Chapters 51–75 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 51The Goblin Great Sage chose the emperor

Asa Amigel’s rebellion advanced with Jiang Yuu’s support, while the other four princes closed in on Proadas and brought down Milan Amigel’s rule. After Azeba stopped the princes from fighting over the devastated capital, he summoned them to choose one as emperor by asking each a question.

  • Asa Amigel asked Jiang Yuu for help, and Jiang Yuu agreed to send troops with him.
  • Jiang Yuu’s ten thousand Winged People helped Asa’s army avoid defeat at the Amber River, but the other four princes’ advances and a Griffin Knight attack later shattered the emperor’s forces and killed Thorn.
  • The five princes marched on Proadas, captured the city, and fought over the throne after Milan Amigel disappeared.
  • The princes’ armies clashed in the city, killing many Goblin residents, until the Demigod Azeba forced them to stop.
  • Azeba summoned the five princes to the Imperial Palace and announced that he would choose an emperor based on each prince’s answer to one question.

Ch. 52What Was the Empire Founded Upon?

The Goblin Great Sage tested five princes on the foundation of the Goblin Empire, and Asa Amigel answered that it was the goblins’ pursuit of knowledge and progress. Azeba declared Asa the Empire’s destined sovereign and acknowledged him as Emperor.

  • The Goblin Great Sage asked the princes to explain what the Empire was founded upon.
  • Outside the palace, Jiang Yuu reassured the anxious Lionheart that Asa would succeed.
  • The Fifteenth, Eighteenth, Twenty-First, and Twenty-Fifth Princes offered military might, a Demigod, victory over the Titans, and the goblin people as the Empire’s foundation.
  • Asa Amigel recalled Milo Azeba’s advice and answered that knowledge and the pursuit of progress had enabled the Empire’s founding.
  • Azeba praised Asa’s answer and publicly proclaimed him Emperor of the Empire.

Ch. 53Bolek Fief

The chapter recounts Lionheart’s rise as count of the Bolek Fief and the Goblin Empire’s recovery under Asa Amigel. It ends with Fiona’s death and the death of the empire’s third emperor.

  • Asa Amigel was crowned the third emperor, sent the four princes to rule distant duchies, punished rebels, and rewarded his supporters.
  • Jiang Yuu named the Winged People’s southern land Lomanda, while Lionheart received a developed river plain and named his fief Bolek.
  • Lionheart later exchanged the Rhine Fief for the Boman Fief, merging both territories into the expanded Bolek Fief.
  • Asa Amigel pursued conciliation with other races but feared Great Sage Azeba’s influence and never became a Legendary.
  • In Year 350, Fiona died in the Bolek Fief after asking Lionheart to bury her beneath an osmanthus tree and inscribe “An elder sister filled with guilt!” on her gravestone.
  • In Year 567, Asa Amigel died in the Imperial Palace at the age of four hundred and ninety-three.

Ch. 54The Throne Realm!

Lionheart expanded the Human Race northward while the Winged People grew under the leadership of new Legendaries. Jiang Yuu developed his plan to enter the Throne Realm, but waited for an opportunity to forge his Sky Throne as a plague struck Feland.

  • After Fiona's death, Lionheart had three sons and one grandson, and the Human Race had grown to five hundred thousand people.
  • Lionheart chose to campaign against the Kobolds as he expanded northward from the Bolek Fief.
  • Sophia returned to the Eastern Sea Coast as a Legendary, and thirty years later her sister Aeryta also advanced to Legendary.
  • By Asa Amigel's death, the Winged People numbered about two million one hundred thousand across their settlements.
  • Jiang Yuu planned to forge a Sky Throne and divine sword so he could seize the Authority of Thunder and enter the Throne Realm.
  • In the year 694 of the Goblin Empire Calendar, a plague swept across Feland.

Ch. 55The plateau

One year before the plague, a frost giant found an ice coffin beneath the Central Ice Sea on the Northern Icelands Plateau and unwittingly awakened a powerful woman dressed in red. After taking fish from the sea and giving them to him, she departed, leaving the giant to carry his haul back to his tribe.

  • A frost giant fishing in the Central Ice Sea dug an ice coffin from beneath the seabed.
  • The coffin melted on shore, and a beautiful red-robed woman awoke and asked the frost giant if he had awakened her.
  • The woman surveyed the plateau, then used scarlet threads to pull many large fish from the sea, draining much of their blood.
  • The red-robed woman gave the fish to the frost giant and left in a streak of red light.
  • After confirming she was gone, the frost giant dragged the largest fish toward his tribe.

Ch. 56Blood Plague

The red-robed woman discovered that Goblins had occupied human sanctuaries and learned that her sister and the other humans had been exploited after awakening. Seeking revenge, she released a blood plague that spread across the continent and infected every race.

  • The red-robed woman surveyed the continent and found traces of Previous Era human civilization in the Goblin Empire.
  • At Sanctuary No. 490, she killed almost every Goblin with the Blood Canopy and captured the wounded Legendary Goblin.
  • The Legendary Goblin told her that Goblins had used the awakened humans as tools and that her sister had been forced to marry the Goblin Emperor.
  • The red-robed woman killed the Legendary Goblin and decided to use a blood plague against the Goblins, making it nonlethal to humans.
  • After testing the plague, she released it in a Northern Border Goblin city, and it spread across the continent, infecting every race, including the Winged People.

Ch. 57How the Continent's Races Responded

The blood plague spread across the continent, devastating the goblins and infecting the Winged People and humans in the Bolek Fief. Jiang Yuu and other leaders tried to contain it and study its effects as infected people began showing unexpected mutations.

  • The plague spread across the continent, and Great Sage Azeba and Frey Amigel devoted the Goblin Empire’s resources to finding a cure as its population fell by half.
  • After the plague reached Rosendas, Limiel alerted Jiang Yuu, who closed the Nine Passes and ordered infected Winged People isolated, but half his people had already contracted it.
  • Many Winged People died or became red-eyed, fanged infected beings, while a small number recovered; Jiang Yuu gathered scholars and alchemists to research a treatment.
  • In the Bolek Fief, most infected humans eventually returned to normal, but several thousand developed blood-related Transcendent power, sunlight sensitivity, and a craving for blood.
  • Infected members of the Lionheart Family gained stronger Transcendent power and could intimidate ordinary infected people, while other races experienced changes similar to the Winged People.

Ch. 58Vivian

Vivian arrived in the Bolek Fief and discovered that her blood plague had created a community of infected people who recognized her as their sovereign. She went to Bolek City to find Lionheart, learned he was her late sister Fiona’s son, and asked him to take her to Fiona’s grave.

  • After the plague’s spread was contained, Vivian traveled to the Bolek Fief to recover and arrived in Peter Town on January 3.
  • Human guards directed Vivian to the Dumanklin District, where thousands of infected bowed to her when she revealed her presence as the True Progenitor of Blood.
  • Vivian learned that the infected descended from the Lionheart Family and flew to Bolek City to find Lionheart.
  • Vivian introduced herself to Lionheart as Fiona’s younger sister and offered to take the infected away from the humans.
  • Lionheart explained that his father was the king of the Winged People, not the Goblin Emperor, and agreed to take Vivian to Fiona’s grave.

Ch. 59The Birth of the Blood Race

Vivian visited Fiona’s grave, then took the infected away from the Lionheart Family and founded the Blood Race. She left with thousands of new clanspeople, intending to find them a homeland and eventually march on the Goblin capital.

  • Vivian visited Fiona’s grave and, moved by its epitaph, resolved to avenge her sister.
  • Vivian left Lionheart a drop of true blood and revealed that she had spread the plague to exterminate the Goblins.
  • Lionheart agreed to let Vivian take the infected, who had become increasingly difficult for the family to support.
  • Vivian told Lionheart she would establish a separate race from the infected and later march on the Goblin capital.
  • Vivian gathered the infected in Dumanklin District, named them the Blood Race, and declared herself their Ancestor.
  • The infected celebrated their new identity and followed Vivian as their leader.

Ch. 60The Goblin Origin!

Vivian established the Blood Race on the Western Sea Coast and created two professions, while the Goblin Empire discovered a potion that cured the plague. The cure transformed many goblins into Feral Goblins, whom the emperor exiled to the wilderness.

  • In Year 697, Vivian led thousands of infected and mutated humans away from the Bolek Fief and established the Blood Race on the Western Sea Coast.
  • Vivian taught the Blood Race to wield blood power and created the Blood Race Knight and Blood Rager professions before going into seclusion to recover.
  • In Proadas City, the alchemist Demaijia discovered that a potion made from a toxic substance and Moonlight Grass curbed the plague.
  • The Great Sage Azeba distributed the potion, and within three months it had saved thirty million goblins and helped one million infected individuals recover.
  • The cured goblins underwent drastic changes, losing intelligence and becoming violent, cave-dwelling Feral Goblins.
  • The Goblin Emperor ordered the Feral Goblins banished from cities and villages and exiled to the wilderness.

Ch. 61Werewolves

The Shadowwood Clan's Trolls recovered from the Blood Plague after receiving Demaijia Potion, but later transformed into wolf-like beings who went berserk under the full moon. Unable to stop their attacks, the clan exiled them to the wilds and called them Werewolves.

  • The Blood Plague devastated the Shadowwood Clan, which obtained tens of thousands of doses of Demaijia Potion from the Goblins.
  • The infected Trolls recovered, but three months later grew thick fur, toxic tusks, and beastlike features.
  • On full-moon nights, the transformed Trolls became wolf-men and attacked those around them without distinction.
  • The clan's alchemists traced the full-moon frenzy to Moonlight Grass in the potion but could not cure it.
  • After many clansmen died and the Goblins could not help, the Shadowwood Clan exiled the transformed Trolls and named them Werewolves.

Ch. 62Gargoyles

After the Demaijia Potion transformed many infected Winged People into nocturnal creatures, Jiang Yuu kept them within the Winged People and named them Gargoyles. With the plague resolved, he began forging the Sword of Thunder to hold the law of suppression.

  • Jiang Yuu brought a hundred thousand doses of Demaijia Potion to the infected Winged People, but three months later many had become hideous, featherless creatures that slept by day and hunted at night.
  • After learning that the potion's side effects had also created Feral Goblins and Werewolves, Jiang Yuu decided not to exile the transformed Winged People.
  • Jiang Yuu moved nearly a hundred thousand transformed Winged People into a vacant Mountain City in Lomanda and named them Gargoyles.
  • Jiang Yuu stationed two powerful Gargoyles at White Stone Fortress and formed a late-night force of Gargoyles to protect the Winged People.
  • Jiang Yuu took Thunder Titan Atri's thighbone to the Dwarf Kingdom to trade for rare metals and forging knowledge, then began forging the Sword of Thunder in October of Year 700 of the Goblin Empire Calendar.

Ch. 63Sword of Thunder

Jiang Yuu forged a Fabled-grade sword from the Thunder Titan’s thighbone and other materials, then flew into the high heavens to investigate the silver moon. He reached the boundary of the Astral Realm but could not approach the moon because its Law of the Moon and repelling force overwhelmed him.

  • Jiang Yuu melted the Thunder Titan’s thighbone with rare materials and forged a purple-gold longsword infused with the Law of Thunder.
  • The system announced that Jiang Yuu had forged a Fabled-grade weapon, and he tested the sword before putting it away.
  • Jiang Yuu decided to investigate the silver moon as a possible creation for his future Throne and flew above the clouds.
  • Jiang Yuu climbed to the boundary of the Astral Realm, where he saw the enormous silver moon orbiting the world.
  • The moon’s powerful Law of the Moon and repelling force stopped Jiang Yuu from approaching, while remaining near it steadily drained his power.

Ch. 64Silver Moon

Jiang Yuu retreated from the harsh world beyond the Silver Moon and decided to remain within its reach until he could raise his Sky Throne. He returned to Paradise Mountain, while a goddess stirred briefly inside the Silver Moon.

  • Jiang Yuu found that the world beyond the Silver Moon was saturated with clashing laws and too harsh for him to endure.
  • Jiang Yuu returned beneath the Silver Moon, where his will let him withstand its immense pressure.
  • Jiang Yuu decided to wait for an opportunity to raise his Sky Throne and recalled that an unfamiliar Demigod would attack the Goblin Empire in the year 1000 of its calendar.
  • Jiang Yuu flew back to Paradise Mountain on the Eastern Sea Coast.
  • After Jiang Yuu left, a silver-haired goddess briefly opened her eyes inside the Silver Moon, and manifestations of the Law of the Silver Moon surrounded her.

Ch. 65Sophia Archipelago

Jiang Yuu prepared a Sky Throne on Paradise Mountain while the Winged People gained a fourth Legendary with Little Turtle’s advancement. In year 735, Sophia led Winged People to settle a distant island chain that became known as the Sophia Archipelago.

  • Jiang Yuu forged a Throne on Paradise Mountain’s summit, infused it with part of his soul, and strengthened it with Blue Stone powder.
  • In year 731, Little Turtle became the Violet Lightning Turtle Sage after centuries of cultivation and help from Sophia and Aeryta.
  • The Winged People’s four Legendaries guarded Rosendas, Lomanda, and the Heavenly Mountain branch, enabling further expansion.
  • In year 735, Sophia led Winged People across the Eastern Sea to settle a crescent-shaped chain of islands.
  • The newly settled islands became known as the Sophia Archipelago.

Ch. 66Sea Giants

Jiang Yuu led ten thousand Winged People back to the Sophia Archipelago to confront the Sea Giants after they had driven Sophia’s people away and inflicted heavy losses. The Sea Giants challenged the returning army, and Jiang Yuu drew his sword as the battle began.

  • The Sea Giants, led by three Legendary chieftains, attacked Sophia’s Winged People and forced her to retreat to Rosendas.
  • Jiang Yuu decided to lead an expedition against the Sea Giants and crossed the sea with ten thousand elite Winged People.
  • The Sea Giants spotted the returning Winged People and raised waves as their chieftain condemned them for returning to the islands.
  • Jiang Yuu rejected the Sea Giants’ claim to the entire archipelago and vowed they would pay for harming his people.
  • Jiang Yuu drew the Purple Gold Longsword, and thunder exploded across the sky.

Ch. 67Thunderous God of War, conquest of the archipelago

Jiang Yuu defeated the Sea Giant leader and forced the remaining Sea Giants to submit. He assigned the Sea Giants and Winged People different parts of the archipelago and ordered the Sea Giants to rebuild the destroyed city, while he remained on Victory Island.

  • Jiang Yuu summoned his Legendary domain and led more than ten thousand Winged People in an attack on the Sea Giants.
  • The Sea Giant leader wielded a blue bone scepter to summon a massive seawater giant, but Jiang Yuu dodged its strikes and killed him.
  • The two remaining Legendary Sea Giants and their people knelt and surrendered to Jiang Yuu.
  • Jiang Yuu assigned the Sea Giants to the head of the archipelago and the Winged People to its tail, and ordered the Sea Giants to rebuild the destroyed city.
  • Jiang Yuu had Andike retrieve the blue bone scepter and named the island Victory Island and its new city Victory City.

Ch. 68Lionheart died, the Behemoths marched south

The Behemoths marched south under Amond, conquering the Northern Desert and invading the Goblin Empire, prompting Emperor Guna Amigel to assemble an allied army. As the armies faced off at Aides City, Proadas encountered an unexpected crisis.

  • Sophia returned to the islands to govern the archipelago, while Jiang Yuu went back to Paradise Mountain to cultivate the Law of Radiance.
  • Mozer died while ascending to Demigod, and Larl Mozer's rebellion was crushed; the Mozer Family was slaughtered, and Ende Amigel took over as Grand Duke of the Western Border.
  • Sophia and Aeryta chose to pursue the mortal path to Legendary, while an alchemist's accident in Black Forest City led to the first death spirits on the Feland Continent.
  • Lionheart died without reaching Demigod, and Jiang Yuu attended his funeral before leaving after three days beside the osmanthus tree.
  • Amond led the Behemoths south, conquered the Northern Desert, and invaded the Goblin Empire with an army he claimed numbered one million.
  • Guna Amigel rallied troops against the Behemoths, Jiang Yuu sent a Winged People legion, and both armies gathered at Aides City as Proadas faced a crisis.

Ch. 69Amond Solid Ice

Vivian built up Amond Solid Ice and the Solid Ice Tribe, then allied with him to attack the Goblin Empire. As Amond’s army marched on Feland and Vivian’s Blood Race assault devastated Proadas, she confronted Great Sage Azeba in a Demigod battle that left the city in ruins; the chapter ended with Jiang Yuu seated on the White Gold Throne at Paradise Mountain.

  • Vivian abandoned her effort to train the Frost Giants, chose the Behemoths, and helped the defeated Solid Ice Tribe recover and grow stronger.
  • Vivian raised Amond Solid Ice, created the Behemoth Knight class, and appointed him chief to lead campaigns across the Icelands Plateau.
  • Amond conquered tribes, rose to Legendary Tier, and built a population of a hundred thousand before agreeing to march south with Vivian against the Goblin Empire.
  • In 1003, Amond led his army south, while Vivian and several thousand Blood Race elites attacked Proadas and killed the Goblin lord of the Rhine Fief.
  • Vivian fought Great Sage Azeba above Proadas as the city was devastated, and she learned that it was the embryonic form of his Earthly Divine Kingdom.
  • At Paradise Mountain, Jiang Yuu sat upon the White Gold Throne.

Ch. 70Raise the Throne on High!

Jiang Yuu raised Paradise Mountain into the heavens and used his champion’s will to forge the Judgment Law by subduing the Authority of Thunder. He attained the Throne Realm, while Vivian and Azeba continued fighting below and the White Gold Throne shone beside the Silver Moon.

  • Jiang Yuu lifted the summit of Paradise Mountain toward the Silver Moon as a hundred thousand Winged People hailed him and Sophia, Aeryta, and Wang Xiaoba followed.
  • Jiang Yuu ascended alone into the heavens, drew the Purple Gold Longsword, and shattered the forming Authority of Thunder with his champion’s will.
  • Vivian and Azeba sensed heaven and earth urging them toward the Silver Moon but suppressed the call and resumed their battle above Proadas City.
  • Jiang Yuu drove the Purple Gold Longsword into the summit and fused the Sword of Judgment with the Authority of Thunder to forge the Judgment Law.
  • Jiang Yuu declared that he had attained the Throne Realm as the White Gold Throne blazed, and people across the continent saw a new white-gold moon beside the Silver Moon.

Ch. 71White Gold Moon

Jiang Yuu named his new advancement the Throne Realm and gained the White Gold Moon, drawing the World Will’s hostility and prompting powerful beings across the world to respond. Four Primordial Dragons set out to destroy the new moon while the others stayed behind to preserve their bloodline legacies.

  • Jiang Yuu named his new realm the Throne Realm and gained Judgment Law, three Throne traits, and the White Gold Moon, but the World Will permanently blessed him with its malice.
  • Heavy rain swept across the world as the World Will reacted to Jiang Yuu’s advancement.
  • Vivian and Azeba sensed the White Gold Moon during their battle, resisted the World Will’s call, and continued fighting each other.
  • The Primordial Dragons sensed the World Will’s alarm and saw the White Gold Moon appear beside the Silver Moon.
  • Tiamat and Bahamut stayed behind to continue the Dragon Bloodline Project while four Primordial Dragons left bloodline legacies for future Dragons.
  • Ladegete, Meisenlaite, and Weinasite joined a fourth Primordial Dragon in flying toward the White Gold Moon to destroy Jiang Yuu.

Ch. 72Empowered by the Throne, Judgment upon All Living Beings!

Jiang Yuu faced the Demigods drawn to the White Gold Moon after killing a Blue Light Sacred Whale and wounding a Flame Giant. When the four Primordial Dragons attacked, he invoked the Throne’s judgment and appeared before their strongest member.

  • A Flame Giant awoke in a volcano and set off toward the White Gold Moon, while a Blue Light Sacred Whale leaped from the Sky Sea and flew toward it.
  • Demigods across the world received the world's guidance; most ignored it, but several accepted and headed for the White Gold Moon.
  • The four Primordial Dragons arrived and saw Jiang Yuu standing before the White Gold Throne, with the Sacred Whale dead and the Flame Giant wounded beneath him.
  • The Primordial Dragons identified Jiang Yuu as the world's great enemy and attacked him together with their dragon breaths.
  • Jiang Yuu declared his will to be law, used the Throne's power to block their attack, and teleported to the strongest azure Primordial Dragon.

Ch. 73Composure like iron!

Vega Lionheart and other prophets sensed a catastrophic worldwide flood as the world's fury intensified. Above Paradise Mountain, Jiang Yuu killed Ladegete and drew the remaining Primordial Dragons into the White Gold Throne's range, where he fought them before charging into their combined attacks.

  • Vega Lionheart watched the White Gold Moon and feared that the world's malice would bring floods upon all living beings.
  • Jiang Yuu used the Thunder Authority and Judgment Law to overcome Ladegete's Growth Authority and behead him despite Mitelaite's attack.
  • The three surviving Primordial Dragons attacked Jiang Yuu, who retreated into the White Gold Throne's range to heal and strengthen himself.
  • Jiang Yuu wielded two swords and the Heavy Water Authority to batter the three Dragons, then advanced on Mitelaite through his Scarlet Inferno.
  • The other two Dragons trapped and attacked Jiang Yuu with Earth Mastery and Heaven and Earth Become Weapons as Mitelaite unleashed a pillar of flame.
  • Jiang Yuu shouted "White Gold Moon!" and charged fearlessly into the combined assault.

Ch. 74The birth of Dragonkin

Jiang Yuu killed Mitelaite and pursued the fleeing Weinasite, slaying her above a Kobold tribe. The Kobolds were transformed by her blood and looked up at Jiang Yuu as he stood over them with the two Primordial Dragons’ remains.

  • Jiang Yuu used the White Gold Throne and the White Gold Moon to interrupt the Primordial Dragons’ powers and cut off Mitelaite’s head.
  • Meisenlaite told Weinasite to flee while he covered her retreat, and Weinasite flew down toward the grasslands.
  • Weinasite reached a Kobold tribe, whose members recognized her as the Primordial Dragon their ancestors worshipped and bowed to her.
  • Jiang Yuu caught up with Weinasite and killed her with a strike of purple sword light.
  • Weinasite’s dragon blood drenched the Kobolds, transforming them into dragonlike beings, while Jiang Yuu appeared above them holding the dragons’ remains.

Ch. 75The Silver Moon Goddess

After killing the Primordial Dragon, Jiang Yuu returned to the heavens and tried to probe the Silver Moon, whose power violently expelled the White Gold Throne from its orbit. The upheaval left the moons separated, and Jiang Yuu recalled that a future Greater God was known as the Silver Moon Goddess.

  • Jiang Yuu carried the Primordial Dragon's head and corpse into the heavens, while the mutated Kobolds watched him depart in awe.
  • The Winged People celebrated when the White Gold Moon appeared beside the Silver Moon, though the world remained drenched by relentless rain.
