On the night of the seventh day, Bai Yaoyao was the first to sense something amiss.
After telling her brothers to notify everyone to be on guard, she went out alone to scout the area.
She had barely left the base when she sensed overwhelming danger. Without thinking, she instinctively slipped into her space.
The next second, a deafening explosion erupted right where Bai Yaoyao had been standing, blasting the ground apart. Thick black fog instantly filled the surroundings, and a Level Eight Darkness Ability Zombie slowly emerged.
Discovering that Bai Yaoyao had vanished, the zombie actually curled its lips into a smile. "An interesting... human."
The moment Bai Yaoyao saw the black mist, she knew what ability the zombie possessed. If it could make her sense danger, it had to be Level 8.
No wonder Elder Chen's Precognition had shown the entire Dark Night Base being wiped out. Nothing else was needed-with this one Level Eight zombie alone, no one in the base could stand a chance.
It was already nighttime, after all, precisely the environment a Dark Ability favored.
So Bai Yaoyao prepared thoroughly, finding a dozen or so lamps. She transferred the lamps out of her space first, then cautiously followed them out.
Irritated by the glaring light, the Darkness Ability Zombie attacked the lamps first.
Seeing this when she emerged, Bai Yaoyao tossed out several dozen more lamps. She had plenty of those things. If you hate them, then I love them.
"Human! Let's talk. Stop this childish behavior. You can't defeat me!" The Darkness Ability Zombie simply stopped attacking the lamps.
The lamps only irritated the zombie; they did not actually hurt it, just as A-Dai disliked bright light.
Bai Yaoyao did not want to waste words on it. She only wanted to finish it
