Lu Mi entered a graveyard instance with Jin Bi while searching for Shen Yiwen and Roman, then escaped after confronting Zeng Deming and rescuing Roman. He learned of Shen Yiwen's death, declared his intent to destroy the game, and received a reward that restored his cat transformation.

• Lu Mi escaped the Human-Ghost Showdown, and 2044 offered him information about Roman in exchange for a fake-couple agreement that Lu Mi refused.
• Jin Bi claimed to know Shen Yiwen's whereabouts and joined Lu Mi, Cheng Cheng, and Zhong Zixian in a graveyard instance.
• Lu Mi and his companions learned that their Mental Values declined as their neighbors grew stronger, and they planted seeds to replenish them.
• Lu Mi experienced Xiao Kui's past, while Xuanxuan's coffin experience led Lu Mi and Cheng Cheng to suspect Zeng Deming's involvement in the Red-Haired Girl's death.

Lu Mi and his companions survived the Library instance, changed Jian Di’s fate, and learned that keys might help repair the Heart of Hell. They entered a new instance to find Fanfan, where Lu Mi uncovered a spirit’s deception and returned to the lobby with Roman.

• Lu Mi escaped Jian Di’s haunted room, helped the players coordinate their routes through the Library, and discovered that changing Jian Di’s choices could alter the instance.
• Lu Mi and Cheng Cheng entered Jian Di’s past and helped her escape with her daughter, then Lu Mi returned to the present with keys that might be fragments of the Heart of Hell.
• Lu Mi gathered players to contribute Dungeon Instance keys and learned that repairing the fragments might require a human soul, so he and his companions set out to catch a ghost.
• Lu Mi and Roman entered an instance about an old woman’s missing granddaughter, Fanfan, and found a mirror spirit impersonating Qiu Bufan.
• After players accused Lu Mi of causing deaths, they investigated the spirits and learned that the old woman recognized the girl called Xiao Fan, then gave Huihui a wooden box with ten recesses.
• Lu Mi and Roman searched the building, where Lu Mi recognized a false Fanfan and trapped Snake Woman behind a door with a ball of fire in her mouth.
