Hundreds of people guarded Jinling City's south gate, checking players as they passed through. Every player had to display their ID to enter or leave.

Just then, a man wearing an ordinary store-bought mask swaggered toward the gate with his ID hidden.

The onlookers all turned to stare.

"This guy's got some nerve. He doesn't give a damn about World-Proud Heroes."

"Plenty of people tried that earlier. They all got a free trip back to town, and then they couldn't get out again."

"World-Proud Heroes are such bullies, but what can you do? They've got the strength to back it up."

"Yeah, but all you have to do is show your ID. As long as you're not from the Madmen Gang or the Su Group, they won't give you trouble. Picking a fight with them like this is just stupid."

Everyone watched as the man swaggered right up to the World-Proud Heroes members at the gate.

"Stop. Show your ID and take off your mask," a young World-Proud Heroes member barked.

"Heh. And if I don't?" the man asked with a smile.

"Then we'll have to give you a free trip back to town," the young man said coldly.

"Oh? Sure. Go ahead." The man kept smiling.

"Fuck, you won't do this the easy way, huh? Get him, boys!" the young man snapped. In an instant, hundreds of people closed in, sending all kinds of attacks flying at the man.

-1 -1 -1

Damage numbers popped up over the man's head, none of the attacks breaking through his defense. Everyone instantly realized who he was.

"Holy shit, it's Dustseal! Stop attacking! Run!" someone in World-Proud Heroes shouted. Many turned and fled. They might have lorded it over everyone else, but when faced with Dustseal, their fear was instinctive.

Unfortunately for them, once they had started, Wu Shaozhen had no intention of letting them escape. He immediately activated Slaughter Time. He felt no qualms about dealing with these people. These cowards who bullied the weak deserved a good beating.

"Holy shit, it's the legendary Dustseal!"

"It really is! I actually got to see Dustseal! This is so exciting! Go, Dustseal! Kill them all!"

"Huh? Wasn't Dustseal's mask in the earlier videos thin and really pretty? Why's he wearing an ordinary store-bought mask now? That's why I didn't recognize him right away."

"Are you stupid? Can't he change masks?"

"Oh, right."

The battle ended as quickly as it had begun. The World-Proud Heroes members didn't dare fight back at all; they just kept running. In the end, half were killed, while the rest escaped into the city.

Wu Shaozhen neither pursued them nor entered the city. Instead, he turned and headed toward the east gate. This had started because of him, and World-Proud Heroes' behavior was downright disgusting. He needed to teach them a proper lesson.

Meanwhile, the chat windows of World-Proud Heroes' leadership were blowing up. Since they had yet to formally establish a guild, they had no guild chat channel, and Oracle had no group chats either. All the messages therefore flooded into a few leaders' chat windows. By the time they received the reports and passed down their orders, Wu Shaozhen had already reached the east gate and started fighting its guards.

After dealing with the people at the east gate, Wu Shaozhen slowly headed toward the north gate. He knew World-Proud Heroes would have prepared by now. Either everyone at the north gate would be gone, or the place would be packed.

Sure enough, when Wu Shaozhen reached the north gate, it was packed with World-Proud Heroes members, a dense mass of over ten thousand people. Almost all of them were archers and mages, and they stood ready, watching the direction he approached from. Clearly, they had no intention of backing down this time, and they had come fully prepared. With over ten thousand ranged damage dealers, even if they couldn't all attack at once, the enormous plaza outside the gate gave them enough room to spread out so that several thousand could hit Wu Shaozhen with each volley. Even if they couldn't break through his defense, he wouldn't withstand many rounds of that.

Even Wu Shaozhen felt a little uneasy at that lineup. This was going too far. Wasn't this cheating? Against a formation like this, his only option was to charge into their ranks, which would effectively neutralize their ranged attacks. But crossing from the edge of their attack range into the crowd would take at least two or three seconds, more than enough time for him to learn what it felt like to be pierced by ten thousand arrows.

But he couldn't back down now. After glancing into his bag, Wu Shaozhen calmly walked toward them.

Standing at the front of the crowd, World-Proud Under Heaven spotted Wu Shaozhen and sneered. "Dustseal, I really admire your courage. You actually dare to come here under these circumstances."

"Ants are still ants, no matter how many there are," Wu Shaozhen said dismissively.

"Hmph. Then let's see what gives you the confidence to face over ten thousand ranged damage dealers from World-Proud Heroes. Cross us, and I'll make sure you can't get anywhere in Oracle," World-Proud Under Heaven said bitterly.

"Holy shit, over ten thousand people against one? Have World-Proud Heroes got no shame?" someone in the watching crowd said.

"You only just figured that out? They've always been shameless."

"Uh, you're right. But why's Dustseal still coming? Nobody could withstand that."

"Maybe Dustseal isn't afraid of them at all. Either way, I'll always support him."

Wu Shaozhen strolled toward World-Proud Heroes, stopping just one meter outside the nearest archer's maximum attack range. He glanced at World-Proud Under Heaven and said flatly, "Then keep your eyes wide open. Sometimes, numbers don't help." With that, he suddenly accelerated and charged toward the crowd.

"Attack!"

World-Proud Under Heaven gave the order, and countless arrows flew toward Wu Shaozhen. In that open space, he had nowhere to dodge, but he had never intended to dodge anyway. Without hesitation, he took the Damage Immunity Scroll out of his bag and used it.

Everyone watched as the countless arrows were about to strike him. Suddenly, a faint golden light rose around Dustseal, blocking every attack.

"Damn it, a Damage Immunity Scroll!" World-Proud Lone Peak exclaimed.

"Fuck, he actually has one of those! Hurry, tell them to scatter!" World-Proud Under Heaven said urgently.

Unfortunately, moving ten thousand people wasn't that easy. Before their orders could even be passed down, Wu Shaozhen had already plunged into the crowd. What followed was a one-sided slaughter.

Ranged fighters posed no threat once he got close. Wu Shaozhen tore back and forth through their ranks, his daggers leaving flashes of white light wherever they passed. No one could withstand him. He killed roughly one person per second, mowing them down like grass. With his attack exceeding a thousand and his speed of two strikes per second, none of these fragile ranged fighters lasted even a second. Plenty tried to fight back, but their damage amounted to less than the health he stole with a casual slash.

A force of over ten thousand was enormous, but its weakness was equally obvious. Once someone broke into its ranks, only a handful of people could actually attack him.

The entire force descended into chaos. As time passed, more and more people died, while Wu Shaozhen remained at full health. This ten-thousand-strong force posed no threat to him whatsoever.

Seeing this, World-Proud Under Heaven had no choice but to order a retreat. Although giving that order would send their guild's reputation plummeting to rock bottom again, there was nothing else he could do. They had no way to fight under these circumstances. Continuing would only cause more casualties without affecting Dustseal at all.

In the end, the ten-thousand-strong force fled into the city, with several hundred members losing a level in the process. Once word of the incident spread online, World-Proud Heroes' reputation did indeed hit rock bottom, and countless people mocked them.
