Yuri realized he had nearly said something that would expose his identity and hastily changed tack:
"Uh... what I mean is..."
Unable to get another word out, Yuri beat a hasty retreat, swaying from side to side down the hallway. He still remembered to leave one last threat:

"And you too, you little brat-" By the time Yuri finished that last line, he had already reached the corner, where he accidentally hit the wall with a bang. The three people at home could barely hear him anymore.
Richie's psychic power swept straight in. Reading minds from a distance was no challenge for him.
So that was it. He wanted Father executed. If Father made Mother cry, Uncle would kill him. How vicious.
But why had his young uncle shot him such a fierce glare at the end? Richie didn't understand.
