The cultivators understood at once. "True, those Spirit Monsters and New-Method Cultivators are just like chives-cut down one crop, and another grows!"
"For them to sacrifice themselves for the great undertaking of purifying the Lower Court would count as boundless merit."
The cultivators were about to return to the Real World and expend resources to cultivate new Yin Spirits to descend.
Just then, a horn suddenly sounded from atop the enclosing wall.
Everyone looked over and saw Evil surging deep within the wall, parting to either side.
Then an enormous carriage appeared.
The carriage seemed to emerge from deep within the wall, approaching them little by little.
As the carriage appeared, the many hideous Evils actually sprouted legs and feet, kneeling on the ground and trembling.
Ahead of the carriage, Evils rode distorted creatures-fierce tigers, leopards, elephants, and the like-as they raced along, clad in heavy armor and wielding sharp blades, brimming with murderous intent.
Behind them came Evils swaying as they scattered crimson petals without cease.
Behind those came the carriage.
On the carriage, some Evils played wind, bowed, and plucked instruments or sang; others sang and danced, while still others held a canopy, carried incense burners, lifted lanterns, and so on.
The cultivators all frowned at the sight.
This procession was far too grand.
Wang Quan casually grabbed a head, pressed it onto his neck, and looked toward the carriage.
On the carriage, beneath the canopy, sat a sphere.
No, it was not a sphere, but an Evil covered in fat.
This Evil had a human face, smiling and quite amiable.
When Wang Quan looked at it, it ignored everyone else's gazes and met his eyes directly.
The cultivators had encountered similar things while clearing out the Cafeteria, so they did not panic and merely waited in silence.
