• Ouyang helped Tu Yun choose her identity, named White Nine Tails Green Mound, and reunited with Hu Tutu before leaving her in Chang Suzhen’s care.
• Ouyang returned to the Azure Cloud Sect and helped Little Bie San pursue cultivation, shielding him from heavenly punishment as his body transformed.
• Dongxu Zi showed Ouyang the River of Time and revealed that the Seven Azure Cloud Disciples planned to sacrifice themselves against ancient threats in the coming Great Calamity.

Ouyang intervened in the clash between Li Taibai and a black hand, and the story left Leng Qingsong asking whether Ouyang was Ouyezi.

Leng Qingsong discovered the Devil Realm and the Immortals’ role in the folded worlds, then opened the Great Dao and entered the River of Time while Bai Feiyu prepared to oppose him if he sided with the Immortals.

• Leng Qingsong saw that Ouyang had taken on the suffering meant to change his brothers’ fates, but Ouyang arranged to have him exiled into chaos to protect him and draw out hidden enemies.
• Ouyang gave up his eyes to secure Chen Changsheng’s future, pretended to be senile to mislead the hidden Immortals, and flew toward the inverted Demon Realm while Little Bie San stayed behind.
• Chongming urged Zu Yuan to lead the Devil Race, and Zu Yuan began winning the Twelve Tribes’ recognition, starting with the Gonggong Clan.
• Zu Yuan found Ouyang among the Zhurong Clan, traveled with him across the Demon Realm, and entered the Di Jiang Clan’s recorded history to learn the Devil Race’s past.
