Lin Mo looked utterly innocent.

The two continued walking, and a small stall caught Lin Mo's eye.
A timid-looking cat-eared girl was crouching on the ground, with a cloth spread out before her. On it sat several clumps of aquatic plants that gave off a faint green glow.
Lin Mo stopped in his tracks.

He crouched down, trying to make his expression look as friendly as possible.
"Little girl, what... what are you selling?"
The cat-eared girl startled at him, the ears on her head twitching as she spoke nervously.
"I-it's Glowgrass, sir. Put it in water, and it can glow for days."
She had short, pale blue hair and fluffy ears. Though the princess dress she wore looked somewhat worn, it was fairly clean.
"That's amazing!" Lin Mo grew interested.
"All-natural, pollution-free, low energy consumption, and a long battery life. Badass!"
The cat-eared girl: "???"
She blinked her big, watery eyes.
"Sir, I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean."
Fendona had not wanted to approach, but then she remembered that Lin Mo did not seem to have any money on him. Worried he might cause more trouble, she could only step forward and ask quietly,
"Sir Lin Mo, would you like to buy some?"
Lin Mo waved a hand.
"No, I'm just looking at the cat-eared girl. What a rare sight."
Then he sincerely asked the cat-eared girl,
"May I touch your head?"
The cat-eared girl: "???"
Fendona: "!!!"
"No!" she immediately said loudly.
"Sir Lin Mo, you can't just touch Cat People's ears. That's extremely offensive!"
