• Arthur learned that nearly three thousand people from the Dragon Nation were hunting zombies near the coast and set out with his twelve level-eight knights and their retainers.
• On the way, Arthur killed a level-nine mutant with two strikes from his Holy Sword.
• Jin Yuanjiang warned Xia Haoran and Xiong Wenhui that Arthur’s force was approaching, and the group prepared to fight.
• Arthur wounded the transformed Xiong Wenhui with a sword strike and blasted more than a dozen members away with another attack.
• Chen Luo appeared, recognized the Holy Sword as possibly part of the armor set, and watched Arthur launch a black orb of energy at him.

Chen Luo seized Arthur’s Holy Sword, killed him, and used Space Storm to help his members defeat the Knight Order. After the battle, Xiong Wenhui found a blue-green crystal in Arthur’s body that appeared to be a nature King-Rank Crystal.

• Chen Luo redirected Arthur’s Dark Necromancy Orb into him, severed the hand holding the Holy Sword, and took the weapon.
• Chen Luo tested the Holy Sword’s sword energy, then killed Arthur with a single stroke.
• Chen Luo unleashed Space Storm against the charging Knight Order, leaving the battle to his members as his energy ran low.
• Chen Luo’s members defeated the remaining retainers and recovered crystals, though more than fifty members died.

Chen Luo tested the Armor Set and discovered that its pieces offered powerful defense, speed, and attack boosts, especially for Darkness users. After Kami overwhelmed Chen Luo, Dharma King, and Sea Ji in the armor, Chen Luo told Kami to take it off, but Kami was reluctant to give it back.

• Xiong Wenhui received a King-Rank Nature crystal from Chen Luo after pleading for it.
• Chen Luo returned to base, retrieved the armor from Long Yu, and assembled its helmet, Breastplate, shoes, and Holy Sword.
• Chen Luo and Dharma King tested the helmet and found it blocked Sea Ji's Darkness Intimidation, while Sea Ji found that the Holy Sword greatly strengthened her Dark Eye and reduced its esper energy cost.
• Kami put on the armor, and Chen Luo, Dharma King, and Sea Ji found that its defenses and speed let Kami withstand their attacks and outpace them.

Chen Luo kept Kami from claiming the armor, then planned to recruit people to search for its missing lower section. Meanwhile, the Oilheads and Brown Bears invaded the Dragon Nation, where a zombie attack surprised the Great Prophet’s forces.

• Kami decided against keeping the armor and handed it back to Chen Luo, who rewarded him with a carrot.
• Chen Luo assigned the armor to Long Yu for research and Sea Ji to practice with its weapon, then planned to pay people to search for the missing piece.
• The Great Prophet led a combined force of roughly six hundred thousand Oilheads and Brown Bears into the Dragon Nation to plunder its resources and seize its ability users.
• The Great Prophet prepared to crush the Dragon Nation’s main force and claimed he had invited the Turtle God to deal with its leader.
• A messenger warned the Great Prophet that level-eight zombies had attacked his flank and badly injured the level-seven fighters.

As the Great Prophet led the Oilheads and Brown Bears toward Dragon Nation to seize its crystals and strengthen his people, Mu Hong united survivors to resist. Chen Luo saw their resolve and decided to join the coming battle, which began with the two armies facing off.

• Big Strong led his zombie horde in repeated raids against the Great Prophet’s forces, which avoided chasing the faster zombies and turned its attention to Dragon Nation.
• Mu Hong rallied base leaders and Independent Awakeners to form a defense, while ordinary survivors volunteered to fight despite their low levels.
• Chen Luo, Mi Ling, Mi Li, Dharma King, Sea Ji, and Little Kami traveled toward the conflict on golden eagles, and Chen Luo decided to step in.
• Mu Hong gathered just over five hundred thousand people and confronted the advancing Oilheads and Brown Bears.

Chen Luo and his companions arrived as the Dragon Nation prepared to fight the Oilheads and Brown Bears, quickly turning the battle in their favor. Chen Luo imprisoned the Great Prophet, and Sea Ji began devastating the enemy forces.

• Chen Luo and his companions descended on Golden Eagles, while Kami fell from the sky and shattered a giant turtle's shell without being hurt.
• Puxiu sent blue vines after the Golden Eagles, but Mi Ling burned them to ashes with her red lotus flame.
• Kami transformed into a giant Big Kangaroo and killed several Oilheads in a rampage.

Chen Luo, Sea Ji, Dharma King, and the Dragon Nation forces slaughtered the Oilheads and Brown Bears, while Big Strong’s Zombies trapped their fleeing forces. The battle ended with the enemy armies annihilated except for a few survivors, and Vertical River Turtle was ordered to keep his head tucked into his shell.

• Dharma King, Sea Ji, Mi Ling, and Chen Luo attacked the Oilheads, killing thousands and throwing their formation into disarray.
• Mi Li used her King Rank power to strengthen tens of thousands of Dragon Nation fighters as they charged the Giant Tortoises and enemy ranks.
• Vertical River Turtle tried to flee, but Sea Ji attacked him; after he invoked the Sea King, Chen Luo told him to stay inside his shell.

After the battle, Chen Luo killed the Great Prophet and revealed to Mu Hong and the others that he was the Sea King. He asked Mu Hong for help with an undisclosed task, leaving the survivors stunned by his power and identity.

• Mi Li healed the wounded survivors twice with her light, while the Great Prophet regretted attacking the Dragon Nation.
• Chen Luo killed the Great Prophet, and Mu Hong and the others thanked him for saving them.
• Dharma King brought the Vertical River Turtle to Chen Luo, who spared him for now and ordered him to return by the end of the month.
• The Vertical River Turtle boasted about serving the Sea King, and Sea Ji revealed that Chen Luo was the Sea King himself.

After defeating the Oilheads and Brown Bears, Chen Luo recruited more than four hundred thousand survivors to search the world for the Lower Armor, offering rice and rewards. Back at the base, Rice reached King Rank, revealed that the monsters would descend in nine months and sixteen days, and showed Chen Luo a stream of spacetime energy heading toward Blue Star.

• Chen Luo gave the survivors rice, then asked them to search for the Lower Armor in exchange for daily rations and rewards for anyone who found it.
• More than four hundred thousand survivors signed up, and Chen Luo brought out a mountain of supplies to show he could pay them.
• Rice reached King Rank while Chen Luo was away, and, after he returned, Rice told him the monsters would descend in nine months and sixteen days.
• Rice clasped both hands and revealed a silver-white current of spacetime energy traveling toward Blue Star, where it would arrive in a little over a year.

Chen Luo used the Seafood assembly to assert control over the Sea Clan, killing Arrowfish after he refused to kneel and claiming credit for the clan’s evolution. The assembly continued with Chen Luo asking Red Lantern to announce the previous month’s top performers.

• Red Lantern reported that 112 of the 126 known eligible Seafood had attended, and Chen Luo ordered him to record the absentees.
• Chen Luo singled out Beibei and Arrowfish, and Arrowfish refused to kneel before the Sea King.
• Arrowfish transformed into a fish and tried to escape, but Chen Luo caught him while Jiang Chuxue stopped time and Sea Ji cut him into pieces.
• Chen Luo declared Arrowfish ungrateful and claimed he had bestowed divine power on the entire Sea Clan two years earlier.
• Chen Luo promised further divine power to Seafood who performed well and threatened to take it back from those who performed poorly, then asked Red Lantern to announce the month’s top five.

Chen Luo expanded the seafood rewards, recruited Beibei as his attendant, and killed a late-arriving King-Rank lobster, which Ma Yu cooked into Spicy Crayfish. The Giant Tree received the lobster’s remains while Chen Luo and his companions enjoyed the meal.

• Chen Luo expanded the monthly divine-power rewards to the top five performers, promised the Giant Sea Turtle enough power to advance beyond King Rank after a year of good performance, and ordered the seafood to transport humans and search for something.
• Beibei asked to stay by Chen Luo’s side, and Chen Luo took her Companion Pearl before accepting it as her gift and assigning her to Red Lantern to help oversee operations.
• A huge King-Rank lobster arrived late and claimed it had overslept, so Chen Luo had Jiang Chuxue and Sea Ji kill it.
• Ma Yu cooked the lobster into Spicy Crayfish, which Chen Luo, Jiang Chuxue, and the others ate with ice-cold beer.

Chen Luo distributed two King-Rank Crystals to his longtime followers and accelerated Long Yu’s work on a lightning weapon for Dharma King. As Long Yu began making a space-type weapon, Yuri reported that Big Strong had obtained a King-Rank Crystal.

• Chen Luo gave Shu Yun an ice-type King-Rank Crystal and wondered why she remained single despite several suitors.
• Chen Luo accelerated Long Yu’s work, and Long Yu finished a lightning-amplifying Magic Staff for Dharma King.
• Dharma King tested the weapon, then had Long Yu reshape it into a Helmet that he happily kept despite Chen Luo’s objections.
• Chen Luo planned to focus on accelerating Long Yu’s space-type weapon and wished for a time-type weapon as well.
• Yuri messaged Chen Luo that Big Strong had obtained a King-Rank Crystal.

Big Strong rushed to Thorn’s rescue after a King-Rank mutant zombie attacked her, but the lightning-wielding enemy initially overwhelmed him. Big Strong awakened an earth ability and gained King-Rank strength, then brutally beat the zombie while his followers watched.

• Thorn went to fetch water and was attacked by a lightning-wielding King-Rank zombie who demanded she join him.
• Big Strong arrived and charged the zombie, but the enemy trapped him in a lightning attack.
• Big Strong’s followers gathered as the zombie prepared to escape with him, and Big Strong awakened his earth ability, gaining King-Rank strength.
• Big Strong bound the zombie’s legs with earth and beat him despite the lightning surging from his body.
• Big Strong refused the zombie’s offer to become his follower and continued attacking, ending with a blow to the zombie’s kidneys.

Big Strong killed a King-Rank Lightning Zombie, gained its crystal, and reported his growing strength to Chen Luo through Yuri. Chen Luo met Big Strong, told him to save high-level corpses, and left with Wan Jiangui after Big Strong revealed that Wan Jiangui had flirted with one of his underlings.

• Big Strong killed the King-Rank Lightning Zombie, executed a Short Zombie who had challenged him, and took the lightning crystal from the corpse.
• Yuri reported Big Strong's new strength and awakened dual esper abilities to Chen Luo, while Wan Jiangui repeatedly tried to contact Chen Luo for help.
• Chen Luo arrived near Big Strong and asked him to bring the King-Rank Corpse, then refused the crystal Big Strong offered and claimed he had reached Emperor Rank.
• Chen Luo told Big Strong to save high-level corpses for him, and Big Strong agreed before asking Chen Luo to take Wan Jiangui away for flirting with one of his underlings.

Chen Luo welcomed Wan Jiangui back to the base and learned that Meng Yin had developed rice that could grow without tending, then discovered that tickling made Ningshuang cry and arranged to collect her Pearls. The chapter ended with Chen Luo tickling Ningshuang while Mi Li and Mi Ling held her down.

• Chen Luo took Wan Jiangui back as an ordinary member and returned with him to the base.
• Chen Luo learned that Meng Yin had grown self-sustaining rice and promoted her to deputy leader.
• Rice tickled Ningshuang over stolen snacks, making her laugh until she cried and revealing how Chen Luo could obtain her Pearls.

After completing the space weapon, Chen Luo went into seclusion to improve Void Walk, while Mi Ling welcomed Mu Hong and her group into Dawn City. Rice then led Chen Luo to a grassland on the Flying Continent to wait for an uncertain opportunity, where he found a zombie undergoing a transformation far beyond King Rank.

• Chen Luo and Long Yu finished the pale cyan Magic Staff, and Chen Luo tested its reductions to the energy costs of Void Walk and Dimensional Blade before sensing a way to improve Void Walk further.
• Mu Hong and her companions arrived to join Dawn City, and Mi Ling welcomed them and told them they would need to explore the Other Continents.
• Rice interrupted Chen Luo's seclusion and brought him to a grassland on the Flying Continent, telling him to wait there for an opportunity that might involve danger.
• After waiting two days, Chen Luo heard a roar and found a charred-black zombie transforming as its aura surged far beyond King Rank.

Chen Luo fought Steel Claw after the zombie transformed into an Emperor Rank mutant and killed it by exploiting his time and space abilities. He claimed its Emperor Rank crystal and steel claws before a group of survivors arrived.

• Steel Claw completed its transformation into an Emperor Rank mutant, and Chen Luo challenged it to a fight.
• Chen Luo used Void Walk to evade Steel Claw’s attacks, then combined Time Flow Slowdown and Time Acceleration with his Dimensional Blade to wound it.
• Chen Luo severed Steel Claw’s arm, but the mutant suddenly clutched its head, howled, and collapsed dead.

He brought Steel Claw’s corpse to Giant Tree to produce a powerful fruit, and Giant Tree was shocked by the corpse’s strength.

• Chen Luo returned to base, showed Rice an Emperor-Rank crystal, and learned that Rice no longer needed crystals to advance.
• Chen Luo absorbed a little over one-twentieth of the crystal’s power before his body became saturated, estimating that full absorption would take at least half a month.
• Mi Ling and Mi Li told Chen Luo that King-Rank Jiang Chuxue had overwhelmed them and Sea Ji with Time Stop.

Sea Serpent fled to Antarctica, where an enormous hand inside the ice seized and killed him, leaving the iceberg to disappear into the frozen landscape.

• Chen Luo used Time Acceleration to advance Giant Octopus, then killed him and the other eight seafood creatures for their King-Rank Crystals and corpses.
• Red Lantern told Chen Luo that Sea Clan members had spotted Sea Serpent, though they could not give his exact location.

• Chen Luo ordered the Seafood to keep searching for Sea Serpent and the missing Lower Armor.
• Chen Luo visited Wild Thunder on Meizhou Continent, learned he had reached level ten, and promised to help him advance to King Rank within three months.

• John offered Xu Qing a purple pair of metal pants, and Xu Qing brought three hundred members to escort him to his farm.
• John unearthed the Lower Armor, which adjusted to Xu Qing's body, and Chen Luo arrived to claim it.
• Chen Luo examined the Lower Armor but could not determine what its inner pattern or knee markings did; John received meat for the trade.

After Big Strong defeated several King-Rank seafood fighters, Red Lantern arrived with a large force and overwhelmed him, leaving him meekly admitting defeat.

• Red Lantern ordered the Sea Clan and thousands of seals to search for Sea Serpent on land and at sea.
• Two of Big Strong’s zombies killed a seal, prompting hundreds of seals and King-Rank Soy Leopard to attack the zombie horde.
• Big Strong flew up and fought Soy Leopard, whose flames barely hurt the zombies, and soon defeated both Soy Leopard and Giant Sea Cow.
• More seafood gathered after Soy Leopard called for reinforcements, and Red Lantern arrived with dozens of King-Rank fighters.
• Big Strong realized the force was too large to defeat, admitted he was wrong, and let Soy Leopard slap him.

Big Strong and Thorn were surrounded by Red Lantern and the other seafood, so Big Strong called Chen Luo for help. Chen Luo arrived and revealed his authority as the Sea King, ending the dispute and leaving the zombies and seafood stunned by his connection to Big Strong.

• Red Lantern ordered the seafood to kill Big Strong and Thorn, and Big Strong contacted Chen Luo for help.
• Rice suggested using Time Acceleration to help Mi Li advance faster, and Mi Li agreed to accept the possible side effects so she could help Chen Luo.
• Chen Luo learned that Big Strong was in danger and hurried to the Sea King's temple, where the seafood had cornered him.
