuss Dúnedain aid against the Easterlings with Lady Gilraen, leaving Abinas to report the offer in Imladris.

  • Abinas and two Dúnedain arrived in Wilderness Town to assess Allen and his subjects before Lady Gilraen decided whether to meet him.
  • Abinas observed the town’s orderly streets and strict weapon rules, unaware that Allen had imposed them after Bunduk dismantled violent gangs.
  • Allen welcomed the Dúnedain to a lavish banquet, and Abinas’s suspicion eased when Allen spoke of Estel and Lady Gilraen.
  • Abinas inspected the Star of Elendil and confirmed that it was genuine before asking Allen to name his price for returning it.
  • Allen offered to return the Star of Elendil without payment and asked to discuss Dúnedain support in his war against the Easterlings.
  • Abinas agreed to report Allen’s offer to Lady Gilraen and left to travel to Imladris the next morning.

Ch. 141Simulation on the Calradia Continent, part one

Allen prepared Wincord Castle for war as Swadia mobilized against the Kingdom of the Nords, then watched King Harlaus assign his family thankless defensive duties and demand that Davis remain at court. Earl Dilinard revealed that he had ordered Rafard to rob King Ragnar’s caravan, leaving Allen to confront the truth behind the war’s outbreak.

  • Abinas rode from Wilderness Town to deliver Allen’s message, while Allen managed his holdings in the Simulator and prepared Wincord Castle’s troops for war.
  • After a mercenary company robbed King Ragnar’s caravan, King Harlaus called up Swadia’s nobles, and Allen earned several thousand Denars by selling wheat bought around Dhirim.
  • At the war council, King Harlaus assigned the main attack on Rud Castle to himself and Earl Kleis, while directing Earl Dilinard’s family to guard against threats at Jelborg Castle and Tyrberg Castle.
  • King Harlaus asked Earl Dilinard to leave Davis at court, and Dilinard privately told Allen that he had ordered Rafard to rob the caravan.

Ch. 142In the Calradia Continent simulation

Dilinard explained Harlaus’s plot against his family and revealed his plan for Allen to kill the king and Prince Edward during the coming war. Allen went to Harlaus’s court, where the king tried to win him over, while Harlaus privately scolded Edward for failing to do the same.

  • Dilinard told Allen that Harlaus planned to have Klagus and the Nords ambush him and Haringoth near Jelborg Castle, and that Earl Kleis had allied with their family through a marriage deal.
  • Dilinard ordered Allen to kill Harlaus and Edward after Klagus struck first, so the family could claim it was defending itself and launch a counterattack.
  • Harlaus summoned Allen to a banquet, treated him warmly, introduced Prince Edward, and hinted that he would help Allen claim his family’s succession rights.
  • After Allen left the banquet, Harlaus slapped Edward and reprimanded him for discussing women and brothels instead of offering Allen power and a fief.
  • Harlaus told Edward that he planned to kill Dilinard, blame the Nords, and destroy his family, while Edward learned that his disreputable friends had been killed.

Ch. 143The Calradia Continent simulation ends

Allen followed King Harlaus’s invasion of Nord territory, witnessed its brutal massacres, and learned that the Swadian civil war’s factions were closing in on one another. He killed Harlaus and Prince Edward, fought off the king’s cavalry, and reached Dilinard’s army alive as the Calradia simulation ended.

  • King Harlaus led Swadian cavalry into Nord territory and ordered villages such as Ambien destroyed, while Allen watched without taking part.
  • The Nord defenders at Rud Castle resisted Earl Kleis’s siege, and Dilinard and Haringoth ambushed Earl Klagus and Earl Tredian’s forces before fighting off a Nord counterattack.
  • Dilinard’s army suffered heavy losses but captured many Swadian soldiers, while Earl Kleis kept Allen uninformed of the plot until Dilinard defeated Klagus.
  • When Harlaus welcomed Earl Kleis’s battle-ready army, Allen struck the king with his Mace and killed him, then hurled a lance through Prince Edward.
  • Allen’s ten men covered his escape, and he fought through the pursuing cavalry until his opponents stopped and he rode into Haringoth’s forces to reach Dilinard.

Ch. 144Bad news and good news

After Harlaus’s death, Dilinard secured a peace with the Nords and worked to consolidate his claim to Swadia while Allen rested at Wincord Castle. In Middle-earth, Gondor’s crisis deepened and Allen lacked allies against the Easterlings, but he gained Sunno as his fief and received word that Lady Gilraen would meet him before October.

  • Sulton Jarl surrendered Rud Castle and left with his soldiers, peasants, and supplies, allowing Dilinard to trade the castle and denars for a five-year peace with Ragnar.
  • Harlaus’s loyalists opposed Dilinard, while Lady Aesona seized Sunno and claimed the Swadian throne; Allen’s father told him to secure his succession at the family assembly.
  • Allen returned to Wincord Castle to recover, while Thengel’s letter reported that Cair Andros had fallen and appealed for Allen’s help defending Gondor.
  • Allen concluded that Rohan and Gondor could not reinforce him against the Easterlings, and he continued building his forces while awaiting a better source of income.
  • Allen advanced events in the Simulator until he gained Sunno as his fief, and the Dúnedain wrote that Lady Gilraen would meet him before October.

Ch. 145The Deal Was Done, and Gandalf Came Calling

Allen returned the Star of Elendil to Gilraen and secured five hundred Dúnedain for his coming war against the Easterlings. Gandalf then arrived with news of the wider conflict, leaving Allen to prepare for the war while knowing his attempt to delay the War of the Ring had failed.

  • Allen welcomed Gilraen to Wilderness Town and asked after her son, Estel.
  • Gilraen agreed to send five hundred people to Allen, including three hundred experienced warriors and two hundred auxiliaries, with Abinas helping manage them.
  • Allen reflected on his failed search for Gollum and concluded that he had only a few decades before the War of the Ring.
  • Gandalf arrived after Thranduil and Galadriel had refused to send aid to Gondor, and said he planned to seek help from Glorfindel.
  • Gandalf told Allen that Saruman had joined Gondor and Rohan at the front against Mordor, while urging Allen to attack the Easterlings soon.

Ch. 146Preparations for War, Part One

Allen prepared for a war against the Easterlings by gathering intelligence, requesting aid from his allies, and receiving the first Dúnedain Rangers in Wilderness Town. Thranduil agreed to supply weapons and armor while guarding the Running River, and Allen awaited Thorin's reply, which promised even greater assistance.

  • Allen sent mounted scouts and eight senior Friends of Animals into eastern Rhovanion to locate the Easterlings and, if possible, visit the Northern Men in their canyon.
  • Allen wrote to Thorin II, Thranduil, and Lady Gilraen to request aid and arrange for Dúnedain reinforcements before the expected autumn war.
  • Abinas led the first group of Dúnedain Rangers to Wilderness Town, where Allen arranged mounts and supplies before Abinas took most of them toward Heidelberg to scout and skirmish with the Easterlings.
  • Thranduil replied with longbows, spears, armor, and arrows, promised to guard the Running River, and requested supplies and wine in return.
  • Allen decided to lend Thranduil's oversized Elven plate armor to the Dúnedain Rangers, and half a month later Thorin's reply arrived with an offer of even greater assistance.

Ch. 147Preparing for battle, part two

Allen prepared for the war against the Easterlings by securing Thorin II’s military support and strengthening his resources through the Simulator. While hiding from the Druya Cult in the Fantasy Continent, he discovered a treasure ruin, obtained the Sky Stone, and found that the Star Horn pointed toward another gemstone.

  • Thorin II agreed to send Dáin with a thousand Dwarven infantry, lead four hundred Goat Riders with Kili and Fili, and supply Allen with armor before the war.
  • Allen raised money and equipment by restoring Sunno’s trade routes and hunting Druya followers, then dismissed most of his companions and hid with Momocha in the Vaegir forests.
  • Allen and Momocha tracked Druya soldiers into a cave near Sharpshade and found them fighting two Trolls in a treasure hall.
  • Allen destroyed the hall’s oil lamps, causing the Trolls to vanish, then killed the remaining Druya soldiers and claimed the Sky Stone.
  • Allen took the Star Horn from a wooden chest, and it revealed that he should camp in the desert near the lake to the southwest when the stars shone.

Ch. 148The Easterlings' Situation

Allen tested Eye of the Sky and Chain Lightning before returning to Zendar and ending his Fantasy Continent simulation to focus on the coming war. Ashur continued expanding his power in Rhovanion and prepared to invade south, unaware that Allen had gathered intelligence and was preparing to strike first.

  • Allen used Eye of the Sky to locate Momocha, then tested Chain Lightning on Snowfield Bandits and killed or incapacitated more than a dozen of them.
  • After returning to Zendar, Allen learned that the Druya Cult had eased its pursuit, though only about half of his former followers had returned to him, and he ended the simulation to prepare for war.
  • Ashur established Chariot City as his main base, attracted nearly ten small Rhun tribes to Rhovanion, and planned to cross the Running River and invade the southern regions.
  • Bal consolidated control of Red River Town after fleeing Grim, while Ashur chose to tolerate his growing independence and waited for a chance to bring him under control.
  • Kurda settled in Ironwall Town, and Ashur strengthened him despite his defeat at Lake-town and his retreat from the battle in which Khamûl disappeared.
  • After learning that Northern Men were scouting his territory, Ashur stationed two warlords near Heidelberg but continued preparing his southern conquest, unaware Allen was readying an attack.

Ch. 149War began

Allen completed his preparations to invade Eastern Rhovanion and sent intelligence to Thorin II and Thranduil, announcing that the war would begin in a month. After that month passed, he ordered a surprise attack on an Easterling camp and told his commanders to let no one escape.

  • Allen equipped his forces with armor and weapons, assembled recruits and allied troops, and used ten honor points to obtain Noldor Rangers, Noldor Maiden Rangers, Gryphon Knights, Mettenheim Deathseeking Warriors, and Sapphire Rune Bows.
  • Allen judged that his army could challenge Ashur's forces but sought to avoid a costly pitched battle against the Easterlings' potentially vast army.
  • Allen sent Gael and Baren to deliver intelligence to Thorin II and Thranduil and told them he would begin the war in one month.
  • After the month passed, a young girl used her night hawk, Little Gray, to confirm that no Easterling sentries remained near the camp.
  • Allen ordered the girl to tell Firentis and Alayen to attack and instructed Hollimion to let no one escape.

Ch. 150The First Camp

Alayen’s force launched a night assault on Rabat’s Easterling camp, using the battle to train its inexperienced Recruits while keeping Rabat waiting for reinforcements. As Klethi and Grim led a charge through the eastern gate, Rabat’s defenders began to flee.

  • Hollimion’s cavalry and a night hawk scout eliminated the Easterling patrols, allowing Alayen’s force of more than two thousand to approach the camp undetected.
  • Alayen’s archers killed the sentries, and Recruits battered down the gates while elite infantry fought into the camp and killed two hundred defenders.
  • Rabat saw the attackers’ numbers, blamed Ashur for misleading him, and sent chariots to ask Bamund for help as he gathered his elite warriors to defend himself.
  • Alayen held back his troops under Allen’s orders, leaving the northern gate open and letting the Recruits gain battlefield experience while the sides remained locked in a standoff.
  • Klethi arrived riding Grim and said Firentis had taken the cavalry and Allen had ordered the battle finished quickly; she then charged through the eastern gate as the Easterlings fled from Grim.

Ch. 151News of the Blue Wizard

Allen’s forces defeated the Easterlings at the camp, and Allen’s Chain Lightning drove Rabat and his elite soldiers to surrender. Rabat revealed that the Blue Wizard Alatar had once urged his tribe to resist Sauron, and Allen ordered the prisoners sent to Heidelberg before riding north to reinforce Bunduk.

  • Grim, the Gryphon Knights, and the Mettenheim Death Swordfighters broke through the eastern, western, and southern gates, while Brendan blocked the northern exit with a fire built from the ruined gate.
  • Allen advanced on Rabat’s position with his elite troops as the Recruits guarded nearly a thousand surrendered Easterlings and Klethi gathered freed slaves.
  • Rabat planned to capture Allen, but Allen struck his soldiers with Chain Lightning, killing many and forcing Rabat and his elites to surrender.
  • Rabat told Allen that the Blue Wizard Alatar had visited his tribe and spoken against Sauron, and Allen recognized that the Blue Wizards might still be working against the Dark Lord.
  • Allen ordered Brendan to escort the prisoners to Heidelberg and then led the rest of his forces north to reinforce Bunduk.

Ch. 152The end

Firentis ambushed Bamund's reinforcements in the wilderness, where his Heavy Cavalry and Abinas's horse archers routed and slaughtered the Easterlings. Firentis killed Bamund and ordered his troops to kill every enemy still holding a weapon.

  • Firentis led his cavalry to intercept Bamund's force between the Easterling camps, while Abinas prepared to attack its chariots and cavalry.
  • Bamund spotted Abinas's golden-armored horsemen and ordered his cavalry and chariots to charge west as Firentis's Heavy Cavalry struck the marching infantry from the east.
  • Firentis's charge smashed through the Easterling spear formation, and he ordered his cavalry to pursue the fleeing survivors.
  • Abinas's tribespeople surrounded Bamund's force and showered it with arrows, killing his guards and overturning his chariot.
  • Firentis pinned Bamund to the ground with a javelin and ordered his troops to kill every enemy still holding a weapon.

Ch. 153The plan

Allen’s forces captured Bamund’s camp after a fierce battle, and Allen assessed the casualties and organized the camp as a forward base. He outlined a strategy to weaken Ashur’s Easterling tribes through rapid, coordinated strikes before Ashur could assemble a larger army.

  • Bunduk and Wulf captured Bamund’s camp after fierce resistance, killing most of its defenders and freeing the slaves who had been held there.
  • Allen arrived at the camp, heard Bunduk’s account of the battle, and ordered the dead soldiers’ remains returned to Wilderness Town while the wounded, freed slaves, and captives received care and arrangements.
  • Allen ordered Bamund’s camp fortified as a bridgehead, using its supplies and captured armor, valuables, and horses to rest and equip his army.
  • Allen told his subordinates that his forces could not defeat all the Easterling tribes in a direct battle, and explained that Thorin’s Dwarves would besiege Kurda in Ironwall Town before moving south.
  • Allen laid out a plan to use elite cavalry, animal scouts, and the Skin-changers to strike scattered Easterling tribes quickly, prevent messengers from reaching Ashur, and weaken his forces before besieging Ashur’s main camp.
