A gorgeous white light enveloped Alice, and featherlike cat fur gently covered the cat's body. When the light faded, Alice had become a white egg.
Then the egg, roughly the size of a basketball, streaked into Xu Ye's sea of consciousness.
The heart pulsed. "This is the first time I've learned that cats lay eggs. Tsk, tsk, how amazing. Looks like that damn cat will need a while to hatch."
Xu Ye was happy for Alice, too. With the cat growing stronger, he would also be able to share its sequence talent. He wondered what it would be.
The Bandit Lord suddenly muttered, "Xu Kid, while that damn cat is transforming, there's a secret I've never told you. It isn't your second personality at all."
"Bandit Lord, are you sure?" Xu Ye raised an eyebrow.

The Bandit Lord explained, "The Blasphemer's Diagram is actually an extension of the Blasphemer Sequence. If even the diagram has that effect, then naturally, having awakened the one-of-a-kind Blasphemer Sequence, you couldn't possibly have a secondary personality."
Xu Ye had already vaguely suspected that Alice wasn't his second personality. The cat was far too unusual.
Now that the Bandit Lord had confirmed it, that seemed to be the truth.
"So... we could absorb the cat! I'll teach you how. Once you absorb it, its abilities will become yours. All you'll need to do is give me a third of the energy," the Bandit Lord said excitedly.
Xu Ye looked conflicted.
"Stop hesitating. Even I can't tell what that damn cat is. But if it didn't evolve from your primary personality, it's a disaster
