Ch. 238Ultra-long-distance Astral Teleportation Array

Over several centuries, new kingdoms rose on the Finoton Continent as Kanier, a mixed-ancestry mage, developed ultra-long-distance teleportation using Spacetime Beacons. Jiang Yuu made her an Angel, and she eventually opened a portal to a small Astral Realm world, setting the Angel Legion on the verge of an expedition.

Ch. 242As Though Glimpsing the Blazing Sun

Truth Wizard Arland tried to capture Sky City and its expeditionary troops, but the Elf demigod Carlos used a divine artifact to break Arland’s spatial cage. The confrontation remained unresolved as a full silver moon appeared in Nolan’s sky.

  • Truth Wizard Arland and Merlin inspected Sky City and decided to capture its inhabitants for questioning and research.
  • Raphael apologized and offered to leave, but Arland raised his Sky Scepter and trapped Sky City inside a small-world cage.
  • Carlos realized Arland intended to capture them and urged everyone to use their trump cards.
  • Carlos hurled a moon-disc divine artifact into the sky, summoning a full silver moon that shattered the cage.

Ch. 243Drawing His Sword Without Hesitation!

Arland turned the expeditionary army’s attacks back against Sky City and neutralized the Dawn Kingdom’s defense. Raphael then volunteered to cover the others’ escape, drawing his sword against Arland as the plan began.

  • Arland used Truth Witchcraft to reverse the Silver Moon Goddess’s scimitar attack toward Sky City.
  • A Human Race Demigod from the Dawn Kingdom used a golden spear to create a net of sunlight, but Arland stretched the sky and dispersed its attacks.
  • A Dark Elf proposed using the God of the Underworld’s artifact to conceal the group and flee into the world, while others noted they needed cover to escape.
  • Raphael volunteered to break the spacetime seal with the Purple Gold Divine Sword, and he told Monikon to activate the escape plan while Arthur Lionheart fled to contact his Lord.
  • Raphael stepped to Sky City’s edge and drew his sword at Arland, who waited for the expeditionary army’s next move.

Ch. 244Peerless and unrivaled!

Raphael’s pure-white sword strike gravely wounded Arland but failed to kill him, and Arland recognized the attack as a new path of power before ordering Merlin to seize Sky City. Inside the city, the Dark Elf Demigod unleashed a vast sphere of darkness.

  • Arland layered himself in Truth Witchcraft barriers, but Raphael’s pure-white sword light pierced them and tore open his chest.
  • Wizards and mortals across the Wizard World felt the sword’s overwhelming presence, while other Truth Wizards wondered what Arland had encountered.
  • Merlin rushed to Arland, who said Sky City’s strongest attack had been spent and ordered him to capture its people and preserve the city.
  • Arland told Merlin he had found a way to counter the sword and dismissed the gods as a threat outside their own world.
  • The Dark Elf Demigod threw out a dark sphere inside Sky City, spreading a vast curtain of darkness across the sky.

Ch. 245Blow up this city!

As Merlin approached Sky City, the angels stayed behind to cover the others’ retreat and refused to surrender the city. Raphael ordered Temiersi to destroy Sky City, and she struck its core as it began to glow orange-red.

  • The elves, dwarves, and two human Demigods fled Sky City through teleportation arrays, while the angels remained behind.
  • Raphael told the departing forces that the angels would sacrifice themselves to cover the retreat, and Arthur Lionheart saluted them before leaving.
  • Merlin dispelled the fading dark canopy and approached Sky City, offering to spare the angels if they surrendered the city.
  • Raphael refused Merlin’s offer and led the angels in a charge against him.
  • Raphael shouted for Temiersi to blow up Sky City, and she plunged her flaming sword into the city’s core.

Ch. 246Farmer Arthur

Merlin captured Sky City and its angel warriors for the Wizard Civilization, while Arland planned to exploit the angels and lure their allies into an attack.
