Her blade traced an arc and pointed toward the very center of the Magic Formation. A Crimson Halo flickered, as though she had performed an extremely long-range Spatial Summoning.
Then, under Lin En's gaze, a metal box slowly materialized within it.
Clearly.
She had used this ritual formation to summon the item from the depths of the Spirit Realm.
Lin En's gaze flickered, and he asked:
"The Tyrant's flesh?"
The overlapping red silhouette calmly extended her hand. The box instantly flew into her grasp, and its lock fell away with a click.
"You should understand just how much an Outer God is worth. For Great Demons of this world like us, godhood is a concept that is both within reach and impossibly distant. Because of this world's restrictions, even if we gather all eighty-one sequences through human methods, we cannot advance any further. If we wish to ascend to godhood, we must find another way."
"And the easiest path is to inherit an Outer God's divine status. As long as we find the authority they left behind in this world, we can escape its unfair constraints on us and truly become evil gods of the Warp."
Click-
She slowly opened the box.
Inside lay a piece of pitch-black flesh bound by layer upon layer of seals. Even the faint wisps of aura leaking from it made the surrounding reality crackle with dense fractures.
She said calmly:
"Of the Seven Outer Gods, six left their corpses somewhere in this world."
"If you refuse to settle for mediocrity, perhaps you could use this flesh to gradually locate their long-buried corpses. Surely that would be more worthwhile than interfering with my grand plan here."
Lin En's gaze immediately focused on the piece of flesh.
A panel instantly appeared before his eyes.
