  • A powerful figure struck Wu Shaozhen and trapped him in a Dark Prison; unable to escape with Void, Wu Shaozhen used the Voidstone to vanish.

Ch. 254Starshine Stats

After Wu Shaozhen escaped Showa City, the city lord forced Japanese players to search for him while Miyamoto Ichiro and Dark Veil discussed failed attempts to kill him. Wu Shaozhen checked his new Starshine-tier stats and prepared to explore the secret realm, leaving his future hunt for strength ahead.

  • The city lord issued a wanted notice for Dustseal and gave Showa City players a quest to find him or lose experience and levels.
  • Miyamoto Ichiro called an assassin organization and demanded an explanation for Dustseal's survival, while Dark Veil debated whether Flying Feather had failed or betrayed them.

  • Guild conflicts spread across Huaxia as more guilds formed and competed for leveling spots and bosses.
  • Dreamlight Dance oversaw the completion of Dream Guild’s Guild Base after more than half a month of construction and heavy spending.
  • The system announced that a Monster Siege would begin in one hour and that the base would disappear if Dream Guild failed to defend it.
  • Dreamlight Dance worried that rival players might disrupt the siege while Dustseal remained away.
  • Feng Yiner, Leng Yue, Young Master Huang, and Jun Lin offered to bring help, and Dreamlight Dance accepted their support.

Ch. 257Preparing to defend the city

As the Dream Guild prepared to defend its new base from the first monster siege, Dreamlight Dance gathered reinforcements and organized the defenders while rival guilds considered whether to interfere. The first wave arrived just as everyone took their positions.

  • Divine King decided to watch the siege, while Hell Messenger sent unofficial members to wait for a chance to attack without revealing the Gate of Hell's involvement.
  • Wu Ziyin, Yu Fei, Jun Lin's team, the Cold Moon Pavilion, and the Godseal Guild arrived at the Dream Guild base to help defend it.
  • Dreamlight Dance and the other leaders discussed the siege and worried that rival guilds might attack; Young Master Huang argued that fear of his boss would deter major guilds.
  • Leng Yue led the Cold Moon Pavilion to the east gate, Young Master Huang led the Godseal Guild to the north, and Dreamlight Dance and Jun Lin led Dream Guild forces to the west and south.
  • The system announced that the first wave of monsters was about to arrive, and the defenders prepared for battle.

Ch. 258Monster siege

The Three Great Guilds fought off two waves of monsters during the Dream Guild’s base siege, gaining levels but suffering growing casualties as the attacks intensified. After Yu Fei and a silver wolf helped stabilize the east gate, the second wave was defeated, though more than thirty thousand players had died.

  • Four Whirlpool Gates appeared around the Dream Guild’s base, and tens of thousands of level 40–44 monsters attacked from each side.
  • Divine King realized that his guild’s planned base in a level 60 monster area could face an even harder siege because of its location and guild level.
  • The Three Great Guilds joined forces and wiped out the first wave in less than half an hour, with fewer than ten thousand losses and many members leveling up.
  • The second wave brought level 45–49 monsters and Elite Monsters, putting the defenders under heavy pressure, especially at the Cold Moon Pavilion’s east gate.
  • Yu Fei sealed a breach at the east gate with her dragon, while a silver wolf disrupted the monster horde and eased the defenders’ strain.
  • The Three Great Guilds defeated the second wave after more than forty minutes, but more than thirty thousand players had died.

Ch. 259Platinum boss, instant kill

Wu Ziyin helped defend the east gate by empowering the players, then discovered she could instantly kill the level 50 Platinum bosses. After she defeated bosses at the east, west, and south gates, she headed toward the north gate as the battle turned in the players’ favor.

  • Level 50–55 Elite Monsters and a Platinum boss attacked each gate, overwhelming the defenders and breaching the east gate’s walls.
  • Wu Ziyin used Angelic Hymn to triple nearby players’ health and defense and continuously heal them, briefly halting the monsters’ advance.
  • Wu Ziyin rode Silver Big Bad Wolf through the horde and killed the east gate’s Platinum boss with Holy Light Judgment, then returned with its loot.
  • The monsters weakened after their boss died, allowing the defenders to stabilize and counterattack, while Leng Yue reported the change in the alliance channel.
  • At Dreamlight Dance’s request, Wu Ziyin killed the west and south gate bosses, then headed toward the north gate while waiting for her skill’s cooldown.

Ch. 260Seizing the Guild Base

After three bosses fell, the Three Great Guilds stabilized the defense, but over a hundred thousand players from rival guilds attacked the base to seize it. The fighting reached a stalemate at all four gates as the defenders held off both monsters and players.

  • Wu Ziyin killed three bosses in succession, stabilizing the defense and bringing the Dream Guild closer to establishing Huaxia's first Guild Base.
  • More than a hundred thousand players from at least a dozen guilds rushed the base, hoping to eliminate the Dream Guild and take ownership.

Ch. 261A brutal battle

Solid Bastion and the Godseal Guild helped the Dream Guild fight back at the gates, but attackers broke through the east gate and surrounded the main hall. Dreamlight Dance and fewer than a thousand guild members struggled to hold their defense as the chapter ended with her out of mana potions.

  • Solid Bastion, led by Guardian, charged the attackers at the west gate and held them back while Dreamlight Dance took the Dream Guild to reinforce the south gate.
  • Dreamlight Dance and Jun Lin led over seventy thousand guild members in clearing the south gate, but Leng Yue reported that the east gate had fallen.
  • Attackers poured through the breached east wall, and Dreamlight Dance gathered the defenders around the main hall while the invaders cleared the stronghold.
  • Young Master Huang disrupted the attackers at the north gate, and Wu Ziyin killed the last siege boss with Holy Light Judgment before the Godseal Guild headed to reinforce the east gate.
  • The attackers converged on the main hall and overwhelmed the Dream Guild; fewer than a thousand defenders remained with Dreamlight Dance, who realized she had run out of mana potions.

Ch. 262The siege ends

Wu Ziyin helped the Dream Guild hold out until the system declared its base successfully established, granting it powerful defenses and three days of siege protection. Dreamlight Dance survived the attackers’ final attempts and vowed to deal with those who had joined the siege.

  • Wu Ziyin broke through to the Dream Guild and used Angelic Hymn to restore and greatly strengthen its remaining players, who counterattacked until the effect ended.
  • After Dreamlight Ling'er was killed, Wu Ziyin shielded Dreamlight Dance, and a server-wide announcement confirmed that the Dream Guild had defended its base and earned special rewards.
  • The major guilds left, while attackers inside the base found its buildings untouchable and heard Dreamlight Dance threaten to retaliate against them.
  • The base’s siege protection switched players to Peace Mode, and City Guards killed those who attacked Dreamlight Dance.
  • The remaining intruders fled using Town Portal Scrolls, while Dreamlight Dance let them go and planned to punish them and their guilds later.

  • Wu Shaozhen picked up and used the Divine Bone Essence, increasing his bone root and raising his defenses above 30,000.
  • The battlefield began collapsing, and Wu Shaozhen activated Void as the surrounding space disappeared.

Ch. 265Soaring Serpent

Wu Shaozhen was trapped in a sealed hall with the Saint-tier Soaring Serpent, a powerful creature chained there for ten thousand years. He learned that escaping might depend on his Voidstone’s cooldown and tried to keep the serpent calm.

  • Wu Shaozhen appeared in a vast hall and used the Eye of True Sight to discover that the chained Soaring Serpent was a level 90 Saint-tier boss with overwhelming stats and deadly skills.
  • Soaring Serpent spoke to Wu Shaozhen and asked how he had entered the hall, while Zi You warned him that fighting the creature would be nearly hopeless.
  • Wu Shaozhen explained that he had arrived after space collapsed on a battlefield, and Soaring Serpent questioned whether he had truly killed the Bone Dragon in the Ancient Battlefield.
  • Soaring Serpent revealed that it had spared Wu Shaozhen because it had been imprisoned for ten thousand years and wanted company, then angrily described the God-tier seals and black iron gold chains preventing its escape.
  • Zi You told Wu Shaozhen that the seals could be broken by killing Soaring Serpent, by waiting for Zi You to recover enough strength, or possibly by using the Voidstone after its cooldown ended.
  • Wu Shaozhen chose to avoid provoking Soaring Serpent until the Voidstone was ready, after Zi You warned that the serpent might swallow him.

Ch. 266Settling the score

Wu Shaozhen failed to escape the Grand Hall and spent his time there talking with Soaring Serpent, while the Three Great Guilds retaliated against the guilds that attacked Dream Guild. After two days of fighting, the Three Great Guilds had established their dominance, and Solid Bastion joined their alliance.

  • Wu Shaozhen found that he could neither escape the Grand Hall nor log out, so he talked with Soaring Serpent while waiting for the Voidstone's cooldown.
  • Dreamlight Dance ordered the Dream Guild to retaliate against the guilds that had attacked its base, and the Godseal Guild and Cold Moon Pavilion joined the campaign.
  • Cheetah and Flying Eagle arrived near Wu Shaozhen's home to investigate whether Flying Feather had failed her mission or betrayed the Dark Veil Assassins.

Yu Fei revealed that the Gate of Hell had secretly incited the siege, prompting Dreamlight Dance and Jun Lin to plan an investigation before taking action. Back in the real world, Yu Fei confronted two Dark Veil agents sent to watch her and let them go, warning that she had betrayed the organization and would not return.

  • Yu Fei told the guild leaders that she had seen Gate of Hell assassins urging the attackers during the siege, and Dreamlight Dance decided to investigate before acting.
  • Yu Fei and Wu Ziyin returned to the villa, then headed out for a late-night snack before Yu Fei sensed they were being followed and took Wu Ziyin home.
  • Cheetah and Flying Eagle reported that they had confirmed Flying Feather's betrayal and were told by their higher-ups to keep watching her.
  • Yu Fei told Wu Ziyin that two people were following them, accepted her Holy Light Shield, and left the villa alone to confront them.
  • Yu Fei questioned Cheetah and Flying Eagle about their mission, then spared them and warned them to stay out of her way.

Ch. 268Saint Pet

After three days trapped with the Soaring Serpent, Wu Shaozhen persuaded him to become a pet so they could escape together. Zi You freed the serpent from his chains, and Wu Shaozhen accepted his request to join him.

  • Showa City players who had accepted the quest lost 20% EXP because Dustseal remained missing.
  • Wu Shaozhen offered to take the Soaring Serpent out in exchange for becoming his pet and promised to free him within a year.
  • The Soaring Serpent revealed that his chains prevented him from entering the pet space.
  • Zi You appeared and used her dagger to break the Soaring Serpent's chains.
  • The Soaring Serpent agreed to become Wu Shaozhen's pet, and Wu Shaozhen accepted his request.

Wu Shaozhen returned from Japan to Huaxia after earning a fortune selling looted equipment, and reunited with his allies in Jinling City. After hearing that the Gate of Hell was suspected of helping the Three Great Guilds but no evidence had been found, he questioned whether evidence was needed before making a move.

  • Wu Shaozhen sold his Gold Equipment for more than five hundred thousand gold coins, then used a Cross-Server Teleportation Stone to return to Huaxia.
  • Dream City prospered after its Teleportation Array opened, while Hell Messenger learned that the Gate of Hell was suspected but that no evidence linked it to the attack.

  • Guardian asked to meet Wu Shaozhen after becoming a fan of his rampage in Japan, and Wu Shaozhen agreed to welcome him.
  • Dreamlight Dance told Wu Shaozhen that the Gate of Hell had been implicated but they lacked evidence, and Wu Shaozhen asked whether they needed evidence to make a move.

Ch. 271Hell Messenger's Decision

Wu Shaozhen welcomed Guardian as a follower, arranged a secluded farmhouse resort as a new home, and traveled to Northern Desert City to confront the Gate of Hell. Hell Messenger challenged him to settle the conflict, and Wu Shaozhen accepted on his own terms.

  • Guardian pledged to follow Wu Shaozhen, who gave him and the others Platinum equipment before they left.
  • Yu Fei warned Wu Shaozhen that Dark Veil might send many assassins, so he arranged to move the group to Young Master Huang's farmhouse resort in exchange for 100,000 gold coins.

  • Wu Shaozhen told Dreamlight Dance that people could bring their game abilities into reality, but she said she had already suspected it.
  • Dreamlight Dance teased Wu Shaozhen by saying she only needed the man she liked to be unable to live without her.

Ch. 274Spatial Collapse

Dreamlight Dance decided to hide the warning about monsters invading reality until she could prove it to her father, while Wu Shaozhen took Yu Fei and Wu Ziyin to level up. Meanwhile, a rift widened in an abandoned Novice Village until the village collapsed and vanished from Oracle’s map.

  • Dreamlight Dance resolved to reach Diamond as soon as possible and demonstrate her strength to her father before the monsters invaded reality.
  • Wu Shaozhen learned that Yu Fei still could not clear the Diamond trial, and he reassured her that Feya might become strong enough at level 60.
  • Wu Ziyin criticized Soaring Serpent’s name, then summoned Silver Big Bad Wolf, whose presence frightened the boastful Saint Pet.
  • Soaring Serpent showed off its powers against a monster pack as Wu Shaozhen, Yu Fei, and Wu Ziyin leveled up.
