Tang Yan reunited with Zhong Jinxiu, manipulated the conflict between the Otherworld Ruins, Divine Clan, and Gu Race, and prepared Fengnan Island as a trap for the Ruins’ Heavenly Venerables. The arc ended with Qin Shan identifying Tang Yan as the suspected force behind the turmoil and the God King calling for his capture.

• Tang Yan returned to the Sword Alliance with the Pill Sage’s inheritance, distributed other inheritances to his allies, and helped Xiang Xiaoyu create Void Child Pearls and linked Communication Devices.
• Tang Yan infiltrated Jiwang Valley, captured Sunken Whale and Di Chan with Rao Baoyue’s help, and uncovered the Divine Clan’s Earth Abyss Passage.
• Tang Yan met Zhong Haobai, reached his imprisoned mother Zhong Jinxiu, healed her, and later rescued her from the Otherworld Ruins before threatening the Ruins as Zhong Tianyin.

• Ji Yinzhou rejected the Eight Great Houses’ demands and had Jun Ting’s delegation killed, prompting Tang Yan to advise a delayed attack while he prepared traps on Fengnan Island.
• The Demon Sect accepted resources from both the Otherworld Ruins and the Eight Great Houses while claiming to serve neither side.
• Tang Yan trapped Pureblood Heavenly Venerable on Fengnan Island, learned the Otherworld Ruins’ strength, and sent him into the magma to seek the Purifying Spirit Flame.

Tang Yan survived the Nether Domain as a Divine Soul and gathered strength from the bones of the dead while the Human Clan united against invading races. As Lin Dongxue advanced and the Great Age approached, Tang Yan was exposed at the Dao Sect, where sect experts and the leaders of nine Other Races converged.

• Tang Yan disguised himself among the forces attacking the Otherworld Ruins, helped turn the battle, and joined the assault that defeated Ji Yinzhou’s forces.
• Tang Yan entered the Nether Domain to attack Giant Strength Heavenly Venerable, shattered its vortex with the Heaven-Earth Creation Cauldron, and was presumed dead.
• Tang Wutian, Zhong Jinxiu, and their allies mourned Tang Yan while Du Shu persuaded the Demon Sect and the Eight Great Houses to unite against the Other Races.
• Lin Dongxue rebuilt her Sentimental Dao around her memories of Tang Yan, and Zi Yun set out to claim the Dragon Clan and ally it with the Human Clan.
