Light and shadow shifted slowly across the screen, following Kohaku's brisk steps as the scene extended toward a village deep in the mountains.
With Kohaku leading the way, Li Xiang and Senku walked side by side until Ishigami Village finally came into view in the distance.
As they walked, Kohaku explained softly, "My older sister is the Priestess of Ishigami Village. Her name is Ruri. She's been sickly since she was little, so I go to the hot springs every day to bring back hot water for her body."

Outside the screen, Ginro flushed with indignation and immediately protested, looking thoroughly unconvinced. "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?! What do you mean, 'a rare sight'?! I'm always serious and dependable, okay?!"
As soon as he finished, Li Xiang, sitting nearby, coolly twisted the knife. "You can't stay serious for more than three minutes. Want to bet?"
