Background / History

Queen of the Desert Tribe

Medusa’s central ambition was to move the Snake-People Tribe out of the barren desert and secure fertile territory. She risked her life pursuing Dou Zong through Heavenly Flame evolution specifically to gain the strength needed to accomplish this 79.

After taking the Green Lotus Core Flame, she transformed into a giant purple snake and began evolving on the island within Snake People City. Lightning left her former body apparently lifeless, allowing Xiao Yan to collect the flame. Her newly formed Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python body nevertheless survived inside the ruined shell 57.

Captivity and Separation

Hun Changqing discovered the surviving python and took it away. Its newborn soul was attracted to his energy, while Medusa’s original soul remained present and could witness what happened through the little snake. When Medusa reappeared, she attacked him in anger over being taken from her tribe and kept as a pet 78 265 267.

Hun Changqing suppressed her Dou Qi, forced her to swallow a Transformation Pill, and threatened to annihilate the Snake-People Tribe when she threatened self-destruction. Their later preparations included obtaining a Seven-Colored Origin Stone and condensing blood into pure Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python origin blood.
