"I finally caught you!"

Lin En was feeling utterly euphoric.

(〃´皿`)q

Because right in front of him, in that room shrouded in black mist, a tall, silver-haired woman radiating dazzling light had finally been subjected to his ultimate imprisonment.

The woman stared coldly, gritting her teeth as she kept attacking the surrounding black mist, trying to break free.

But without a doubt, it didn't do a damn thing.

As time passed, urgency and frustration slowly crept into her eyes. Every attack that struck the intangible black mist sank like a stone into the sea, without stirring so much as a ripple.

"If you've got the guts, let me out! Fight me head-on! Hiding like this only proves how vile and shameless you are! Get out here!!"

Her clear, cold shouts kept ringing out from the room.

But there was no way Lin En would go in.

"Who do you think you are? Some cute little girl?!"

He'd finally caught her after all that trouble.

If he didn't show her what he was capable of, she'd think he was only three centimeters long!

And whenever he thought about everything he'd endured over the past ten years...

Lin En ground his teeth, seething with anger.

A fine young man like him had transmigrated to this godforsaken place ten years ago. Before he'd even figured out what was going on, he'd merely gone out for a stroll, and this bitch had chopped him down with a single slash.

If he hadn't been able to keep coming back to life in this godforsaken place...

He would never have had a chance to take revenge!

And whenever he thought about his transmigration...

Another wave of resentment welled up inside him.

His gaze fell on the mirror he had pieced together in front of him.

The reflection in the mirror wasn't a perfectly ordinary young man like he'd been before, nor was it some scruffy middle-aged guy. It was a...

Tadpole.

That's right.

The sort of tadpole that swam merrily alongside tens of billions of brothers and sisters before finding its way inside its mother's belly-that was the conclusion he'd finally reached after repeated comparisons.

"Transmigration is one thing, but at least give me a human form. Even if I can't have that, at least don't make me a puddle of liquid."

Lin En remained calm, but he still couldn't help gritting his teeth and clenching his fists.

Fortunately, though...

After ten full years of evolution, he was no longer the tadpole he'd once been.

He was now a freakish tadpole the size of a goose egg, with one large eyeball embedded in his front and two little tentacles sticking out underneath.

As for the place he'd transmigrated to...

Honestly, he wasn't too sure himself.

At first, he'd arrived in a mass of thick, festering black mist. Beyond it lay what seemed to be a warped, anomalous region, somewhat like outer space, but filled with all sorts of twisted shapes. Only after that bitch had hacked him apart dozens of times had he learned from her roughly what sort of place he was in.

[Warp]

But he didn't actually know much about the specifics.

Because over those ten years, he'd devoted almost all his energy to dealing with that bitch!

At first, Lin En had merely wandered aimlessly beyond the black mist. Like a little girl, he'd been filled with fear of everything unknown. Then, when he wandered into a certain area, he saw it for the first time...

Light.

It was a magnificent sun.

Its scorching heat seemed capable of dispelling all the surrounding filth and evil.

And within that sun, Lin En had seen that bitch for the first time.

With waist-length hair like pure white smoke, a translucent figure, and eyes like crystal, she sat cross-legged in the deepest part of the sun, radiating boundless light and heat. She was like a Valkyrie who could bring an immense sense of security amid endless darkness.

That was the first time Lin En had seen a "human."

So he'd rushed over in excitement.

"Hey, cool-looking lady! Hel-"

Slash-

He still remembered that slash vividly. It had chopped him straight into more than a dozen pieces, like strips of spicy gluten sliced apart.

Lin En ground his teeth audibly.

Later, he'd figured his current appearance might have made her lose sanity, so he hadn't taken it to heart. He'd merely tried to communicate with her from a distance, at least to tell her he wasn't some monster.

But it hadn't done a damn thing.

Whenever he dared show himself...

A slash came straight at his face!

Later still, that bitch seemed to have discovered how difficult he was to kill. She'd actually started blocking the paths he frequented, intending to study and subdue him.

If he hadn't died so quickly, that bitch would definitely have imprisoned him and subjected him to inhuman humiliation and abuse!

And so...

After being hacked apart hundreds of times, Lin En had declared war on her.

Over ten full years, he'd finally figured out her attack patterns, as well as her habits.

He discovered that the woman seemingly couldn't leave that sun for too long. At regular intervals, she had to return and undergo some sort of rebirth or ritual inside it. If she stayed away too long, her power would visibly decline. To her, the surrounding environment seemed to be a sinister forbidden zone filled with poisonous mist.

He began plotting.

Because on several occasions, he'd noticed that whenever that bitch chased him back to the black mist that had birthed him, she would stop. She seemed wary of something and didn't dare venture deeper.

So Lin En took advantage of that.

And so...

A plan to lure the snake out of its hole was born.

Just one day earlier, when she once again chased Lin En all the way back to the black mist, he repeatedly taunted her. At last, he provoked the Valkyrie into charging close enough to the mist. He immediately seized his chance, expanding the black mist outward and forcibly dragging her inside its bounds.

"Bet you never thought you'd end up like this!"

Through the black mist, Lin En looked at the Valkyrie he'd imprisoned and finally vented some of his pent-up anger.

And now...

All he needed to do was wait for her power to decline.

Then he could go in and let her get a proper taste of everything he'd endured over the past ten years! Millions of slashes! She'd practically turned him into a masochist!

If he didn't get revenge, he'd spell his name backward!

(`皿´)ノ

Time flew by.

After Lin En kept her worn down for another dozen or so hours, he saw the light enveloping her fade away.

He knew it! The time had come!

Almost the very instant the glow faded from her body...

Clatter-

Chains formed from black mist shot out from all around her. Almost the instant she reacted, those pitch-black chains wrapped around her arms and legs.

They pulled tight.

Her pupils dilated instantly, and fury filled her eyes. Scorching light burst from her body as she tried to dissolve the chains.

"Don't waste your strength!"

Lin En emerged from the black mist, his dead-fish eyes brimming with malice.

"I've calculated your power precisely, and I've run lots and lots of simulations. Every time you reach this point, your power drops drastically. And terribly sorry, but my chains just happen to be a tiny bit stronger than you."

He held his little hands a tiny distance apart.

Clank-

As the chains abruptly tightened...

The Valkyrie's pale arms were instantly yanked behind her back, and her long legs were tightly bound. The creeping chains tied her into an extremely compromising position in the blink of an eye.

Her long hair fell across her chest. Fury instantly filled her eyes as she glared fixedly at Lin En, but her delicate face retained its icy expression.

"Release me."

"I'll warn you only once. When my power returns, I will kill you!"

Lin En thought for a moment, then immediately flipped her off. 凸(艹皿艹 )

"Haven't you killed me enough already?! You goddamn bitch! All I did back then was say hello, and you fucking (beep-) started hacking away without a word! Do you have any idea how I've survived all these years?! Bet you never imagined you'd end up in my hands one day!"

Payback!

This was pure payback!

The Valkyrie stared at him coldly and said through gritted teeth:

"An unholy abomination like you dares act insolently before me! Do you know who I am?!"

But before she could finish, her beautiful eyes flew wide. To her utter disbelief, a mass of strange black mist plugged her mouth.

"Mmph! Mmmph!!"

She struggled fiercely in anger, never having imagined he would dare be so insolent, but it didn't do a damn thing.

Lin En exhaled and said, his eyes as lifeless as a dead fish's:

"That's much better."
