Wu Shaozhen avoided the level 35 monsters at the foot of the mountain and headed uphill to the mountainside, where he finally found level 36 monsters: Iron-Armed Apes with enormous arms. Their stats were decent-2,000 attack and 240,000 HP-and all their skills were offensive, with no crowd control. For Wu Shaozhen, they were perfect for farming in groups.
A flat stretch on the mountainside was packed with Iron-Armed Apes. Wu Shaozhen planned to clear his way across it. With 240,000 HP, each ape only needed two slashes. He poisoned them as he went, leaving a huge crowd of poisoned Iron-Armed Apes trailing behind him.
At some point, Zi You emerged from the Pet Space and stood off to the side, watching Wu Shaozhen farm monsters with a deep frown.
After completing a circuit, Wu Shaozhen looped back to collect the equipment drops and suddenly spotted Zi You standing nearby. Somewhat exasperated, he said, "You really treat the Pet Space like your own home, huh? Coming and going whenever you please?"
"What else would I do?" Zi You said flatly.
"Fine, it's your home." Wu Shaozhen couldn't be bothered to argue with her and continued collecting equipment and silver coins.
"Why don't you dodge their attacks when you fight?" Zi You asked.
"Why should I? Their hits don't hurt. The little damage they deal doesn't even match what the Netherworld Pearl heals." Wu Shaozhen shrugged it off. His defense was already close to 2,000, and with his damage reduction, the Iron-Armed Apes' attacks barely tickled.
"But you're an assassin, not a shieldguard!" Zi You said seriously.
"Does it make a difference? I'm tankier than a shieldguard right now."
"Yes. If you're an assassin, act like one. Play to an assassin's strengths instead of playing one like a shieldguard," Zi You
